I even heard d DG saying will be in camp soon in phone conservation with a PCM, he said dey just needed few time to put some modalities in place for our camping exercise.

nysc did not postpone camping because of lack of funds, but because of logistics reasons, besides nysc has openly appreciated FG for releasing the funds to them... I suggest we should stick to the official information given by nysc management and expect them to communicate the new date to us as officially stated by nysc... Thanks

Like I'd premised, as far as I'm concerned nysc camp is on the 21st of May which is this Saturday.

So I already arrived Lafia Nasarawa state capital. By Saturday, I will be going to the Nysc Orientation camp at Keffi.

I'l urge u guys nt to despair, u r fortunate. It'l be like a movie when u r payed 3mnths allowee @ once. I served 2yrs ago, so I knw what I am talking abt. When my friends received their two months allowee wtout stress, I was jealous nd we still passed out d same time. There's nothing too appealing in nysc except for d. 3wks fun, nd after which u'll get fed up of checking ur calendar for d passing out date. While u r staying idle or otherwise, take ur time out to plan for ur 3mnths allowee which comes like a missile. Have fun.

Your observation is well tailored but like I said, NYSC is not a religious organization. Ramadan fasting is a personal cross that comes with right to religion, lent period is for the Catholic folks. I have also thot about the role of the kitchen as u did observe, but I think everybody will queue up for food same time. Those fasting can keep theirs till they are ready to eat. Isn't coolers supposed to be one of the essentials we need in camp? Or, an arrangement can be made, placing Muslims in charge of a portion of the food which they will serve among themselves when they are ready to break their fast. Anyone who thinks otherwise may use the mammy market option.
Well, these are only personal thoughts, but I am confident Ramadan fasting is not a reason to consider in choosing a new date. More so, as far as games & parade is concerned, I think their destinies will be placed in their own hands. Well, in all let them just come up with a new date sharply.

Lemme seriously warn all of us. If you know you are not in good terms with your village airforce lieutenants or you committed any evil against the oracle of your village, please kindly go and appease them. We can no longer continue to collectively suffer for the 'consequences' of the actions of a single person simply because the person is in stream11. Please, kindly heed to this advice and do the needful...and save us this stress and humiliation directed to you by your village people using NYSC as a medium to dispense it. Lolz.
