princeemmma:A lot of courses, like International relations, creative arts, educational courses and so, you'd just have to read very well for your Jamb and Post Utme and you have to choose less competitive schools |
When some people comment and say what these guys are doing is for the benefit of Nigerian educational sector and the student body, I sigh and hope that one day we get enlightenment. These guys are after nothing but their pockets, they keep on going on several headless strikes just to satisfy their personal needs, keeping students at home. Most of their children are not in public Universities, and that is why they are not bothered by it. They said they want an improvement in the education of the country, but they are also part of the things dragging the educational sector down. They are just another sets of corrupt politicians. This country is not ready for anything, right now, not even to bear its name. I pray one day we will get ourselves out of the mess we placed ourselves, and pray that we don't drown before we do |
Gmajor:His current Cgpa does not mean he had a carryover. I'm taking from experience man |
davbravo:It's not false hope bruv, it's possible if he knows how to go about it |
Still, most of them won't take time to read through this. When Buhari said that Nigerian Youths were lazy (apologies to the hard working ones) there was an uproar and youths were aggravated by the statement, but take a look at things today, we live in a country where youths do not want to work any longer, most of them prefer to sit in their homes, sleeping and slumbering while their account keeps growing, they prefer to find money the illegal way because their friends are getting Money through it. Really pathetic |
Why keep students at home, when you know that every time you go on strike it's always futile and you have to just reschedule another date for it? They should be more concern on finding a Minister of education that can speak for them. Where is the minister of education since they started this strike?? |
Full list on their website |
If he is determined to, he can, but it won't be easy. Cgpa is calculated accumulatively and there are ways can rig it to favor him |
Juliearth:I doubt that, but if that's the case, they don't need to call it off then, it would give the students that are trying to make more money more time to |
It's likely they call it off today, but that won't stop more strikes from happening, unless they fix the issue at ground and that is paying more attention to the educational system |
I don't think it's possible, you will always fall victim until you find a genuine one |
And what about ASUU?? |
