Exactly, and I am surprised Russians are quick to forget how the US and its allies vassals treated them before the Cold War, during it and after it. If Trump is said to be pro-Putin, what happens when he is gone and/or the Democrats enter? Why do they think it would be different? Iran has stood fiercely behind Russia and this is the time to show assistance for all that help, but nothing. It is very unfortunate.

As for China, I really cannot tell why it is not interested in helping Iran, but Russia owes Iran a lot in these trying times.

That said, this world and life are just so unfair. To the layman out there, Iran is a terrorist nation, but he forgets that the British and the Americans truncated their democratically elected leadership - Mohammad Mossadegh - simply because he nationalised their oil industry. The Islamists took over after removing the Western-imposed Shah. So, it is not a Muslim or Christian affair, but a country that has suffered so much simply because it wants to be independent. Black African women are sold into sex slavery, and worst of all, the fall of Gaddafi made dangerous weapons to proliferate across Sahel Africa, which affects us to date. It is part of the reasons I don't criticise other people's cultures, provided they keep those practices to themselves. I don't have to like those cultures, but every human or group of people should be allowed to practice what makes them happy, provided they don't force outsiders to practice the same.

I wish the people of Iran strength and courage. I know say e no easy, but I wish them all the bravery they need.

Whenever you hear someone calling these Islamic countries terrorists, just know that you're dealing with religious extremists that wouldn't mind seeing all Muslims disappear off the planet. There is no how you can objectively justify what the West has been doing there.

The West is already involved. Who is assisting Iran with anything at this point? Western sources have already admitted that USA assists Israel with interceptions. Iran's sole advantage is being thwarted while the other side does as it likes unopposed.

For the record, I still do believe that regardless of who did what, Russia, China, and NK do have to come through for Iran in a way that ensures its survival as a breakout nuclear state at the minimum. Simply voting in a UN resolution or providing targeting data is not enough.

I believe the actual objective of this assault is regime change and if the IRGC truly stands against this, no amount of airstrikes will make it possible. Trump will have to drag USA into a very costly war that would put Vietnam to shame.

Whatever deal US made with them against iran, they should know they will break it when they are through with iran and wants to deal with russia.
US is an unstable country to rely on. They have torn so many agreements against russia since 1991, they won't hesitate to do it again.
If iran goes down, russia will go down too sooner or later.

I understand how it feels. I mean, USA moved two THAAD systems to Israel and participated in interceptions while offering intel, tankers, finance, and everything else under the sun for Israel. They planned the whole thing from the beginning to the end together.

But then, who is really at fault? You don't need to be a student of history before you know that there's no way Israel would do something audacious to you without American backing and even if you manage to prevail, there is absolutely no way America and its European dogs would fold their arms and weep as you bomb Israel back to stone age. Iran doesn't have such kind of relationship with Russia.

Going nuclear was its best security guarantee, but why do that when the Supreme leader has a hit song that prohibits it? Why do that when you have the Most High, the Most Gracious on your side? I know this is easier said than done but I could think of different theories that could have made it possible for them to join the nuclear club. Of course any idea must involve Iran taking its internal security seriously like North Korea did. Aside the nuclear route, they had the option of boosting alliance with Russia but they rejected it because hey, they've got thousands of flying cocks to deter all enemies, including those backed by the richest and strongest countries of the world. I will never understand why someone would see the lies and silly excuses used against Saddam, Ghaddafi, and Assad and still think he's dealing with reasonable actors.

So please, don't blame Russia. The Ayatollah and the people that failed to take him out are all to blame for this. Many of us saw this coming.

Iran does not need to fire more missiles at this point cause they've decimated some of Israel's air defence systems. If you think they are running out of missiles then you haven't seen anything yet.
