it just developed a motherboard problem recently.
I am the 1st user, I bought the laptop brand new late 2014 and don't use it often. only when I want to type. have receipt and everything with follow-come charger.

which PC do u think I can swap my lenovo with?
I'll top it money for something nice.

Let's assume you're using a core i5 system with dedicated graphic that cost over 100,000

The MOBO got spoil and you have the option of either buying a motherboard for #40k or buy same system for over 100,000?


Just like every other electronic, the laptop motherboard is not different from them, if you like buy new laptop it will still spoil if it want to.

Have seen so many laptops that pack up within 2-6Months of usage.

Instead you should ask which is better to buy between a used motherboard and a new motherboard.

please is it true that changing motherboard of pc is waste of money?

a friend said it was better i just save up and buy uk used or brand new PC, that the motherboard will still spoil again.

not that i'm repairing o! i am buying another motherboard.

Kindly explain the time u switched it on last without no issue and what did you do? What charger did you use then and now? Do you have fluctuate power supply?

Try the following before you reply me back:

Remove your battery and replace it back.
Use a original Lenovo charger to charge it, i mean the kind of charger compatible specifically with your Lenovo model.
Lastly, remove your battery and power your laptop with your power cable directly and see what happen.

I will be waiting for the outcome.

- switched it on 2 weeks ago. it died flat the last time i used it and i didn't have time to recharge.

- i used my follow come charger. i bought the pc brand new back in early 2014.

- power is quite good. i wasn't using and charging it the last time i used it.

my lappy just on its own, refuse to power on nor charge.
if i plug it in it will just be blinking the red light(light shown when u have extremely low ba3). it will blink as if its about to charge, only to switch off and just stay like that. no charge no power on!
