Kudos to Sooperrescue on his thread on Synthetic Oils. But the fact still remains that a lot of us still use 20W50 on our vehicles due to factors ranging from Cost to knowledge gap.

The aim of this thread is for us to know the best 20W50 engine oil we can use for our vehicles. I personally use Total Quartz 5000 20W50 which has served me quite well for almost 10 years. I had a situation last year where my mechanic trying to cut corners used Seahorse 20W50 for me. After a week of driving, I noticed the coarse sound coming from my engine.

Alot of us have had bad experiences with some of these Oils which have misleading labels. Let's share them here to help others learn.

Calling on the "Demeanors", Sooperrescue and Gazzuzz for their advice.

P.S. 20W50 is usually meant for older cars which are in the majority in Nigeria.

Any word on the LEG PULL issue, does same affect the CIVIC?

Doesn't affect it like the early model accords, but bad maintenance can cause even a Benz to have that leg pull.

It's not reliable. I stay at Ogba. I bought it in 2016, used it for a while and stopped subscribing. I resubscribed in January and Network is still poor. Don't think I am ready to throw money subscribing again.

Well, some budget phones have good cameras. I use the Mi A1 and I can assure you that the pictures are top notch. S7 and iPhone 7 plus level.

Ecobank is not useless. People recharge 20k worth of airtime at a go so your argument does not hold.

Your level can't fathom loading 20k airtime that's why you can't relate.

Three bush animals were caught in a forest close to my area in the early hours of Monday. The animals include African civet, grass cutter and the other one which I don't know it's name.
They were caught by traps set for them. You know where meat like these ends? of course they were used to make pepper soup.

It depends on what you want. I use the mi a1 because I want stock Android with security updates early. It's fluid and smooth. The battery lasts for a day on normal use. Mi 5x is the miui version of mi a1.

Redmi 5 plus has a bigger battery than Mi 5x but with the bigger screen, I can't say what SOT you would get. Mi 5x has a better camera and feels more premium IMHO.
