As a Batch A corper serving in Agbara, Ogun State, I won't say I made th best use of my service year but sometimes we dnt get wat we wish for or plans don't tag along. I love varieties, mixing business with pleasure and doin wat I feel like doin as long as it will make me happy.

Back to topic..
Durin my service year, I

.. took part in the Macho contest in camp,
.. broke up with my girlfriend or th other way round because I refused to divide my allawee
.. ran a marathon and preparing for another one coming up next week
.. taking HSE classes (not much but somtin)
.. preparing to start my own venture/business because I hate working for people

and yesterday was my bday but Nairaland no get bar

Hello my fellow corpers,this goes to the batch A 2015.in my area of primary assignment we are asked to pay 500 before collecting our form b for our final clearance. They are sayin the 500 is for one nysc foundation, I want to know if this is true cos d nysc officials are fond of exploiting us here.pls I need answers.tnx.

Final Clearance starts next wk.. from 14th of March..
No POP for Batch A 2015 Corp members bt on April 14th dey will only issue our certificates to Corp members..
Finally: Immediately afta d Clearance Corp members can travel and come back April 14th for der certificates...

I have met with the LGI who previously gave me permission to travel and she asked me to submit my final clearance with my CDS madam who will give it to her during clearance but, there was an emergency meeting a day after the permission where the State Coordinator scolded the officials and asked them to desist from given permission to corp members to travel or risk losing their jobs. Therefore, on the day I went to submit my final clearance she asked me to drop it with the same CDS madam that, if she could, she will get the certificate otherwise, I will have to be the one that will come and look for the certificate when I come back. That she has not formally given me permission and that I am traveling at my own risk.
This is where I am. Plz, help!
