They wont reply you but trust me you will get your passport soon provided you paid for DHL.

I paid for DHL the very day I was interviewed and submitted my documents...so it was delivered this afternoon at my address...

That's if the visas you mentioned are still valid and you are flying with a turkish airline.

If you have a UK/US visa you don't need a turkey visa. You can just apply for eVisa on thr official website and you go2good

For the record, so far, no one can claim that 1 Nigerian has been killed in all that happened so far (at least that is as per information reaching me for now). Before you shout me down, I was in MTN taxi rank yesterday, a main hotspot, particularly at the African mall, just to do my normal groceries. The shops were open, business was going on as normal. I'll also be quick to add that yesterday was their first day of opening, since Sunday. They were scared of the attacks also and actually repulsed the attackers when they were coming to loot their shops. I passed through Cosmos City on Wednesday, the heat of the attacks, and there was absolute calm there. However, my people in Nigeria believes that civil war and wanton killings are going on in SA and that we are all hiding in our houses.

To be clear, I did not say some Nigerians did not lose their businesses. However, the same will be said of Pakistanis, Zimbabweans and citizens of other countries who lost their livelihood during the carnage. Nigerians in Nigeria will not know this, but Game stores, Shoprite stores and other South African owned large and small-scale businesses in Johannesburg were also looted and their livelihood destroyed during the madness. These are not foreigners, these are South African businesses.

Secondly, I am curious to see how many Nigerians will board that plane that Air Peace offers free of charge. I promise you, I doubt 10 people will board. This should tell you Nigerians at home that the reports you are reading and watching are largely exaggerated. If it was a return ticket, I'll gladly board that plane so as to say hello to my family and then come back here to Jozi.

Lastly, please, when you get a video, be ABSOLUTELY sure that the video is exactly what the sender says it was. A lot of the time, these things are false.

I'll end with this, for me, Johannesburg is still safer than Nigeria at the moment, so I'll still stay here. When the time is right, I'll leave here.

Hello guys I came to Lagos on Tuesday to book an appointment with VFS when I walked into the room I spoke to the woman who was in charge that I want to book an appointment

that is a date on when to submit my documents she then asked me

are your documents ready

I said yes

then she gave me a number and told me to sit down

I was shocked because I was expecting to go back home the next day so I was like wow so God favoured me

so that's good

But at that time I didn't have my flight ticket and my hotel reservation ready so I just went outside quickly went to a cyber cafe and had it done.

When It got my turn there were some corrections wish I had to do.

my employer didn't sign on my sponsorship letter also he didn't give me introduction letter so they couldn't attend to me yesterday.

So the next day which is today 1st of August I went there and I told them I was there yesterday but I was told to make some corrections so I'm here today so the woman gave me another number and told me to sit down.

what I'm trying to say is that for those of you who are still at home expecting to do your submission on the date you have been appointed, you are wasting your time.

I will advise you to get your documents ready and go straight to Lagos and submit immediately forget about the scheduling

before I came to Lagos I booked an appointment via email with VFS but they didn't respond on time it was when I was already in the VFS room after I had been given a number that I received an email from VFS telling me that they have scheduled me for September 6 and I was like do I need to go home again when I've already been given number.

so it's a waste of time

Go to VFS Lagos if your documents are ready.

Appointment has been suspended...so you can walk in anytime to submit.
