I think for oniru private home, you will have to buy an apartment. You can't get land.

Can you get land?

@phoenix480, How can I get a brand new 5-bedroom duplex at one of those estates you listed above 'FREE OF CHARGE'.

Always good to help the needy, you know!

I have an idea to get you a brand new 5-bedroom duplex 'FREE OF CHARGE' on one of this estate.

Some estate developing companies have a program for marketers. You sell 5 plots, get 1 free. Some you sell 10 plots and you get 1 free. Check around, you will likely find an estate that will give you a brand new duplex if you can help them sell a number of duplexes. Maybe you sell 10 and get 1 completely free.

hahaha i wonder your age, sorry for saying that but your logic is too childish and sounded like someone with low IQ. Ok from what you just asked me let me ask you, why check on forbes.com the richest men in the world you would have asked your friends to check there bank accounts to know if they are the richest.

There are standards to every thing and bodies responsible for each standard. Just like a lawyer would have an LLB and an Engineer would have B.Eng the same applies to the information you are sourcing.

Trust me gal you have nothing i envy, unless you have God more than me that's the only thing i can envy.

Thank me later gaal grin grin grin

Read you comment again please. "Thank me later gaal". You want to comment using the same phrases others use. And then you used it out of place. Thank you for what? Ha ha ha. Very dumb.

Well, get a job or start a business. When you can handle the responsibilities I handle and execute them as well as I do, then come back here to talk to me. For now, look at that phone in your hand, open up whatsapp and chat with your teenage age mates. This thread is for responsible adults.

Nigerians and their expatriate supremacist mentality

You amaze we with you lack of exposure. There is no supremacist mentality here.

If you as a Nigerian work for a company and you are sent overseas by your company for a project or training, would you be left on the street to sleep? Won't you be given accommodation? Those people who gave you accommodation are they suffering from black supremacist mentality?

Chevy view estate lekki is very ok, I have 2100m2 for your company there. let's work it out

Chevy view estate is more of an unplanned estate. If you have being to Crown estate regularly and compare with Chevy view, you will understand that Chevy view is just a cluster of houses. No proper mananagement

Why do I feel that this OP is a scam, so nairaland is now Lagos state government. If the company you work with is legit and massive as you claim this information is not what you source from naira land there are state bodies you can visit for accurate data.

How many times have you seen a leki resident listen to radio Nigeria the same applies to how many people on this forum stay in those locations.

Like I said scam alert.

Stop the envy and face your tlc. Everybody checks Nairaland. Even outside Nigeria, foreigners who have never being to Nigeria check Nairaland.

You said "state bodies know about estates"? Ok, let me ask you; be honest with your answer in your heart. If you have a child in primary 1 and you intend to take your child to a new school, do you go to the Ministry of Education to ask which is the best school around? Instead, you ask around, your friends, family and the testimonials you have received. This will then guide your decision when you choose the new school for your child. Thanks for commenting.

If resources isn't an issue, then Banana Island, Ikoyi fits the bill.

Banana Island is out. It will be included if they generate their own electricity and it runs 24/7.

I need suggestions from those who live or have knowledge of the the safest and most privates estates in Lagos. The company I work for intends to build a staff quarters for expatriates to save money on hotels and rents, going long-term.

Please I need this information urgently and honestly as I have being placed in charge of the building committee. And, the requirements are that the estate should have record of being secure, with good security and private. People can not just flock in and out of the estate when they have no business there.

If this can be on frontpage, I would appreciate.

Romance / The Rise In Deceitful House Husbands by francababy(f): 7:25pm On Dec 12, 2015
I noticed a trend that is on the increase. The rise in deceitful house-husbands

Before now, we were used to housewives. Where the woman sits at home while the man goes to work.

There is an increase in a reversal of this normal model. A situation where the woman goes to work while the man sits at home. Please don't get me wrong. There are times when this is acceptable and they are

1. The man works from home. I mean actually works from home and earns stable income. This is accepted

2. The man lost his job and he is working hard to get another or get back on his feet. This is accepted

The case i have a very big problem with is the deceitful house-husbands. These type sit at home while the woman goes to work. They are always borrowing from the wife. When you ask them what they do for a living they give responses such as

A. I am into import and export
B. I am a politician
C. I am a businessman. Which business? They are into everything
D. Some have even started claiming yahoo boys but they have no laptop. They don't even know how yahoo is done.
E. And the worst of all: I am travelling out of Nigeria soon group. Since they are travelling out of Nigeria soon, they do not do anything. No job or business in Nigeria suites them.

Am I wrong? Am I the only one who noticed it? Have anyone seen any example of this?

[size=14pt]All Men Out there. Including the OP Toks2008 hear this.

If you don't want to cause undue problem for yourself....

If you don't want to attract frustration....

If you don't want to turn to a perpetual beggar borrowing to pay school fees...

If you don't want to call your wife a witch in future...

If you don't want to die of hypertension...

DO NOT ATTEMPT POINT NO.2 BY THE OP

I showed this post to my male colleagues this evening before we left the office and they accepted all the points as okay except number 2. These are men earning upwards of 400k monthly. They know what it is to take care of a family in today's Nigeria

Hello NL,

I need your advice urgently. A friend of mine just came back from the US with 2 cars. A 2006 LR3 and a 2006 Mercedez Benz Ml350. Both have the same price. My uncle wants to buy one of them He is asking for my recommendation on which to pick. As the middleman here, I am getting my own commission. I want to make the right recommendation so that in future, my uncle will respect me.

That's why I need your advice urgently. The car will be used by a man. He is tall. 6ft 3in or so. Both cars are 2006 year models. Both cars have the same price. Which should I recommend? Which should he buy?

Am a Corps member. Four of my bosses are on my neck. Two married and two eligible bachelors. I actually like on of the bachelors, he is a really cool guy. The other bachelor barks a lot, and the two married men, well, me I can't date them and they can't try nonsense with me. This bachelor that barks a lot has begun to start barking at me(someone that used to play with me before) me I'll just ignore him,cos he no fit do me anything. One day he threatened to call the DG of NYSC to report me for what I did not do. I just laughed and told him to use my phone to call the DG cos the DG won't pick his call, he was surprised, my friend now told him the DG is my uncle. Ever since then, when he sees me he would just eye me and comot face. Oh, the one I like, we r close now, not dating YET tho. Dunno if I should.
Date him when your service ends. That's the only way you will know if he wants something serious or he is just turned on by your khaki
