Good evening mamas in the house, I've been an onlooker for a while on this thread despite not pregnant, I stumbled on diary section of Nairaland recently and I got glued to diaries related to pregnancy, I've read quite a number of diaries and I must say they are awesome, Forzarush, booqee, Benignasweety, Zaynie, giddyperson, Beyedew, Iomoge and Jina24, I never knew I will be joining this thread soon.
I'm 5weeks gone, I guess I'm one of team August and it's my first time.

Our Lord and Master,Creator of the heavens,earth and all within them,we give thanks and praises for mamas who suffered varying degrees of losses and ask that you cause them to smile again soon. That you give them double for their troubles and turn their stories to glory.
Master of the universe, the Cherisher,the most benevolent, we thank you for the mamas with children. we ask that you keep guarding and guiding the young ones oh Lord. That no evil shall befall them,that you provide all that iweand will be needed to cater for them in all ramifications.

Mamas please help me. My D's is seriously coughing. It started with catarrh on Tuesday last week but Its now full blown cough. He has has serious spec mucus in his eyes. I've been doing steam inhalation morning and night. What do I do? He'll be 5months Dec 6. Help me

mamas, i have had serious problem shaving down there because of my growing Tummy and back ache,i can hardly bend. I use veet hair removal but i can hardly see what in applying and mirror hasn't helped me much. i don't like keeping a bushy below and im sure hubby wont really be cool with it too.

I spoke to my friend about it and she said her hubby does the shaving whenever she's pregnant and sometimes when he wants to indulge her. in her words" after all,its his workshop so he's always welcome there to do whatever he likes."
It sounds somehow to me asking hubby to shave me,dunno how he'll react sha if i tell him but its kinda funny.

so my question is,how do you mamas shave with ur bulging tummy and whats your take about hubby doing the shaving. Pls share your opinion. Thank u in advance.

I remember when I was prepping for delivery and didn't want nurses doing it so I did 'acrobatics'. You can ask your hubby but if he can't just put your leg on the toilet seat for support or the wall if its not slippery. that's what I did.

Eyin mamas she wa? I just hope all these dramas end today because NOTHING must disturb PRAYER MONDAY!

There are good private hospitals ( I used one when u was in Kogi ) but you have to be very careful so you don't fall into wrong hands, shit can happen anywhere but GHs usually have almost all the hands\doctors you (might) need.

As nursing mothers,has any1 ever forgotten food on fire till it got burnt?

Have you ever forgotten to regfrigerate or put that food in the freezer till it got spoilt?

Have you ever forgotten to cook that "little" food(say white okro or ewedu) till it dried away?

Have you ever forgotten to make that call or reply an sms?

The list is endless...

I'm asking these questions because i keep wondering if i'm not a waster(in this buhari time)!
I dont intend to nbe one but motherhood has done all these to me ooo...!

Hubby complains initially but now,he sees and understand why its always so... Even though he still gives me#side eyes# sometimes...

I feel like im missing out in all these,trying to combine motherhood and "wifehood"... lol

As i am now,im sooo exhausted!

I feel like crying...

How did our mothers did it?! My momm had six of us...
