Super Eagles head coach, Sunday Oliseh has been reportedly flown to Belgium for treatment after his health condition worsened on Thursday. With this development, the Super Eagles would be without coach Oliseh when they travel later on Friday to Burkina Faso for the second leg CHAN qualifier in Ouagadogou. Oliseh arrives Oliseh According to a tweet by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), via its Twitter handle, @thenff, the former Nigeria captain, became dizzy and weak after lunch today, and so had to be flown abroad tonight through the Port Harcourt Airport. The NFF said: “Coach Sunday Oliseh has returned to Belgium to continue treatment after being advised by Eagles medics. “He became dizzy and weak after lunch on Thursday and he travels abroad tonight through the Port Harcourt Airport.” Recall that Oliseh joined his assistants after undergoing treatment in Belgium and was on the bench when the Eagles whipped the Etalons of Burkina Faso 2-0 in Port Harcourt last week, in their first leg African Nations Championship qualifying clash. Very reliable sources informed Sports Vanguard that the Coach ”was not himself and after being examined by the Eagles’ Doctor, he was advised to return to Belgium to complete his treatment. ‘Yes, he’ll not travel with the team to Ouagadogou. He’s off to Belgium on medical grounds,” the source said. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/10/breaking-news-oliseh-flown-to-belgium-for-medical-treatment/ |

Leave North Within Two Weeks..Northern Youths Tell Igbos,Yorubas And South South A group of Northern youths, under Arewa Youth Development Foundation, on Tuesday, called on southerners in the north to relocate to their respective states to make room for northerner who would be returning home. This ultimatum was contained in a statement read and jointly signed by the group’s national president, Mr Aliyu Usman and its secretary, Comrade Alfred Solomon, during a visit by the group to the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sunusi II, in his palace. The group alleged that for the past four years, a policy of direct subjugation of the north and its people had been pursued by the Federal Government and its agencies, in collaboration with various governments in the south. The group described the alleged crackdown on northerners in the name of Boko Haram, the recent arrest of all imams of Juma’at mosques in Abia State, the arrest of northern traders, the happenings at the national confab, among others issues, as regretable. It added that “in the event that all the resolution failed, we call on all northerners to rise and support agitations for a peaceful dissolution of this union called Nigeria, for every region to go its own way.” While addressing the youths, the Emir of Kano called on youths to be ambassadors of peace and imbibe the culture of peaceful coexistence He said: “We should not forget that it is natural for people of different minds and cultural backgrounds to live in one entity called a nation. I, therefore, urged you to imbibe the culture of peaceful coexistence.” http://www.cknnigeria.com/2014/07/leave-north-within-two-weeksnorthern.html?m=1 Note: AREWA protested for dissolution of Nigeria and supports Bokoharam but no one was shot or intimidated. A member loyal to the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant waves an ISIL flag in Raqqa June 29, 2014. The offshoot of al Qaeda which has captured swathes of territory in Iraq and Syria has declared itself an Islamic "Caliphate" and called on factions worldwide to pledge their allegiance, a statement posted on jihadist websites said on Sunday. The group, previously known as the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant, also known as ISIS, has renamed itself "Islamic State" and proclaimed its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghadi as "Caliph" - the head of the state, the statement said. The persecution of Christians has intensified in at least four countries worldwide, increasing the number of nations where believers endure harsh suffering from six to 10 in just two years, according to the Christian persecution watchdog organization Aid to the Church in Need U.K. The organization has released a report titled "Persecuted and Forgotten? A report on Christians oppressed for their Faith 2013-2015" that reveals the rapid growth of Christian persecution in nations such as China, Iran, Pakistan, Nigeria and Saudi Arabia within the last two years. The report was presented to the Parliament's House of Lords last week and was compiled by ACNUK members John Pontifex, John Newton and Clare Creegan. "Over [the] last 48 months the situation [for Christians] has become worse in countries including, China and Indonesia, Iraq, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Sudan and Syria. These are countries that show a massive deterioration of the position for Christians and indeed other minorities," said Pontifex, who discussed the document with Vatican radio last week. "In fact, the number of countries which seem to be extreme in terms of persecution of Christians rose from six to 10 within this time frame of the last two years. "What this report seeks to set out is the extent to which Christians have been forced from their homelands as a result of what we are describing as religiously motivated ethnic cleansing of Christians," he added. Pontifex further explained that he's concerned Christianity could be completely eradicated from countries such as Iraq, where the population of believers has dropped to around 200,000 from over 1 million in 2002. "This means that we're on course now to see potential eradication of Christianity from Iraq potentially within five years, if indeed trends continue as they have," continued Pontifex. "If you consider that of the 200,000 Christians 100,000 of them are displaced, looking for an exit from Iraq, you can see just how close to a point of eradication we are." "I use that word eradication advisedly because Christians have [by] no means sought to leave Iraq out of wish to do so. They feel they've been driven out by the attacks in Mosul and the Nineveh plains where Christians have been driven out by IS who've given them a 'choice,' — either convert or die," he emphasized. Pontifex said the driving away of Christians in Iraq and even Nigeria by radical groups could limit the reach of the faith and the persecution might lead to a day in which people will no longer be able to say that Christianity is a global religion. Christians have been tormented by Boko Haram in Nigeria, but radical Islam is not the only culprit for the growth of Christian persecution throughout the world. The Chinese government has also restricted Christians from worshiping freely, according to the report. The situation for believers has worsened significantly for Christians since 2013 with the demolition of churches, banning of public crosses, and the Catholic Church being denied the right to carry out its mission work in China. The persecution of Christians in Syria, Pakistan and Sudan has also worsened in the last two years, according to the report. Christians in Sudan have suffered under the ultra-orthodox Islamist agenda of President Omar al-Bashir, while attacks from terrorist and extremist groups have plagued the lives of believers inside Syria and Pakistan. Similarly, India has seen an increase in Christian persecution since 2013, as Hindu extremist groups have sprung up with an agenda to push them to the lower tier of society. "We have seen in other faith communities extremist groups detach from the mainstream who are putting pressure on Christians. So if you look at India, extremist [Hindu] groups have put pressure on the Christians and other minorities by targeting churches, sporadic attacks in other ways, and making it very difficult for them to live out their faith," said Pontifex. The Aid to the Church in Need U.K. hopes the report will wake up governments, the Church and other groups in society to the possibility of Christianity being eradicated from the Middle East all together in the next few years. Aka Ikenga Backs Radio Biafra, Warns FG Against Dictatorship By Temidayo Akinsuyi, Lagos Igbo Think Tank, Aka Ikenga on Wednesday said the federal government should desist from acts capable of overheating the polity over the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, the Director of Radio Biafra. While throwing its weight behind the operation of the radio station, President of the group, Goddy Uwazurike in a chat with Daily Independent, said the federal government through its action wants to suppress freedom of information while hiding under the guise of fighting secession. He said it was the same path the late dictator, Sani Abacha threaded when he tried unsuccessfully to stop Radio Kudirat from operating in the days of NADECO political struggle against military dictatorship. According to Uwazurike “I think the federal government should draw a line between suppression of opinion and fighting what it perceived as secession. Freedom to hold views different from government’s own and freedom to disseminate such views and receive information are fundamental human rights”. ” In the world over, anyone arresting people for operating radio and news media has always ended up being the loser because the world is in favour of protection of Freedom of Information, and not its restriction”. “We therefore, are saying that the federal government is overheating the polity with the arrest of its Director, Nnamdi Kanu. In the South East, the major problem there is not Radio Biafra but preponderance of kidnappers and inability of the security agencies to curtail their activities”. ” We don’t see Radio Biafra as a threat to the peace, unity and security of Nigeria. Radio Kudirat operated here for years. The then government of late Sani Abacha went after them and we all condemned it. So, why won’t we condemn those going after Radio Biafra? Wole Soyinka was in charge of Radio Kudirat with Kayode Fayemi”. “So if today, Fayemi is a Minister in the government that is trying to suppress Radio Biafra, it just doesn’t make sense. We are saying they should let Radio Biafra be and stop the persecution of Nnamdi Kanu. It doesn’t make sense” he said. http://dailyindependentnig.com/2015/10/aka-ikenga-backs-radio-biafra-warns-fg-against-dictatorship/ |
*Calls for Sovereign National Conference An elder statesman and former presidential candidate of the Nigeria Advance Party (NAP), Dr. Tunji Braithwaite has called on the Federal Government to set the machinery in motion for the convening of a Sovereign National Conference by next year when Nigeria’s amalgamation law of 1914 would expire. He said this will enable the people to make a constitution of their choice in governing the country. Speaking at the weekend at the 154th Founder’s Day Thanksgiving of the CMS Grammar School in Lagos, Braithwaite declared that the constitutional amendment being carried out at the moment by the National Assembly is an exercise in futility as any amendment made to that constitution now would also expire, come 2014. He said: “The reality today of that amalgamation is that both in legal and political contexts, it is bound to expire in 2014 by effluxion of time, unless the people concerned now voluntarily agree to its terms or modify them. “Let the word go forth that the simpleminded proposal of the Goodluck Jonathan administration to celebrate the century of Nigeria’s amalgamation in 1914 by the fiat of Ida British colonial officer is precisely a disgrace to the present generation. “What is there to celebrate? It would have been a different thing altogether if we, as a nation, were celebrating founding father’s birth of a nation that has over the years blossomed into a strong, cohesive and socio/political vibrant force in the comity of nations. The reverse is the case here. We, therefore, call on President Jonathan to perish the idea of this disgraceful celebration.” He advised that this generation should rise to the occasion of Nigeria’s centenary to finally destroy its last inglorious relics and simultaneously birth a modern and progressive nation, instead of clinking glasses of champagne, celebrating and venerating a bad history of enslavement. Braithwaite warned against tinkering with the constitution to give all elective office holders extra two terms across board and retain immunity for corrupt office holders as this, according to him, will be igniting a social and political tinder box. “They will be trampling underfoot, the Nigerian people’s sovereignty. I will urge them not to dare such irresponsibility,” he said. Blasting Nigeria’s past and present political leaders of wasting the nation’s wealth since independence, Braithwaite said: “The post-independence journey of the nation-state Nigeria is anything but inspiring, yet the paradox of this sad situation is that the various peoples or nationalities that inhabit the geographical space of Nigeria are among the best endowed humans on the planet.” While arguing that the natural resources within the area amalgamated to officially create a nation in 1914 are enough to make every Nigerian live comfortably, he regretted that these are being frittered and wasted by a coterie, exploiting the ignorance and the primordial culture of subservience prevalent in the land. He, however assured that soon, this generation will resolve the issue of their own destiny. http://nationalmirroronline.net/new/nigerias-amalgamation-expires-next-year-braithwaite/ |

By Jimitota Onoyume, Davies Iheamnachor, & Vincent Ujumadu Supporters of the Radio Biafra boss, under the umbrella of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, resident in Rivers, Delta, and Anambra states have taken to the streets demanding the unconditional release of their leader and presenter, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu. Mr. Kanu was arrested, weekend, in Lagos, and transferred to Abuja, wheree he was arraigned. Many of the protesters were, however, arrested by the police. The protesters in Rivers State, who stormed Port Harcourt, were split into seven groups appeared peaceful, although, chanting war songs also called for the creation of the sovereign state of Biafra. The agitators, mainly business men and women of Igbo extraction, said it was an act of impunity for the federal government to apprehend a man who is championing the cause of his people. The IPOB supporters claimed that they were not part of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, adding that the IPOB is fighting a true cause for the emancipation of the Biafrans. The protesters who waved the Biafra flag as they marched, chanting Biafra solidarity songs said they were not satisfied with the bail conditions granted Mr Kalu, demanding that he should be released unconditionally. Photo: Nwankpa Chijioke They expressed grievance with the alleged unfair treatment of the Igbo by the Nigerian state, stressing that Biafra of their dream was a reality, “We are hopeful that Biafra will come to be. We are not satisfied with the bail conditions granted Kalu. During the elections, they had strange radio stations blaring hate speeches and threats in some parts of the north but nobody harassed them. This unfairness against the Igbo must stop”, one of the protesters said as they marched on. Some motorists blared their vehicles horns in solidarity as they drove through the protesters. Speaking, one of the coordinators of IPOB, Mr. Chidiebre Aguodu said, “The reason for this protest is that our able chairman, the father and founder of IPOB worldwide has been held by President Muhammadu Buhari. We need him to be released to us unconditionally. The protest for now is peaceful, but we need Biafra and we need freedom. We are armless, we have not harmed anybody and we owe nobody any apology for what we are doing. As Biafrans, we stand for justice and justice will reign. “Now our director has been held for days and we want him out and we want freedom in Biafra land. “I advise the country to allow Biafrans go because the marriage has lasted for 101 years and there was no understanding. The battle lasted for 40 years and we have won three times. All we want now is freedom because we are tired of the marriage. Let Nigerians be Nigerians and Biafrans be Biafrans.” Meanwhile, protesters, yesterday stormed the entrance of Delta State Government House, Asaba condemning the arrest and detention of the Director of Radio Biafra, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu. Gathered under the aegis of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Delta State chapter, the protesters, mainly women, demanded the immediate release of Kanu, describing his arrest as uncalled for and totally unacceptable. Songs of grievance Chanting songs of grievance and displaying placards which bore various inscriptions such as “Freedom for Biafra, free Nnamdi Kanu”, “We are not terrorists, we are freedom fighters”, “We are tired of intimidation and harassment by Nigeria Government”, “Biafra on the move” amongst others, the protesters said they were no longer comfortable with the Nigerian government. Photo: Nwankpa Chijioke Speaking during the protest, Secretary of IPOB, Delta State chapter, Nnenna Nwaoha, said: “The reason for the protest is for Nnamdi Kanu to be released; we have suffered enough in the hands of the Nigerian government and we are no more comfortable with it. “We want our freedom. That is why we are here. We are not comfortable with the Nigerian government, the intimidation, killing and all that; that is why we want our freedom. We feel very bad about his detention and it is affecting each and every one of us. “The federal government should release our Director, Dr. Nnamdi Kanu and we also want our freedom. As a nation that is due for freedom, we want to go; we are tired; the suffering is too much; it is not a crime to want our freedom; we want to go.” On her part, Mrs. Judith Ihebiehi said: “This man is our voice, he is our mentor. We have been in darkness all this while, so this man has been speaking for us. The Nigerian government has no right to detain him; he has done nothing. “Have they ever asked themselves if what this man has been saying is false? Have they bothered to verify what Nnamdi Kanu has been saying? So detaining him will bring problems; we have been calming our husbands down, we have been saying ‘wait’ we women will go to the government, we will talk to them and say this is what we want; we don’t want problem. That is why we are here. Arrest in this vein, supporters of the embattled director of Radio Biafra, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu were yesterday arrested by the Anambra State police command at various points in Awka as they embarked on protests in the state capital. The protesters, including women, carrying placards with various inscriptions, marched from Amawbia to the Government House, demanding that Kanu be left alone. However, as they approached Government House, the police men stationed at the place fired sporadically into the air and threw teargas canisters to scare them. Another group protesting at the Arroma junction was also picked by the police. Mothers protesting in Enugu over the release of Radio Biafra Director and Leader, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu Mothers protesting in Enugu over the release of Radio Biafra Director and Leader, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu Anambra State coordinator of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mr. Ikechukwu Okoye said their protest was not meant to cause any trouble, adding that they were only on the streets to prevail on security operatives to release Kanu. According to him, the protesters were marching to the Government House to plead with Anambra State governor, Chief Willie Obiano to prevail on President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene on the matter. He said: “We are only agitators who obey the laws of the land. This is democracy and there is freedom of speech and freedom of movement. “Why would anybody detain our leader and in the process be demanding bail fee of N2 million. We have not come to fight anybody because we are peace makers” Breach of peace Anambra Commissioner of Police, Mr. Hosea Karma, confirmed the arrest of the protesters, saying it was because they were parading along the Enugu-Onitsha expressway thereby causing breach of peace. According to the CP, “there is nothing like Indigenous People of Biafra. Those people constituted nuisance on the high way and that was why they were picked. “Right now, I do not know the number of people that were picked, but I want to assure the people that anybody who disturbs the peace that exists in this state will not go unpunished.” Meanwhile, the factional leadership of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has lent support to the Radio Biafra director. In a press statement made available to reporters in Awka yesterday, the national director of information of the breakaway MASSOB, Mr Uchenna Madu said it was identifying with Kanu in the spirit of brotherhood and pursuing one strong force for self determination. The statement read: “If Nigeria is shivering and catching cold when international sympathizers / supporters of Biafra are openly and diplomatically expressing positive concerns on Biafra and Nnamdi Kanu’s arrest which subsequently pressurizes the DSS to quickly but secretly arraign him before a court which also granted him bail, it evidently shows that the end of Nigeria domination of Biafra has come. How can Ralph Uwazuruike who claimed to be fighting for Biafra actualization openly support Nigeria government on this arrest of Nnamdi Kanu? “Nnamdi Kanu was not suspended by Ralph Uwazuruike or MASSOB as claimed. Rather, he left MASSOB in 2009 when Biafra groups in Diaspora who jointly assisted and supported Ralph Uwazuruike in the quest for Biafra, found out that all the monetary dues committed to the struggle from abroad and at home for execution of Biafra project were not judiciously used.” Also in Rivers State Police Commissioner, Mr Musa Kimo said twelve persons have been arrested in connection with the protest by members of MASSOB in Port Harcourt yesterday. The state Police Chief disclosed this yesterday evening, warning that the Police will not tolerate such protest in the state capital anymore. The protest disrupted flow of traffic in some areas of the state capital. In New GRA axis of the state capital, motorists were stranded for several hours because of the traffic gridlock caused by the protests on adjoining major roads linking roads in the high brow residential area of Port Harcourt. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/10/we-are-hopeful-that-biafra-will-come-to-be/

From Juliana Taiwo-Obalonye, Abuja The hope of routing Boko Haram by end of December seems remote as the military told President Muhammadu Buhari how the current weather conditions in parts of the country and some logistics issue have been hampering the terror war. The service chiefs led by the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Abayomi Olonisakin, briefed the president on this and other security issues during a meeting at the Presidential Villa. Speaking to State House correspondents, Olonisakin said the meeting was held to review the terrorism war in the North-east as well as the December deadline the President set for them to end insurgency. “We briefed the President on the security situation on ground after a 60-day review and we had to brief him on the challenges we have and ensure that the mandate we have is properly delivered. “Of course, the challenges we are looking at are the issues of probably the weather as it were and some other logistics that we feel we should have so that the mandate can be quickly delivered,” he said. On whether they are considering seeking extension for the December deadline to end insurgency, Olonisakin said: “We have not said that. The mandate is that we should clear Boko Haram from the occupied territories and ensure that we reclaim all the lost grounds. That is exactly what we are doing.” On the feasibility of the deadline considering the challenges enumerated, Olonisakin said: “It is a military operation and military operations have timelines and these timelines, we are working on them assiduously.” He said the United States and the United Kingdom had been helping the nation’s troops in capacity building, adding that any additional tangible assistance from the countries would be made public. http://sunnewsonline.com/new/terror-war-weather-logistics-hampering-operations-military-tells-buhari/

How I wish that the Nigerian people had their own Odysseus’ , Achilles’, Agamemnons and Hectors. How I wish they had their own ancient poets and great thinkers like Socrates, Plato, Aristotle and Homer who could remind generations to come about our past exploits with their inspiring, compelling and historic prose. Yet I look at the Nigeria of today and I am not encouraged or inspired. As a matter of fact I am deeply saddened. I see no heroes on the horizon but only questionable pretenders and fallen caricatures that have sold their heritage and destiny for a mess of porridge and that couldn’t give a fig about what history or posterity will say about them or their country. Many have asked why I should say such things. Permit me to answer that pertinent question by posing a few of my own. I start by asking: is this the Nigeria of Murtala Mohammed and Theophilius Yakubu Danjuma? Is this the nation that helped to liberate Angola, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and South Africa? Is this the nation that restored sanity and stability to Sierra Leone, that brought an end to a civil war in Liberia, that fought so gallantly in Burma and Somalia and that quelled a military coup in Sao Tome and Principe? Is this the nation whose wealth once knew no bounds and whose middle class once owned the finest cars and properties in London, Paris and New York? Is this the nation whose beautiful people once graced the streets of Belgravia, Chelsea, Hampstead and Knightsbridge? Is this the country that once nationalized BP and that gave Margaret Thatcher sleepless nights over apartheid South Africa? Is this the nation that once stood up to the mighty Boers and whose ancestors studied at Oxford and Cambridge as far back as the 1800’s? Is this the nation whose inhabitants and various ethnic nationalities once ruled vast empires and whose progenitors contributed so much to the traditions, religion and culture of Ancient Egypt? Is this the country that once fought a bitter and brutal civil war, yet declared ”no victor, no vanquished” and, in the spirit of love, came back as one? Is this the country which has been through thick and thin and yet whose people remained ever so resilient and always put a smile on their faces? Is this the country where giants once held court and where the greats of old once presided? Where did we go wrong? What has happened to our people and what has afflicted our country? When did our leaders become spineless cowards and deceivers? When did the green white green of our nation’s flag become soiled with human faeces and when was it torn to shreds? When did we shy away from fighting our own battles and prosecuting our own wars? When did we start bowing our heads in shame as events unfold in our country? When did we start sitting down silently as international newscasters speak about our nation in painful, disdainful, hushed and condescending tones? What has happened to the ever courageous, ever smiling, ever confident and ever dependable Nigerian who shook the world with his arrogance and confidence and who spoke of his nation with pride and joy? What has happened to our great army that was once the pride of Africa and that once made us so proud? What has happened to our great intellectuals and our men and women of courage and vision who once, like a collosus, bestrode the world? What has happened to the stubborn and proud yet warm, friendly and profoundly good people that Nigerians once were? What has happened to the people that were once regarded as the hope of Africa and the pride of every black man on the planet? Where and when did we go astray? How and when did it all go wrong? When did we lose our strength, our wealth, our honour and our power? When did we lose our excellence, our confidence, our dignity and our self-respect? When did we become so weak and so helpless? When did we turn into killers, savages and barbarians? When did we become so pitiful that the whole world mocks us and heaps insults on us so easily? When did they start saying that we have ”no serious government”, that we have ”lost control of large portions of our nation” and that we can’t even protect our own children? When did we become incapable of defending our borders and protecting our people? When did we turn into a laughing stock and a reference point for incompetence, stupidity, cowardice, ignorance, evil, cluelessness and all that is bad to the rest of the world? When did other nations start giving us lessons on how to fight insurgency and how to prosecute our wars? When did our people start clamouring for foreign armies to enter our land, violate our sovereignty and march on our sacred soil? When did we start having to ask others to come and solve our local problems? O Nigeria, how are the mighty fallen. Truly ours is a nation afflicted. She is finished and there is little hope of any form of redemption or resurrection. The honeymoon is over and the glory has departed. One hundred years of a forced and failed marriage has ended in a bitter yet undeniable divorce. We have lost it all and there is no going back. Those that wish to break up our nation for sport and bring our people to their knees have had their way. Those that wish to watch us slaughter one another in an orgy of mindless violence and that wish to establish their AFRICOM in our shores will soon be here and we shall be occupied forever. O Nigeria, how are the mighty fallen. I loved Nigeria but now I have stopped believing in her. She is saddled with many different sub- nations that were simply incompatible right from the start. She is plagued and cursed with one particular sub-nation whose ruling elite are dangerous and unyielding, whose guile and deceit is second to none, who treat their own people with contempt and derision, who believe that they were born to rule, who think that power belongs to them, who suppress the religious and ethnic minorities within their ranks and who were taught from an early age that there was none besides them. Those people have killed Nigeria. They and those who have consistently bowed and trembled before them and who have always allowed them to have their way. Our nation has become a cruel joke- she is a maliciously contrived contraption that has shattered many dreams and frustrated many ambitions and aspirations. This was a country that was created for the benefit of just a few at the cost of the misery and pain of so many. I will never accept the idea of living in a nation side by side with religious extremists who slit the throats of children, who habitually slaughter the innocents and who abduct and fornicate with small girls. Animals have no place in the homes of men. It is time for us to stop pretending: let the terrorists and their friends in high places break away and establish their own country where they can marry as many young girls as they please and chop off as many limbs as they want. Let them form a nation where they can stone adulterers and turn women into chattels that are not even worthy of life. Let those of us from the west establish Oduduwa and let us celebrate and enjoy our freedom from the bondage and ineptitude of a cruel failed state that has no soul and that lacks humanity and compassion. Let us be liberated from the deceit that is known as Nigeria: a nation that once was but that is no more. Let us be free of Nigeria: a nation where injustice, evil, persecution, insensitivity, impugnity, terror, graft and wickedness reign supreme. Let us be rid of Nigeria: a country where those of us that had the misfortune of being born on the ”wrong” side of the regional divide or who are adherents of the ”wrong” religious faith are butchered for our heritage and can never be treated as equals. Give us Oduduwa or let us die. Yet we will eventually take our freedom by force if it is not freely given to us. We shall take it by fire: by the shedding of blood and by our own bleeding if necessary. We will take it by fire and by sacrificing our lives if that is what we are forced to do. What we will never do is continue to live in perpetual slavery in a nation called Nigeria that is afflicted with feeble rulers and peopled by religious bigots, sexual deviants and bloodthirsty terrorists. We shall not allow ourselves to be consummed by the weakness and ineptitude of our present-day rulers and the sheer incompetence of those that do not have the courage or the moral authority to crush the beasts that have abducted and enslaved our girls. I have had enough. I say goodbye Nigeria: give them Biafra; give us Oduduwa or let us die. http://www.igberetvnews.com/?p=18484 |
