Now that the attack is over and China is stepping up, they don't need to play nice with Russia anymore.

For a while, I've disregarded the suppositions by some that WW3 has begun.
I'm beginning to warm up to that view.

So even if Ukraine is not a military outpost, it can contribute economically to a future NATO war effort.

But apparently, that is not good enough.
So they'll have a low-intensity conflict with Russia.
Another conflict in the Middle East, because Satanyahu is the perfect warhawk who literally must keep fighting to avoid jailtime.
Even if the war in Gaza ends, he'll just turn to Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Iran. All munitions provided by the US/NATO of course.

Sure. They are still under the delusion that the world hasn't picked up on the pattern: Ceasefire with Russia, then attack. Ceasefire with Hamas, then attack. Ceasefire with Hezbollah, then attack. There's a 99% chance Iran will be attacked again after they're done restocking Israel's air defense. There is no way Russia would fall for that trick again and like a typical fraudster, Trump is enraged that his would-be victim is not playing ball.

If humanity survives after ww3, the events we are witnessing today would make it into the history of that war. However, I have hope that it would not lead to a full blown war. We have seen more tensions during the cold war and lived to tell the story. At the end of the day, the people bent on setting the world on fire are still crying about an attack that happened in 2001. I think they will back down if China and Russia continue pushing back.
