A video which surfaced online captures the moment an official of BEDC was left hanging on an electric pole by residents of Oghara in Delta state.

The man had climbed the pole to disconnect power, but while he was on it, some residents brought down his work ladder.

Nigerian actor, Uche Maduagwu, has revealed that Nollywood star, Jim Iyke, paid him N4.8m to pull a stunt on the public and promote his movie, Bad Comments.

This came after Iyke had revealed that he paid Maduagwu to beat him(Maduagwu) in a video that went viral last year.

Iyke had in August 2021 beat Maduagwu up for questioning his source of wealth. The video went viral at that time.

The actor recently mentioned that the beating was orchestrated and that he paid Maduagwu after they reached an agreement.

Revealing the amount he was paid, Maduagwu took to his Instagram page on Wednesday to brag, as he called himself the biggest brand influencer.

He paid me N3.6 million to promote Bad Comments movie and added N1.2 million after it went viral. I’m not just the most talked-about movie star in Africa. I’m the biggest brand influencer,” Maduagwu boasted.

Popular Nigerian actor and businessman, Jim Iyke has revealed that his viral fight with controversial actor, Uche Maduagwu was orchestrated by him with the intention of sell his latest movie.

The Nollywood star made the revelation in a recent interview with media personality, and journalist, Chude Jideonwo.

Recall that in August 2021, a video of Jim Iyke attacking Maduagwu went viral. Maduagwu had questioned the source of his wealth in a video on social media, so he tracked the critic down to his studio where the confrontation took place.

However, Jim Iyke in an interview, revealed that he made an arrangement with Uche, to shoot the video with him to promote his movie ‘‘Bad Comments” which was released in 2021.

He said that he knew the video would be a huge publicity for the movie because Nigerians have a penchant for loving gossip and controversy.

The movie star added that the video generated the required result for the film, which it had not gotten despite the fact that 20 million was pumped into its production and promotion.

The Made in Lagos (MIL) singer headlined the Flytime music festival which went down at the popular Eko Convention Centre on Tuesday, December 21.

Buzzing Nigerian singer and Zazu crooner, Portable’s rise to fame has hit a hard rock after he was sent packing by his benefactors. Popular Nigerian show promoter, Kogbagidi, had people pack Portable’s belongings and said he should be returned to his village in Sango Ota, Ogun state.

In a video shared on the promoter’s page, he was heard asking the Zazu star if he ever collected a dime from his hand despite all he had done for him. Portable confirmed that Kogbagidi had truly not collected money from him.


Kogbagidi then asked Portable why he was then worried about the money with Poco Lee. The promoter added that the Zazu star did not have a single bit of common sense and told those around him who tried to plead to lead the singer out of his premises.


Portable was heard protesting in the background and claiming that they were sending him packing now that the Zazu song was reigning. Kogbagidi added that he needed his space and the Zazu singer should be taken away. He also said if the singer had been monitored, he wouldn’t have called out Poco Lee online. A video which is circulating on social media, shows a man creating a scene at a wedding ceremony after he found out to his shock that the bride is his own girlfriend.

It was gathered that man was invited to the wedding and he showed up to the venue just like other guests, but to his shock, the lady who was getting married that day was his girlfriend.

Destabilized by the turn of events, he started causing drama but before things could escalate, he was whisked away by security guards at the wedding.

A video shared online shows the terrifying moment American singer, Maeta, was bitten by a snake during a video shoot.

In the video, the Roc Nation’s artist was seen lying down on the floor as two snakes were placed on her chest.

However, the snake that was already on her chest sprang up impulsively when the second snake touched it and bit the singer on the chin.

This made her writhe in pain and remove the snakes from her body.

Maeta shared the video on her Instagram page and bemoaned the struggles she goes through to make creative videos for her fans.

It is believed that the venom was removed from the snake before the shoot so it was not dangerous.
