PDP all the way |
Edo pays the highest minimum wage (40,000) in Nigeria. We can now boast of our source of electricity, Osiomo power plant which powers all government offices, street lights and some private institutions. We can boast of our own refineries ( they are now 2 as we speak). Edo workers and pensioners receive their salaries and pensions as at when due. Workers get promoted as at the due time. We can now boast of a tech hub where over 100, 000 youths have been trained on 21st century ICT skills. Our market women can now sell without the lions and tigers molesting them. Our children are receiving the best of Education through Edobest and many more.... All these have been possible under the leadership of Governor Obaseki and PDP. We will support the governor and vote PDP for sustainability and progress. |
Governor Obaseki politically is upright and ensures that the will of the people triumphs. That is why he ensured that no election in Edo is rigged. That can also be seen in last Saturday's election. We know what other states did. Yes, the election was far from perfect but we know for a fact that Governor Godwin Obaseki cannot be found wanting in any of the irregularities of that process. That is Governor Godwin Obaseki's principle. Nonetheless, while we seek the redress we desire, we must not lose sight of the antics of the APC and how they may take advantage of the seeming 'drudgery' to gain access to the House of Assembly. On March 11, we must work together and not at cross purposes to ensure the moral rectitude of Governor Obaseki is rewarded and tell APC again that EDO NO BE LAGOS. |
Obaseki should be commended for not interfering with the people’s mandate unlike his counterparts in other state. He’s always placed the welfare of the people at number one priority. He has placed Edo high up in the ranks of developmental strides. The PDP candidates are young, vibrant and in the race to win. |
APC has no place in Edo. No more going back to Egypt |
APC is in a futile journey. Edo people will rally behind governor Obaseki |
We’re happy with obaseki. His developmental strides in the state has no measure. |
Poorly scripted propaganda. Edo people are wise and would never settle for APC who massively rigged the election to their favour. Gov Obaseki should be commended for allowing the will of Edo people to prevail despite the voters oppression and rigging by his counterparts. APC is fighting a lost cause and trying to sway obidients to your antics is ridiculous. PDP has shown commitment to good governance and has a track record of implementing policies and projects that benefit the people. I strongly urge all Edolites to vote PDP all through for continuity, growth and stability. |
Edo vehemently rejected the lions and tigers in 2020 and won’t hesitate to repeat same next Saturday. |
Governor Obaseki has done well for Edo. Let’s vote PDP for continuity, growth and stability |
Gov Obaseki is the best thing that have ever happen to Edo state. |
Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has made significant strides especially in the areas of education, technology, and energy since his election in 2016. His developmental projects and policies have been aimed at improving the living standards of the people and transforming the state into a thriving hub of technology, education, and energy. One of Governor Obaseki's most notable achievements is the introduction of the Edo Basic Education Sector Transformation (EdoBEST) programme, which has revolutionized the education sector in the state. The program has brought about significant improvements in the quality of teaching, learning outcomes, and infrastructure in primary schools across the state. With the EdoBEST program, the state has been able to provide teachers with necessary tools and training for effective teaching, making primary school education free and compulsory for all children in the state. In the technology sector, Governor Obaseki has made significant strides by establishing the Edo Innovation Hub. The innovation hub is aimed at creating an enabling environment for young entrepreneurs, start-ups, and tech enthusiasts to thrive. The hub provides support, mentorship, and access to resources that enable tech startups and businesses to grow and develop. The innovation hub has been instrumental in positioning Edo State as a tech hub in Nigeria, with several tech startups emerging from the hub. Governor Obaseki has also made significant strides in the energy sector by establishing the Osiomo Power Plant and the Edo Modular Refinery. The Osiomo Power Plant has a capacity of 55MW and provides electricity to government institutions, and some private companies, and powers all streetlights across the state. The Edo Modular Refinery has a capacity of 6000 barrels per day and has helped in job creation and reduce the state's dependence on imported petroleum products. In light of these achievements, it is evident that Governor Obaseki's developmental strides have been geared towards transforming Edo State into a hub of innovation, education, energy and self sufficiency. His policies and projects have brought about significant improvements in the living standards of the people of Edo State, and his commitment to good governance and transparency have earned him the trust and admiration of many. As the state prepares for the upcoming House of Assembly elections, it is imperative that the people of Edo State vote for the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The PDP has demonstrated a commitment to good governance and has a track record of implementing policies and projects that benefit the people. With the PDP at the helm of affairs, Edo State can continue on the path of progress and development, and the people can be assured of a brighter future.

I urge the good people of Edo to vote PDP for growth, consistency and stability |
Poorly drafted propaganda. Gov Obaseki stands out amongst other governors in Nigeria. He allowed the will of the good people of Edo to prevail unlike his counterparts who rigged the election to boost their political ego. |
NgeneUkwenu:it is obvious you are not from Edo state. |
