I will vehemently oppose any cynical ploy by yeroba's to annex Lagos. Lagos as we all know belongs to minority tribe called Awori.
In many previous instances, prominent Awori indigenes lambasting yeroba and Bini's over Lagos ownership, hence very laughable when group of Yoruba who migrated from Ibadan, osun and Ogun to Lagos, issue threat to other ethnic occupant of Eko to leave. The raw truth is that yeroba are migrants in Lagos likewise others.

The position of history is that they, the Awori, have the legitimate claim to the ownership of Lagos. In fact, the land where the Oba of Lagos resides was given to Oba Akinsemoyin of Lagos by the then Chief Aromire of Lagos, who was an Awori.

It is the belief of some Lagosians that Lagos history is being distorted for political reasons. Is that how you feel too?

I think and believe that the history of the original Lagosians is being distorted for political and selfish purposes. What you are currently doing will assist us to set the records straight and resolve the issue (of who the original owners of Lagos are) amicably. The Lagos monarch, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, once said Lagos belongs to the Bini. Do you agree with him?

No, I do not agree with him. He was wrong to have said that Lagos belongs to the Bini. Are you aware that during the reign of His Royal Majesty, Oba Musendiku Adeniji Adele, the late Oba of Lagos (who died in 1965), he used to speak Awori language with his chiefs? It will also interest you to know that most of the indigenes of Isale Eko and its environs were also speaking the Awori language. Besides, I was an eyewitness to that claim. In fact, my paternal grandmother, Princess Fatumo Duro-Orike Bioshogan Akinsemoyin, who was the Erelu Oba of Lagos, used to speak the Awori language. I am 72 years old; what I am telling you are facts of the history of our beloved and unique Lagos. It is an abomination to twist the history of a people for whatever reason. Let me furnish you with another important piece of information: it is interesting to note that Oba Akinsemoyin of Lagos married an Awori as a wife, who was (my) great-great-grandmother.

I am a Lagosian; I am a prince with a legitimate claim to the royalty. I am from Akinsemoyin Ruling House. I grew up in Isalegangan and Isale Eko. I used to follow my grandmother, a princess and chief of Lagos, to the Oba’s palace. My grandmother told us how her great-grandfather, Oba Akinsemoyin, went on self-exile to Apa, in the Badagry axis and married an Awori woman. I witnessed how Isale Eko indigenes used to speak the Awori language – even the traditional drummers’ drumbeats (gbedu) reverberated with songs in the Awori language.

If the Awori own the land in Lagos, the Bini, Lagos royalty – as claimed by some Lagosians – doesn’t that lend credence to the belief that Lagos is no man’s land?

Never! No, it does not. I have categorically made it clear to you that Lagos is not no man’s land – mischief-makers can say whatever they like. Yes, they can have their say, but we will have our way. Lagos belongs to the indigenes of Lagos just like everybody residing in their various villages claim to be the indigenes of those places – what is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. If people are not greedy, why should they be claiming two states of origin? Their action short-changes the (original) Lagos indigenes who have no other place to claim as their home. It is high time we adopted what is being practised in the United States of America as regards claiming to belong to one state at a time. For instance, somebody was a commissioner in Lagos State; later, he moved to his (original) state of origin to become the governor. It is unfair to Lagos indigenes.

Could that be one of the reasons some Lagosians kicked against Prof. Wole Soyinka’s choice as chairman of Lagos@50 as they felt slighted that a ‘foreigner’ was chosen ahead of many illustrious Lagos indigenes? And do you agree with them?

I agreed with those Lagosians who rejected Prof. Wole Soyinka’s choice as the chairman of Lagos@50. Lagos is blessed with people of integrity and talent; people with impeccable character and sagacity. Everyone knows that there are many qualified Lagosians for that position given to Prof. Soyinka. Tell me, could that happen in any other states in Nigeria? Do you think other people will allow that in their states? Please, let us be honest; let us be fair to one another. Which state in Nigeria could that have happened?

Some people are claiming that Lagos indigenes are being pushed away from the foreground in Lagos State’s scheme of things. Is that how you feel too?

I feel that we, Lagosians, are being marginalised and unfairly treated. They – the people who are marginalising us – are able to do this because we are in the minority and coupled with the Nigerian constitution that does not take into cognisance the interests of Lagos indigenes. My response is that the debate is healthy in order to educate the residents of Lagos – and by extension our children and our children’s children – in particular, and Nigerians in general.
Do you think the Yoruba are owners of Lagos?
Because of Lagos’ geographical position in the South-West of Nigeria – which is predominantly Yoruba – it doesn’t make the Yoruba owners of Lagos. It is a fact that most of these Yoruba have their own states of origin (other than Lagos State).
Since Lagos does not belong to the Yoruba, are the Bini the original owners of Lagos?
Not at all! Lagos never belonged to the Bini. Only the monarch came from Benin, that is, Ashipa, the father of the first Oba of Lagos (King Ado).
So, who does Lagos belong to? Do you think it belongs to the Awori?
Yes, it belongs to them. The Awori are the owners of Lagos. The Awori and the Bini are not the same. The Awori, being the first settlers, came through the hinterland and have their own language – apparently different from that of the Bini language – and, which is closer to the Yoruba than to the Bini. In fact, the Awori believe that they are sons and daughters of Oduduwa.

WE SHOULD ALL FIGHT TO RESTORE BIAFRA

The name Biafra does not only reflects a territorial region seeking complete and total independence, as it was before, in order to actualize her full potentials, Biafra has transcended into metaphorical narratives for justice, freedom and human civilization.

To those whose ancestry claims its root within the boundaries of Biafra as defined by our mothers when they tie two-piece wrapper, Biafra is our root and we are going back to our root. To those in diaspora who escaped the "pressure pot" called Nigeria in search of greener pastures, Biafra is home and there is no place like home. To those who have been oppressed by political cum economic subjugation coupled with state sponsored terrorism beyond expression, Biafra is the light on a high mountain that radiates its light on the oppressed in order to let the world know their plights. And to those whose parentage is not linked to Biafra or its boundaries, Biafra is the hope of honor, dignity and civility for a black man, especially in a darkened continent of Africa.

When I realized that I could talk about topical issues of great concern, I decided to talk about Biafra. And whenever I talked about Biafra, I was often told that if I had seen the war, I wouldn't be talking about Biafra. And I asked myself, 'does Biafra means war?' I could have asked my father, because he fought for Biafra during the war. Unlike his peers who were conscripted into Biafra Army during the war, my father joined the army as a volunteer despite the fact that he was the only son. Perhaps, he could have answered my question quite better had death allowed him, especially now that I'm sensitive enough to assimilate such narrative. So I decided to seek answers for myself from other sources and I ended up reading books/accounts on Biafra War.

I read 'Half Of A Yellow Sun' by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and I felt the devastation, disconnection and hunger that comes with war. Although, the hunger was intentionally introduced by the enemy of Biafra through complete and total blockade which they justified as weapon of war. I read 'There Was A Country' by Chinua Achebe and I saw a Biafra that was struggling to survive existential threat and ethnic cleansing. I read 'In Biafra Africa Died' by Emefiena Ezeani and I saw the ingenuity of Biafra, I saw a Biafra that was forced into unprecedented technological revolution as a result of necessity and I saw a Biafra that was ready to take a place in global politics and economy with unimaginable speed. I read 'The Nigerian Revolution and The Biafran War' by Alexander A. Madiebo and I saw the cause of the war. I saw the reason why the 1966 boys struck and I saw what they intended. I went further to read 'The Biafra Story' by Frederick Forsyth and I saw Britain fighting a proxy war with Biafra. In fact, according to Forsyth, he said and I quote "Thirty four years ago Emeka Ojukwu tried to give his people something better, and Britain, more than any other, destroyed the chance." - Frederick Forsyth, 2001.
In all these reads, all I could see was a Biafra that wanted to survive; a Biafra that wanted to have a chance to exist even with the worse living conditions on earth. This Biafra was willing to try; and this Biafra tried for 30 months before she got extinguished. I didn't see a Biafra that went into war in order to conquer or dominate others, so Biafra didn't mean war. Rather I see a Biafra that survived a genocide, therefore Biafra means survival.

Today, this Biafra has come again to remind the entirety of humanity that what she endured 53 years ago within her shortest time of 30 months of trying to exist was actually 'a global conspiracy' not to have a Japan in Africa. This Biafra is telling humanity of 21st century that what transpired between 1967 - 1970 cannot be allowed to happen again. This Biafra is asking international and global communities: "if what the people of Tutsi suffered in the hands of Hutu by loosing five hundred to one million people was globally recognized as Rwandan Genocide, what then should we call the loss of over five million Biafrans to Nigeria?" Until this question is addressed holistically, and very sincerely, Biafra is holding the world to account, Biafra is telling the world to bear witness to her story and Biafra is saying to the world "YOU CAN'T KEEP SILENT AGAIN WHILE WE DIE."

Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu was the face of Biafra between 67-70, and of course he will remain "the eternal face of Biafra." Today, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is the new face of Biafra and through his leadership of IPOB, the world has known that Biafrans are everywhere. This coordinated global presence of Biafrans is not by chance, although some may liken it to chance but I choose to disagree.

I would rather say that it is by providence that Biafrans are globally coordinated under 'One Almighty IPOB' for a time like this. A time like this when our ancestral lands are being occupied by the enemies of Biafra. A time like this when the blessed land of Biafra has been over-polluted with charlatans who appear in leadership positions only to service their needs and remain subservient to the Sultanate of Sokoto. A time like this when Biafra boundaries have been gerrymandered by the enemies of Biafra so as to set perpetual hatred and division amongst a once united family. A time like this when our mothers and sisters are either raped or killed in their farms. A time like this when our fathers are no longer in contact with their boldness and confidence due fierce force of intimidation and blackmail. A time like this when the safety of our businesses and properties are no longer guaranteed.

And so, at this very horrible time of our existence, we must realize that 'We Should All Fight To Restore Biafra!' Because if we do not fight, we have everything to loose. And if we fight, as Elohim has been guiding us, we have everything to win. Our global presence is huge asset to us; and overwhelmingly, IPOB leadership has utilized it to raise the consciousness of the global community on Biafra. The world now know that there is a 'Biafra Case' in Africa that needs urgent attention.

To those people who feel that IPOB/Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is not the messiah that they have been waiting for, I want to remind you that even Jesus Christ, when he came, some people, especially the Jews never believed that he was the messiah. And when He stepped on the religious/societal toes of Jewish paradigms through his approaches and methods, they went agog and their repugnant stance on him seemed justified as they seek his head. But at the end, Jesus Christ saved very many of them. And today, we all celebrate and praise Him as The King Of Glory.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will NOT be The King Of Glory, if that is your reason for not fighting for Biafra. He may be another saviour but certainly, not The King of Glory. You have no reason not to fight for Biafra, because fighting for Biafra means fighting for survival and every living being in every environment, conducive or unconducive environment, wants to survive. Having known that Nigeria is unconducive for survival of an average Biafran, what then are you waiting for? Fight!

Now to fight for Biafra does not necessarily mean that you must be a family member of IPOB which you are already by default based on two-piece wrapper tied by your mother, you can fight for Biafra in multiple ways. When you see the truth and acknowledge the truth, you are fighting for Biafra. When you seek and acknowledge justice, you are fighting for Biafra. When you acknowledge that self-determination is a universal right of indigenous peoples just as Jonathan Cooper of The UK has done, you are fighting for Biafra. When you acknowledge that IPOB/Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is justified to seek the division of Nigeria, you are fighting for Biafra. When you get upset and report, if you can, the atrocious desecration of Biafra land, you are fighting for Biafra. MY EYE WITNESS ACCOUNT ON MAZI NNAMDI KANU'S TRIAL.

His boldness and courage in Radio Biafra Studio was the same while in DSS custody, Prisons and during his appearances in Court .

He was a terror to DSS personnel , Prison Police and the entire Court's staff.

He appeared before the then Chief Magistrate Zone 2 , Wuse, Abuja, Justice A.R Mohammed, Justice Ademola, Justice John Tsoho and Justice Binta Nyako (All of the Federal High Court) , He was very firm and explosive about his convictions.

We beat the Federal Government Lawyers hands down in all the Courts.

His presence at the Federal High Court Abuja Complex was accompanied by this uncommon thunderous force that set every staff on fire and drove fear into every bone , including the Joint Armed Forces drafted by the government.

He was never intimidated into silence until we secured his bail in Justice Binta Nyako's Court.

He refused to leave Prison , insisting that he was not going anywhere except they release other three worriors with him.(even after spending 18 months of torture in the dark cell of the DSS).

We persuaded him with cogent and convincing reasons and repeatedly assured him that we will also secure the release of Chidiebere, Benjamin, David and Bright Chimezie.

He only agreed to exit Prison when we told him of the role his voice outside Prison will play in mobilizing global sympathy in favour of the other four heroes.

He persisted in his campaign while outside custody ....

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has been consistently RIGHT, but got it wrong somewhere.

He got it wrong when he dished out the Undiluted Truth in its large quantity at a time.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu would have first called Nigeria, a Den or British Dungeon, when it sinks, he advances into the tag "ZOO".
After which he picks the name of One or Two animals, then tag Nigerian Citizens Dogs and Baboons like Muhamadu Buhari did in 2012, then proceed to Hyenas and Jackals like Aisha Buhari in 2017, before advancing to the general description ANIMALS.

Just like Israelites and other Civilised World believes Inventions can grant solution to problems, The Black Man is programmed to believe, #2000 Anointing Oil kills Armed Robbers.

The Truth is too alien to Black Nigerians, thus Biafrans tutored by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu are the only individuals ready to assimilate, discern rightly and get Biafra restored.

THE THREE CARDINAL SINS OF GEN. GOWON AND WHY HE IS SILENT OVER FULANI HERDSMEN

Gen. Yakubu Gowon in 1967 thought he could invade Enugu, arrest Ojukwu and place him on trial. A mission he could not accomplish in 3 three years.

As soon as Gowon realized that Gen. Ojukwu and his boys were not smiling or easy to conquer, Gowon committed 3 crimes against Nigerians just to win the war. These are the sins of Gowon that are affecting Nigerians today.

1. THE GODOGODO

Gowon and his supreme military council thought it would be easy to walk over Biafra and capture Ojukwu so they decided to launch attack on Enugu to capture Ojukwu. That attempt met with stiff resistance from unarmed youths to the surprise of Gowon and his army.

Mauritala, that beast and a bigot in his zealousness made 2 attempts to take over Onitsha but was successfully stopped by Ojukwu soldiers. This frustration led to a quick fix that would lead to the worst pact with the devil himself.

In other to aid the federal army, Mauritala Mohammed convinced Gowon to bring the foreign militias called the godogodo people to fight Biafra. Those who lived or witnessed and or fought in the civil war are not strange to the atrocities of these people.

They were heartless militias paid to kill and praised for their ruthlessness. Although the Godogodo people were not trained professional regular soldiers, their duty was to do the military’s dirty job.

Massacre civilians, rape and slaughter the already conquered people with hatchet, axe and other dangerous instruments. They are also experts in torture. Anywhere the federal troop’s conquered, they will bring the godogodo people to finish off the civilians.

So in some instances the civilians were warned to flee the cities before the godogodo people would arrive. These Godogodo people were not repatriated after the civil war. Most of them settled in northern Nigeria. The government lost control of them.

It is the same Godogodo militias that constitute today’s Fulani herdsmen terrorist group. Those in the east who witnessed the war will testify about the Godogodo people named after a village in Kaduna of today.

So The Fulani herdsmen are the offshoot or the continuation of the Godogodo people Gowon brought to Nigeria to kill Biafrans. Today they have become the errant virus that eats what it was supposed to protect.

2. Months into the war, Gowon saw that Biafra could not be conquered unless Port Harcourt fell into federal hands, so he went into pact with the president of Cameron. In the pact, Gowon pledged Bakassi peninsula in exchange if Cameron allowed Nigeria to use its sea route to get to Port Harcourt.

We are all aware of how many innocent people that died since the war ended because of this pact. Today the entire people of Bakassi are displaced and no one is talking about them.

3. THE GRAZING ROUTE.

When Gowon and his military found out that Biafra is not a pushover, he entered into another contract. This time he went to Niger for the help of the Arabs in Africa. In other for Chad and Niger to give the federal government the help they sought, Niger and its allies, Benin republic and Chad Fulanis stated their conditions.

That condition was to grant to the Fulani nomads a grazing route from Niger to the Eastern Nigeria. Again Gowon without brains accepted this demand and signed off the arable land of Nigeria to the Fulanis for grazing.

Now if you have been listening or reading what the leaders of Miyatti Allah have been saying you would notice one constant claim. They insist that there is international document that granted them grazing route from Niger to Eastern Nigeria.

Of all those banning the open grazing, no one has challenged this claim. Did such document exist? Who are the signatories? Was it rectified after the war in which Gown and the supreme military council was in charge for 6 years after the war?

Now we can see why those who fought the civil war and looted Nigeria thereafter are criminally silent over this predicament. The Fulanis claim that Allah gave them our ancestral land to graze. It is clear who the Allah is… Gen. Yakubu Gowon is the Allah that gave our land to the Fulanis.

The fact staring us in the face now is that the federal government cannot and will not protect us. Unless we resist this as one robbed people these vampires will suck us dry.

They are brutes and experts in fiendish diplomacy, so dialoguing with them or making any pact with them is a waste of time. They understand one language, violence, brute force, like the vampires if you do not overwhelm them with brute force they will never stop coming.

Arise people of Nigeria and resist this slavery Gowon signed us into. As for those who felt they defeated Biafra, how far?

As for those clamouring for true federalism or restructuring, none will solve this problem. The only solution is to kill Nigeria. Total disintegration will resolve this nonsense as each nation will make its own laws and protect its territorial integrity.
