A colleague of mine resigned from the company I work and he was paid around N8.4m. This is really tempting. We resumed the same year and I even resumed 5 months before him. My annual take home is N3.6m before taxes. I don't know how much mine will be, but I'm tempted to resign and collect one lump sum to start my own business. I'm confused now. Please advise.

No I did not bathe outside. I had some course mates in the hostel. In my first semester of my first year, I was staying in a hotel along ikorodu road by jibowu bus stop. It is owned by a transporter that goes to the east.A day was N1,500. I stayed there with one other female student. We contributed N750 daily. After a while, we got very broke. We couldn't even eat. We already spent every money on accommodation. As a student, paying N750 daily is not easy at all. I sold my phone to those guys that have shops close to the railway to raise chop money. Then I moved to living in classrooms.

I am creating this thread in response to another thread on fp on guys telling girls to come to their house.

1. It is better for a guy to have a date at his house rather than an expensive restaurant given the unthoughtful was of today's nigerian girls. Imagine my cousin invited his new girlfriend for a date at an expensive restaurant. She came with her friend. They ate like that was their last meal. After that, they remember their flat mate who they promised to get something for when coming. My cousin both them the takeaway. After that, while they were leaving, they remembered that their cab man has being waiting outside while they were eating. So they order for snacks again for their cab man. Now, if it was my cousin's house, would all that nonsense take place?

2. When a girl meets a guy that looks well to do, deep in her heart, she wants to explore and assess everything. She wants to check out his crib. She wants to know if it's comfy enough for her weekend getaways. Ladies, we should stop lying to ourselves.


3. If a guy does not take a girl to his house and always takes her to a hotel, she would be the one shouting and complaining. Is he married, that's why he can't take me home? Does he take me for a who.re? Does he take me seriously?

Update on this event. They were able to reach Oscar through one of his friends this early morning. Oscar said he never slapped his mum. He said she slapped him once and he was shouting at her not to try it again then she wanted to slap him again and he slapped her hand down. The palm of her hand. When she was throwing the slap, he slapped her hand down like he was blocking the slap. Then he went to his room packed a few things and to look for Tania who went to wait for him in their church.
