I ordered the redmi airdots on jumia its due for delivery tomorrow but the person meant to deliver called today I wasn't surprised because I have experienced this before,the person started telling me silly stories that he is close but his car was siezed by road safety and that I should do transfer meanwhile I'm hearing sounds of probably his friends in the background he was also calling me a name I didn't use to register.After rejecting his transfer offer and told him I'll pay on delivery he cut the phone I called him with another number and he was like which order since then i haven't heard from him.
The whole thing is confusing because my past experience has been different I would first be sent a message by the shipper stating his name and when he would be able to deliver.

I kind of disagree with this abit. I've used the A20s and I'm currently using A20. There are areas where the a20s trumps the a20 such as battery life, processor. But the a20 is better in areas like display, camera quality. The display of the a20s is shite compared to the a20 but it's battery life is better. The A20s uses a snapdragon processor white the A20 uses exynos.
So it depends on what the user wants.

Even the almighty Samsung updates phones not more than 2 years of production only.
iPhone 6s have become obsolate, it's a matter of time before the overrated iPhone 8+ becomes obsolate too.
We don't need an Update on Infinix since new models comes up every year.
It's better I change my phone every year than hold on to an expensive outdated toy forever.
Very soon, infinix will have a cheap 5G version and we will still buy it.

you think it's everyone that can afford changing phones every year,why do you think people want software support,even the change you are talking about is no more than operating system every year the phantom 8 had USB type c me moving to the phantom 9 would be a downgrade to micro usb.there is no upgrade from the camon 12 pro and 15 premier rather a downgrade from AMOLED and indisplay fingerprint to ips lcd and rear fingerprint.
All they do is recycle old hardware in new bodies.

the umidigi upods has a poor quality of you don't believe me you can go to AliExpress reviews or just do a quick search on Google or YouTube,I'll advise you to get the redmi airdots for about 1500 more.

simple implementation of ir blaster to control appliances, software updates,using USB type c just to mention few.

i doubt very few developers work with Tecno devices so I doubt him finding a compatable custom rom for his device,the only one I have seen was the spark 2 I think to Android 9 or 10.

I have used this device for close to a year now and tecno has refused to upgrade my phone from android 8 to even 9 talkless of 10
Meanwhile, other phones in the same release date and price have received updates. Even my Bro samsung j7 (released in 2016 or so) just got upgraded from android 5 to 7!!

Your phone won't die like she said but there will come a time it won't support some apps but that is in years to come by then you might have upgraded.
Your phone will die on Android 8,zero your mind on Android 9 or 10 update the only reason why the spark 3 pro got it was because it was under the beta program and it wasn't even all of there users than got it was about 2k of them got it.never by Tecno phones if you expect updates even the phantom 9 will die on Android 9,the camon 15 premier will also die on Android 10
Ps your brother could flash Android 9 or 10 custom rom to his device.

it's most likely to, check out the design leaks they might just make it smaller although this is not the actual design thats is a mystery and is still early to conclude.

It was obviously a set up by infinix plus the whole infinix sponsored giveaway thing,he couldn't even make comments about the camera which he always does all he could say was the chipset and the fast unlocking he didn't even bring out a con about the smartphone except form the suspicious 18w fast charge on micro USB.

I once use mi A2 lite, with stock android OS. Mi A3 comes with same OS.
I tell u, that OS is boring

seconded especially when you start to hear of the juicy features miui is giving just like changing your theme which isn't available on stock.Apart from faster updates there's nothing to stock Android tbh.

ask trollkiller he's the one using the phone but you could also disable it by going to settings click on the app and clicking on disable theat option is mostly available to system apps.

lol,from my experience of Tecno phones they come with an app called phone master just freeze the apps there which disables them and for you gaming needs I'll advice you to go for a snapdragon powered device.

Oppo this Oppp that, Xiaomi also did it as well to sell RN8 Pro units. Abi your Nairaland no dey load links and images? Anandtech tested the devices he had at hand and they all had the feature enabled. It goes far back as the Helio P20, which means they did not start it with the G series SoCs.

If an SoC as old as the p20 had that feature, I can confidently rule out all Mediatek benchmarks as inaccurate.

I I visited the site and I understand all I'm just saying is that the decision to enable it still lies in the hands of the manufacturer xaiomi might have done it I'm not arguing that fact.

well like I said it's a feature added by mediatek but it's not enabled by default it's only if the manufacturer chooses to.oppo chose to enable it so as it would look equal with it's snapdragon variant but over did it by making the reno 3 pro it look more powerful than the reno 3 Chinese variant.
All I'm saying is that's it's not mediatek fault I believe the feature was added due to customers demand,it's up to the manufacturer to decide if it should enable it or not some do while some don't in this case oppo did,not with the influence of mediatek.

let me guess it's performing a function on the tv when pointed at the decoder if my experience with decoders has thought me anything whether it's DStv,gotv or startimes it's that you should remove the battery for a long time maybe like and hour or two then if it doesn't work hit the remote on a surface and remove the battery I'm talking from experience.

Posted this a while back. The G90T in the RN8 Pro was also a culprit. As well as P95, G70, A22, P70 and a couple others. From the PC mark scores, the scores were all boosted by as much as 30%. Remove 30% from 280,000..

I wonder if the new Dimensity series also have the "sports mode" execution commands. Right when we were beginning to trust MTK, they showed their colours once more. Using fake benchmark scores to mask inefficient SoCs.

the sports mode was a Huawei thing which treats every app as a benchmark tester giving it the highest performance without optimizing it or saving battery.if you had bothered to read this news from more trusted sites like Android authority or Forbes you would know that it was oppo that was the culprit they cheated the scores although mediatek might have been involved,the snapdragon 765g gave high marks on the reno 3 pro Chinese version,the Helio p95 for the global version which isn't as powerful as the snapdragon gave lower scores which was interpolate.The same issue was discovered with other manufacturers even xaiomi and Samsung has been involved with this in the past.The sport mode added by some companies is just to show the maximum capacity of the chipset which doesn't relate to every day usage if xaiomi had wanted they could have added it to the redmi note 8( I think it's exclusive to mediatek chipsets).
In summary it was the phone manufacturer who enabled it not the chipset maker.

don't do it trust me you'll be stuck on Android 9 forever don't even hope on Android 10 talkless of 11 ,don't expect the quality features other phones gives for that price gives can you imagine for 50k you are still stuck on micro usb,Helio p22 and other stupid specs when you could get the Samsung Galaxy a10s for a lesser price although it uses Helio p22 but hey the price is lower or get the a20s or the redmi 8 which are all better than the s5 when you start complaining like those on this thread are you'll remember what I told you even if you want to get an infinix device at least get the hot 9 with Android 10 but weaker processor for a lesser price.
