I was never ashamed infact mine was planned.

Honeysweetest this would help to seek out other moms who also had C-sections and talk to them about their experiences. There are loads of us. but some are just ashamed to say it out.

Trust me some persons do. my cousin gave birth through c section and was so scared what people would say. Eventually it became known to some persons and she was termed a lazy woman who could not push. But you know what ?am proud of my scar.

So finally we paid that afternoon for the CS,
Fear started to set in....I remember some terrible stories I heard about CS and all. I started working on my Fears, I made sure i fed my Faith and starved my fears with the scriptures and songs.

The next morning I was wheeled into the theatre...as they lifted me into the table, fear wanted to come again ....

I held onto my faith, and reminded myself that I promised my daughter her brother will be out soon


peggygee I have been searching for a group like c section group too here on NL .but I haven't come across anyone. we could start from here though.

Am starting this thread to support and educate mothers who have gone through c section. Its All about c section before,during and after. instead of judging women who wants a c section,why not listen. C section is not and would never be a death warrant .baby alive and mother alive that's all that matters. contributions from other mums would be appreciated.
