Politics › Re: World Bank Presidency: Obama Rejects Iweala Nominates Jim Yong Kim by fm7070: 5:44pm On Mar 23, 2012
Obama cannot dictate for the entire world.
Let's wait and see
If everyone rejected the black handsome gorilla called 'Obama' will he be US President today?
Same way he sailed through, same way my sister Ngozi will make it.
They forget that Nigerian politics and economy is so difficult to manage. She's just a minister of finance. If the presidency refuse her suggestion, what will she do. Moreover, this woman has tried a whole lot for this country.

when people fail to appreciate good people, they will never become better.
whether she becomes the president of the world bank of not, it is a kudos for her that she was nominated. there is nothing more honourable than that.
I wonder why some dry-brained people are opposing her, anyway, your opposition doesn't matter
If she had come from Ghana, you would have seen the level of support should would have.
Why don't we appreciate good things in Nigeria and about Nigeria
Aunty Ngozi,
I personally love you, you're inspiration to me
You will get there! In Jesus name
then, your enemies will go jump into Kanji Dam

There are some paramilitary that are so much worse than the police.
we cry about the police because they collect the least amount. with 500 or 1k, even 200 will settle some small police excesses.
Paramilitaries like: FRSC, LASTMA, Customs, Immigration, VIOs, etc are so worse in corruption. They will not ask of the bribe directly, but that's exactly what they want.
The fact that those equipments are medical equipment is enough for the customs officer to check it properly and carry out necessary checks
One of that officer's children will die of similar sickness the machine is meant to cure
Politics › Re: The Truth About Lagos by fm7070: 2:45pm On Mar 19, 2012
If Nigeria is changing the same way Lagos is changing, no one will have any course to complain. The change may be slow, but its sure and evident
Some people just lack ability to think deep and wide.
You can drive smoothly around Lagos without ditches
Good healthcare for common man
Good schools
The road BRF Government constructs has drainages and as such will last longer.
Better Security
Unique innovation - PPP
many more.

I am not saying that Fashola is a saint or he's the best or that he doesn't have mistakes, but HE TRY NO BE SMALL. What has PDP governors and even Federal GOvernment been able to change since 1999.
No light
Bad Federal Roads (i almost died along Ibadan Ife Road when I ran into a deadly ditch at night)
No security
No innovation
Too much promises, no action
Bad policies
Fuel increment
Boko Haram
koro-koro Corruption
Bad leadership.

Igbinedion rulled Edo State for 8years, nothing to show for it.

I am not a polician, neither have I gained anything directly from politics, but it is only a f0ol that will say Fashola has not done anything.

Politics › Re: Bomb Scare At Awolowo House, Ikeja by fm7070: 11:46am On Mar 17, 2012
Boko-haram will dare not try it. Not in the east nor west here.
They too have their fears, they're just trying to be heard forgetting that they're fighting a totally wrong course.
These guys are sponsored by some people who have businesses everywhere, especially in Lagos.
They dare not try nonsense cos they know we'll finish them.
Even MEND appologised for bombing a facility in Lagos the other time even though no life was lost, and they won't try it again

these days, we can't even differentiate between real prophesies and unspecified predictions.
There can be disaster anywhere. Elisha prophesied specifically.

2Ki:7:1: Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.

@fm7070
The poster did not say that a pig can be fed with N3000.00 He said that a piglet costs N3000 to N3500 and this is actually true.
The price per kilo is also correct at N230.00 but that a pig can be sold for as high as N45k is what i doubt. N25k sales and a weight of 100kg is realisable within a year.
Actually piggery is smelling business but there is money in it if you can put in the effort.
I know because Okearo Pig Farm is in my neighbourhood and it is one of the largest piggeries in Africa, in fact the largest and has thousands of farmers who are mostly individuals
Buyers come from across West Africa on weekly basis with lorries to buy pigs, so the market is there despite the taboos associated with the business. Many of my neighbors have pens there and they are in money from this smelling business.
Nevertheless, it has its own risks and troubles too as in any other business. Its not smooth sailing all the way as some project.

thx. am so much concerned about people who doesn't  know much about the animal and may like to venture into it.
Agriculture › Re: Make A Living With Piggery Business by fm7070: 11:07am On Mar 07, 2012
All these ridiculous canvassing disgust me a lot.
Why not tell people a simple truth?
How on earth do you want to feed pig with 3000 naira? Its impossible. Note that, it's how well you feed them that will determine how well they grow.
Also, consider the marketing aspect of it. Its not everybody that likes pork meat. As such, you cannot reply on it 100%
I am not concluding that piggery is a bad business, but the truth has to be told they way it is. not cavassing people.
Pig's faeces smell like mad. you can't rear them where people lives. It has to be far from people.
Autos › Re: Drive Your Car Using Water As Fuel ! by fm7070: 7:23pm On Mar 06, 2012
nice idea, but let's wait for the testimony of those who have used it and confirm its effectiveness.

also, u must be able to specify the actual or rather, close range of the fuel to be saved. if its saving just 20%, then, its not worth it.
however, what's the price?
