The All Progressives Congress leaders in Ijesa zone, Osun State, have asked residents of the state to mobilise against conveners of the summit on education and finance scheduled to hold in Osogbo and put them to shame. The Secretary of the party in the zone, Femi Kujembola, said this in a statement made available to our correspondent in Osogbo on Tuesday. Two of the conveners of the summit, Mr. Yinka Odumakin, and a former Attorney General of Osun State, Mr. Niyi Owolade had announced on Friday that the summit would hold on Thursday. They stated that the summit was being organised to enable knowledgeable people come up with solutions to the problems confronting the state. But the APC leaders described the conveners of the summit as people who had credibility problem while accusing them of being surrogates of the Peoples Democratic Party. He said, “The key players in the proposed summit could never be the saviour. When did the PDP become concerned about education and finance in the state?. They failed to make impact when they had the opportunity in sixteen years and left everything to decay. “The Ijesha zone APC, wish to urge our members, indigenes and the entire people of the state to disregard and dissociate themselves from this group and its efforts to cause chaos by the PDP surrogate. “We are also appealing to the people of the state to mobilise against the actors in the so called questionable summit and shame them. We are urging security agencies in particular to be on the red alert, and nip in the bud any tendency that could provoke violence in the state. “ The APC leaders alleged that the conveners of the summit were professional detractors who wanted to capitalise on the financial challenges in the country to bring Osun State down. He, however, stated that the PDP would not get through the back door what it lost during the August 9 governorship election which was conducted in 2014. http://www.punchng.com/news/apc-leaders-mobilise-osun-residents-against-planned-summit/ Meanwhile, a group known as The Patriots has called on the State Commissioner of Police, the Director of the State Security Services and the Commandant of the Nigeria Civil Defence Corps to beef up security across the state to void any likely breach of peace and order by the “suspected opposition elements who are planing violent protest.” The group expressed concern over recent protests which was characterised by violence as a result of non payment of salaries. |

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and an aspirant in the 2016 governorship election in Edo State, Mr. Matthew Iduoiriyekemwen has insisted that if President Muhammadu Buhari must embark on probing the activities of past regimes in the country, he must not probe former President Goodluck Jonathan alone but extend it to 1999. President Muhammadu Buhari President Muhammadu Buhari Iduoiriyekemwen, who spoke with Vanguard on Tuesday, in an interview in Benin said that while he welcomed the decision of the Buhari administration to probe Jonathan, it should not be a way to discredit the former President’s government. “There is nothing wrong in probing. What is wrong in probe is when it becomes witch-hunt. Yes, we are in a democratic regime, if President Muhammadu Buhari wants to probe the activities of past regimes, he should look at what has been happening in this country from 1999. “There has been a lot of maladministration and corruption, there has been a lot of stealing and wasting of government resources and if he wants to probe, he must extend it to 1999 till date,” he said. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/07/buhari-should-extend-probe-to-1999-pdp-chieftain/

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday assured international investors that his administration would continue the major privatisation programme started by previous governments but with “improved moral architecture.” He also promised to ensure that the process of procuring the country’s visa is simplified. Buhari gave the assurances at a business forum organised by the United States Chamber of Commerce and The Corporate Council on Africa in continuation of his ongoing four-day official visit to the US. He urged US investors to take advantage of the nation’s liberal trade and investment climate to invest in the various profitable businesses available in Nigeria. The President said his government’s intention was to continue to create enabling environment for future investments to thrive in the country. He said, “It is my intention to create the necessary environment for future investment in Nigeria. “We are the most populous nation with largest market in Africa with vast human and natural resources and blessed with abandoned young skilled workforce. “We are therefore a proud candidate to become the destination of choice for United States investments in Africa. I. work assiduously to welcome new investors to our country. “I will like to remind you all that we are continuing in major privatisation programme with sectors ranging from telecommunication, energy, gas, solid minerals, aviation, health and infrastructural development, but with improved moral architecture. We will also simplify visa procedures based on principle of reciprocity. “May I, therefore, seize this opportunity to formally invite the American business community to take advantage of our liberal trade and investment climate to do profitable business in Nigeria.” The President also enjoined the business communities in the US to take advantage of the excellent political relationship between the two nations to expand trade and investment activities, including joint venture projects in priority sectors of the Nigerian economy. He said the private sector must assume increasing role as part of engine of growth. Specifically, Buhari said his government would welcome genuine investors who were willing to embark on solid mineral exploration in Nigeria. He pledged that his administration would fulfill its key campaign promises which included creation of employment opportunities for millions of Nigerian youths. He added, “Employment generation was one of my key campaign promises. I will do my best to keep this promise. “There is no other way to expand economic opportunities and create employment opportunities for millions of our youths than boosting domestic manufacturing, undertaking infrastructural development and industrialisation. “Let me repeat, Nigeria will partner with genuine investors who are willing to join us to achieve our economic objective and at the same time realise handsome returns to recoup their investments. “There is more to Nigeria than oil. This is why I will continue to stress the need for increased United States investments in our non-oil sector. “In this respect, the present administration will be attentive to the needs of the business community and pursue policies that will strengthen the sectors that drive the growth.’’ Buhari added that he would focus on prudence, accountability, good governance, respect for the rule of law, strict compliance with, and observant of contractual agreements. He noted that Nigeria had enormous economic potentials that required heavy funding, which could not be sourced locally in Nigeria alone. In his remarks, the Chairman of the Corporate Council on Africa, Mr. Paul Hinks, expressed the readiness of American investors to do business with the new government in Nigeria. He, therefore, invited Buhari to chair the Council’s summit slated for Ethiopia in November. http://www.punchng.com/news/buhari-promises-transparent-improved-privatisation-programme/ |

Lool.. i saw this and Laffed my ass out |
I got married six months ago to the man of my dreams. He is everything a woman wants in a man except that he is small 'down there'. Of course I knew he was small before I married him but I didn't give it too much attention as it was always complimented with his long stay. I started noticing that he doesn't go beyond 5 minutes during our honeymoon and that continued until I started drawing his attention to it. It went beyond drawing his attention to crying. Last weekend, he opened up to me that he was taking drugs to meet up but that the drugs are now affecting him so he had to stop. I felt betrayed and bitter. Had I known... anyway, he returned that evening and handed me a gift bag, I wondered how a gift would compliment his non performance only to realize the content. Lo and behold, it was a Love Machine! I became utterly resigned before he went on his knees and asked me to compliment him using the Love Machine. I am really confused. I don't know what to do or who to talk to. My communication with him has never been the same since then and we've not made love. Please help me share this for advice. http://lindaikeji..com/2015/07/dear-lib-readers-my-husband-bought-me.html |
