NNPC making profit for the first time.
Disappeared queue at our filling stations
Fillling stations selling fuel below official price.
Looters returning part of their loots.
.
Someone listed the amount this govt inherited in liquid asset but failed to list the liabilities like subsidy debt inherited. Olaitoro Phipex Olusola147

angry angry... Are u fing kidding me?

firstly u said drop in oil price and activities of the NDA are among the reason for failure. But now, NNPC is making profit for the first time. So Pls tell me from where exactly did the profit come from and if true.... Why is it we keep hearing from government that the country is broke.

Then u said no queue at filling stations and fuel at official price. At what cost is the fuel and sincerely say what is the effect of this cost of this available fuel on the masses?

Finally, ur favourite line, looters returning money. Despite all the billions of dollars returned, we keep hearing the country is broke. This government is know for it propaganda so it's hard to believe anything from then. They said they wld release a list of looters and the amount returned months back but till today nothing to show. They want us to take them for their words, but they have showed us and haven't giving us any reason to do that.

Am not a party affiliate but in for better Nigeria. The only thing this government can say they have going for them is the so called corruption fight. But almost two years now and not a single conviction. We are still waiting for one.

To every achievement or policy u use in hailing this government, I will give u 3 negative effects of it on the masses. U guys keep asking for time which actually doesn't wait for anyone. If this government doesn't change its way asap, it's going to be another 4yrs and resources down the drain just like in the past and who bears the burnt, still the masses while they walk away with their loots and bogus salary and allowance.

Okay guys. It's obvious 1 man didn't rule for 16yrs. I only used man to denote political party.
The fact is things are in bad shape right now but they're are some positives to be drawn out. Some good records have been broken too. Just that people are not giving this man a chance.
You can't justify blasting oil pipeline for any reason. That is the backbone of Nigeria.

Records like what Pls? That is if u don't mind

Change is a gradual process. Patience for 16 years for one man. you can't have patience for 3 years for another man.
Draw out some positives now. Things will change for better. It's a matter of time, we shall all witness it. The foundation needs to be very strong before thinking about beautification. All we have to do now is to show support, not hatred. 2019 is around the corner, then you can air your voice. Stop padding half truths and adding blatant lies just to make this administration look so bad.

Do you guys even know the impact of ND Avengers activities on the economy that is solely dependent on oil, yet you celebrate them after every blast. Despite all that NNPC is still improving.

Despite all the good gestures the president is extending to the ND, they repay him with death threats. Why don't you just give him a chance to show what has.
Hatred doesn't do any good to your body.

Talking about blatant lies, where and when did we have one man as president for 16yrs?

Secondly can u simply dispute or point out the lies exactly in the OP's write up.

And finally this militants unrest u trying to use to justify failure was caused by who if not the utterances of the president himself with his undiplomatic 97% and 5% comment.

Pls If u want people to be patient, just say so and stop justifying mediocrity with lame excuses. Peace

To implement budget that will benefit the country has a whole, they cant do that fully cos there isn't enough money. But u wld never hear them say we shld cut down on our expensive style of government cos the country is broke.

We shld forget party affiliate and learn to hold any government for its campaign promises. We shld Pls stop fighting ourselves cos I believe the real enemy is the government.

You and u likes thinks u sound so smart when u comment, but u guys are the most unintelligent set of beings I have ever come across.

You say person commit crime and u have evidence to prove that, u took the person to court but his lawyer was able to get him him off all charges in same court. The next thing u do is accuse the lawyer of the person for been corrupt for doing his job instead of blaming urs for failing at his. Pls before u come here to make an a*s of urself everytime, take ur time to know more about the law of ur country.

Imagine magu threatening lawyers. That is an insult on our judiciary. He wants to accuse person of corruption and expect the court to send such person to jail without a lawyer defending such person or the lawyer of such person to come and actually say yes, my client is corrupt. Where does that happens? Do u really know the job of a lawyer. If a person is corrupt, take that person to court and leave his or her lawyers out of it when ur own layer actually fail at his own job.

The major problem this current government has is lack of diplomacy. With little diplomacy must of this unrest we are having can be resolved with little diplomacy. The utterances of this government has caused more harm Dan good. The militant and biafran unrest right now was escalated by careless utterances by this government. They shld watch their utterances instead of heating things up with statements like this.

The judiciary arm of this government not taking offense from this statement show how much it's has been bullied by the executive which is very bad for our democracy and our country as a whole.

Call me a wailer or iPod yoot or whatever names kids like u call urself, I really don't care. Am in for a better Nigeria and not party affiliate like u.

No matter how their games are stepped up, they cannot move forward if Nigerians do not support them. Nigerians do not listen to fact during campaign but emotional speeches like "I had no shoes" and "I will fight corruption like I did during the 80s". There were candidates who sounded intellectual pre-elections but Nigerians went for popular candidates. Then add the bigotry innate in Nigerians, you know why we are here; it is part of us. As for putting much into campaigns, note that most did not have enough money. Even Nigerian youths that were supposed to help make them popular through social media did not but rather killed themselves for PDP and APC and they still do like one once said here on this platform concerning Remi Sonaiya "We do not need people from other platforms. She should join APC before she can then be considered after PMB has 'ruled' for eight years".

The last bolded, that ain't going anytime soon. As long as the Igbo man sees the Yoruba man as an enemy, the Yoruba man sees the Igbo man as a hate mongerer and the Hausa man sees Nigeria as a birthright, the politics of hate, bigotry and myopic interest will continue.

Thank you my brother, God go bless u. U took the words right out of my mouth.

The man had every right to extricate himself from a worthless, crooked, corrupt and incompetent political party and if he was corrupt, your PDP uncles with their control of the EFCC and law enforcement should have investigated him and locked him up if found guilty.

You losers are just bitter and upset after the fact. Your uncles were soundly defeated and kicked out of office by Nigerians and they are never never coming back, deal with it or slit your wrist an get it over with.

Funny when mentally crooked and corrupt people carrying water bottle for crooks and corrupt clowns spew morality when in fact they were busy shouting GEJ till 2019 while their PDP uncles were looting us dry..

This may sound silly, but to me.... This money for budget ehen, make dem divide am by the total about of citizen in this country and make everybody come collect e share go house... Lol

Like I said no need wasting my breath on someone who is so bigoted like u. Once u speak about this government, u are a supporter of pdp. I never said Buhari shld change Nigeria for better overnight.....but mister man, a year plus is more Dan Enuf for a government who is ready to work to start having positive influences on its citizens and deep down within urself.... U know the country is worst off. U wld bring up ur lame excuses of the money was looted and I am asking u if this government hasn't been making more Dan Enuf to help reduce the suffering on its citizens? If not, what have dey been doing?

No body wld be so sadistic and start talking ill of what is actually working. If u want to see the failure of this government, move out of ur comfort zone and see people suffering. Instead of hiding behind ur phone to justify rubbish.

You are here talking about the availability of fuel, at what cost? U will hail the removal of subsidy, what was Buhari take on subsidy back den? Be sincere to urself Pls.

When people u never imagine start calling for assistance, den you know what's up.

And Pls stop posting those rubbish link just like the current media corruption fight. Comot for internet small, leave ur TV and other propaganda outlet, go out and see the reality on ground.

Nigeria no get money, Nigeria no get money, but the executive, legislative and judiciary arms of government gets their bogus monthly pay and allowance regularly without any itch. What exactly is the current administration sacrifice for the masses? Instead it continued with the same expensive life style like in the pass. But when it comes to reducing hardship from the masses, the country is broke.... Same old same old. Must the masses always be the one to bear the burnt of the misrule?

In sincerity, Buhari doesn't not need so much to convince right thinking people that he is for real. All he has to do is show he is doing things different for the way they are normally done, same sets of thieving politicians in his cabinet, same budget of fraud like in the past and u are here expecting a different result. U havent learnt a single thing from ur past.

This is my last reply to u, like I said before, even if the truth is standing right in front of u, ur bigotry and hypocrisy won't allow ur recognize it. You know for a fact that investments in power generation can grow our economy, but what happened to 16 years of PDP and the $20 billion power funds?

They did not know that power can grown our economy and remove the darkness once and for all?

I also wonder why you people sit quietly unconcerned and failed to share this wonderful ideas about power growing the economy, but all of a sudden have all kinds of wonderful ideas to share after your uncles lost at the polls.

You and your kind care less about Nigeria, all you care about his your love for crooked, corrupt and incompetent people that you think should be in power to keep looting and wrecking Nigeria.

God did not answer your prayers at the polls and wont forever and never...

You starting to sound like a broken record. No needed arguing with a narrow minded individual like you. And for your information I voted for the lady in kowa..... So u can see how much of a f**l you are making of yourself assuming everybody who speak against this government is a supporter of Jonathan.

Since pdp wasted 16yrs, according to individual like you, we shld allow another 16yrs down the drain.....SMH. A government of almost 18 months has nothing to show other than blames.

Like I spoke against Jonathan's government and its failure, so I will speak against any lackluster government. Not everybody is a bigot like you whoes life revolves around apc and pdp...almost 15 parties contested for last presidential election.

And Pls have some shame and learn to say the truth when it's right there in front of you. I know your type, even if the truth walks up to you and smack you on ur face, u still won't recognize it.

Your mathematical calculation sounds goofy, absurd and irrelevant..

Why not just clearly articulate the plans you are expecting and to every reasonable human being, plans need time to manifest into results.

State clearly what plans they should have put in place and how they should go about mkaing it happen.

My calculations sounds goofy?... LMAO... Despite how easy I made it. Tells much about you. My calculations if u can work it out wld simply tell u that the talk of this country is broke is rubbish.

Before we talk about plan, why not talk about the right steps. Nothing this government has done is pointing in the right direction.

Go tru this thread, it will tell you how serious of a person Buhari is regarding ruling this country

https://www.nairaland.com/3211499/buharis-appointments-anti-north---junaid-ibrahit

A person who is ready to genuinely move Nigeria forward can not be this nepotistic.

Regarding plans I believe the president has his manifestos and I also believe shld have plans to implement his manifestos. In 8months time or so, he will be two years in office. And we will keep blaming the past.

Invest on power.... Give ur constant light and see businesses grow.

Improve our agriculture, if he has gotten to work immediately instead of blaming the past and he is really serious about diversifying our economy.... I believe major agricultural products wld been ready for importation and consumption. Instead he is pumping more into exploration of oil in the north. Seriously.

See mehn, everything about this administration is just so wrong. Good luck Jonathan was never a choice, but buhari is even worst off.

We keep hearing millions recovered from loots but the country is still broke. Nothing is working and its all due to this administration clueless ness.

I don't see where the President referenced anything about the worthless, disgraced, corrupt and incompetent PDP lately. The writer said the president gives an impression that the PDP achieved absolutely nothing in their 16-year rule and In fact, he sometimes infers that PDP destroyed Nigeria and he cannot perform a miracle in one year to rebuild the country, I just wonder why the same writer failed to articulate exactly what the PDP achieved in 16 years.

1. Is it stable electricity after stealing $20 billion power funds that left us in darkness?

2. Is it the wonderful roads, bridges, quality schools, good hospitals and so on they left behind?

3. Is it the wonderful refineries they destroyed and when they even refused to build new ones to prevent fuel scarcity?

4. Is it how they refused to invest the largest stream of revenue in the history of Nigeria to ease the eventual pains of low fuel prices that was bound to manifest eventually like we are experiencing today?

5. Is it using our money to or how they turned our public institutions like the NNPC into election financiers?

6. Is it how they looted and shared our money, bought mansions jets, cars and so on.

7. Are not even waking up daily to sad news about how they looted this and that?

The writer would love for us to forget that the PDP did not rule for 16 years and the horrible mess they left behind should not be part of our memory of history and we are in this situation by accident.

Unfortunately for the goofy writer, we know exactly how we got here and we won't forget or stop letting Nigerians know the evil mess they left behind.

What a waste of time and internet bandwidth..

So tell us, how those blaming the past help move the country forward? Cause that seem to be the excuses for lackadaisical attitude of this administrator for the past one year. Pls tell us how this blame game help solve our current problems.

Yeah you apologize when a mistake is noticed in your actions. It shows a quality of a Democrat and responsibility. That way he is trying to send a message which zombies can never know. People fear what they don't understand hate what they cannot conqer and such is the spirit of an interior man (a monster). By their fruits you shall know them

A self respected human being, after the whole intellectual buffoonery shown yesterday, trying to justify a wrong act, wld aleast say I was wrong. Instead of that, we are getting the president is democratic and asking for the resignation of somebody u wholeheartedly supported yesterday. This shows the type of human being we have in this country. This very attitude is very irritating and our country can never grow like this. You guys should take a cue for the president and also apologise for making a fool of urselves yesterday.

When you need to cool off and take time out , just come to politics section of NL and you would be amazed how Nigerians think..... i just can't stop laughing at some comments here .... Apologizing is taking RESPONSIBILITY, Display of Maturity and Respect for the Party Being Apologized to....

Do u mind the hypocrite......where are the once ranting yesterday, saying the Senate has no right to summon the AGF. You won't see them say anything here and if they do, they will be sounding like a sore loser, making statements like the president is respectful bla bla bla. Am not big on these zombies and wailers name calling, but am starting to believe y some people are been called zombie.

We cnt hide under this and allow impunity to continue.

So they shld continue stealing and forging so that there will be no issue.

No na.

That was how Metuh hid under "they want to silence opposition"

Has he not offered to return 400 Million Naira ?

My brother..... Simply tell me how this particular issue is of importance to me and you and the general masses in the street. Just watch and see how long this cases wld be drag to the detriment of this country just cos of useless egos. They shld put their difference aside and move this country forward. Cos this particular issue no benefit me and u in any single way.

We keep arguing with ourselves on who is guilty or not. I believe this is not the country's problem. One thing is sure, as long as the various arm of this government keep fighting each other, 4yrs go reach and nothing is done. E go be like film for our eyes. At the end who go suffer, still we the masses while dey keep collecting the huge allowance. To me, all this is rubbish, we didn't send them there to fight each other. They should put their difference aside and get to work. I don't see how this saga is of help to the economy.

Sincerely speaking, I don't like the way the executive arm of this government is handling things. Before, the excuse was the budget has not been passed. But now the budget has been passed, instead of looking for ways for proper implementing the budget, they are running in circles and chasing shadows. If u notice, this whole forgery issue has taken away attention from things that are more important. We have fallen for this trick by this government over and over again, I think it's time we open our eyes. Let's be wise.
