Asianjollof007:
Please help. What could be the cause??

let me guess opera mini.

This is the design Google should have gone for it's older siblings in the first place the radar chip which limited sales since it wasn't accepted in some countries added a ugly looking big bezel at the top and turned out to be almost useless. The only advantage of the chip is faster face unlock and it would have been better off with indisplay fingerprint.

Abelxo:
Please explain. I don't understand all these band 3 and band 28 stuff. I live at agungi cans Glo 4g work there?

every network provider has a band to required to connect to their 4g services umidigi lacks that of glo,it only has glo's alternative which isn't available in most areas.

.

.

Abelxo:
Kai I need phone with Glo 4g but how about the A3S. Does it support Glo 4g?

nope still the same the guy was talking about glo band 3 which is available in few locations it doesn't support glo band 28.

Abelxo:
Thanks. Does it support Glo and Mtn 4g? Also from the picture the bezel doesn't look big at all

mtn yes glo no,the picture doesn't justify it just go to umidigi official store on AliExpress click on the phone and check the pics users snapped on the user review page.

Abelxo:
These are the two phones I'm interested in

If you bothered to check the net you would know that the a3x is better but I must warn it's got quite a big bezel but no other phone offers what it does for it's price.

Who knows where I can get custom ROMs online.

Failure44:
No matter the processing optimization there's no way 1920mah can last pass 3hrs.
Talkless of heavy users like myself.

It's even less than that it has been confirmed to be 1821mah

Ziyech:
The Battery is a let-down, less than 2000mah

1821mah

Thats the disadvantage of edge displays it's just so easy to crack especially on the edge.

osic:
Battery Usage with the new ROM (CrDroid)...

does it have the new navigation system.

Casemiro:
thanks.

Is there anyshop I can walk to buy the xiaomi phone

ther are lot,you can try slot or pointek but I recommend slot.

Casemiro:
sorry, I want to ask, is there anything like Redmi Note 8 and is it different from Redmi 8?

Maybe that's what I saw on jumia

Redmi note 8-
Corning gorilla glass 5
Snapdragon 665
1080p display (overall better display to that if the latter)
A better camera
Wide angle lens
Way better design to the latter.
Redmi 8-
Corning gorilla glass 5
5000mah battery.
Ps- the note 8 is 55k.

Casemiro:
Thanks.

I know I have disturbed you too much, but I can't find a link to buy one

if you want to buy go to jumia, sorry but I don't have a link for that one.

Casemiro:
Thanks very much, I appreciate.

from all indications, the 8 is better than the 8a.

Please can you send a link where I can get it

Redmi 8a-https://m.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_redmi_8a-review-2050.php
Redmi 8-https://m.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_redmi_8-reviews-9800.php

Casemiro:
what's the difference between the two.

Please can you send a link to the phones

the redmi 8a is the stripped down version of the redmi 8 l.
The 8a has only a single camera unlike the 8's dual
The redmi 8a comes with a lower processor
The redmi 8 has a better display
The redmi 8a lacks fingerprint sensor
The redmi 8a has a relatively slow charging speed even with the acclaimed fsatcharging it takes 3 hrs plus to be fully charged with the inbox charger and 2hrs plus to be fully charged on the 18w charger.

Casemiro:
Wow!

Thanks for this elaborate answer

Please what's the price for the xiomii.

I'm looking for a good xiaomi phone below 45k

the redmi 8a is 36k,the redmi 8 is 45k

Robert129:
which has a better performance between redmi 8 and 8a since they're both using the same chipset?

the redmi 8

Casemiro:
Please between Nokia android phone and xiomii phones which would you recommend and why?

I want to get a new phone.

my main considerations are camera quality, battery life and internal storage

thanks

***UPDATE***

BUDGET IS 35-40K

I'll be saying what they have over each other
Nokia 4.2
Faster updates (it's on the verge of receiving Android 10)
Google assistant button
Notification led on the power button
Android one
NFC
(The Nokia 4.2 16gb model lacks fingerprint sensor)
Redmi 8-
Better performance
USB type c
Fast charging support
Miui(if you see the extra features as a plus)
Ir blaster
Better camera
500mah battery
Redmi 8a-
USB type c
Fast charging support
5000mah battery
(It lacks fingerprint sensor,it has the weakest camera of them all)
The redmi 8 is the best choice.
They all make use of a snapdragon chipset.
They all support gcam if you consider that.
My preference- Nokia 4.2 for some strange reasons.

OgKelvin:
My glo sim is 4g but it doesn't show 4g on my phone which made me ask and now i know but it still doesn't show it

your phone might not support glo 4g,what phone ?

HocusPotos:
oga kindly shatap your mouth there no dey talk nonsense
S8 has android 9 stock rom one ui stock rom that can be updated through kies or Odin
no dey talk nonsense wetin you don't know
besides note 8 cannot have android 9 without s8 having it because they came out same year and quarter and Samsung owes every flagship devices 2 years support that's why they started from Android 7 to Android 9 and didn't have android 10

it's like you just started using android

sorry I mistaked it for Android 10,i would correct my post.I just did a quick check and it turns out you were right.

.

Netcry0:
My budget is just 60k- 80k

the note 8 is better, they have the same processer.
The note 8 has the better camera the first dual camera set up in Samsungs history it also has a wide angle lens. They both are on Android 9,both can't be updated pass this levels except a custom rom is installed.
Overall it's an upgrade from the s8 plus you get a stylus pen, although I prefer s8+ it's just a personal preference.

JohnnyBling:
I use both mtn and airtel. The mtn is the one I sub for most times due to the location I'm at. E be like airtel no gree me login based on say I no use their sim for the data connection. Anyone with a similar problem?

same here I'm using glo to try logging in but it's refusing me entry.

Bluehill1051:
Lemme quickly call airtel so they can block it

It's not a cheat they are the one giving out just to attract more users of their app you can go to your app store to check how many downloads compared to my mtn and easy blaze for etisalat then because both gave out free data when you log in to their various apps.
