pls house I need your help, I have HND (upper credit) and PGD in Accounting. I am also a Chartered Accountant (ACA) but want to obtain BSc in Accounting from NOUN. How do I go about the admission process and what level can I be offered admission into. Thanks
You will start from 200level. hope you did Accounting in you HND? because for a direct entry , it is a requirement in NOUN to apply for the course or related course you did in your OND or HND.

how true is noun nysc participation?
any latest development?
The latest development on NYSC on NOUN is that as at today, NYSC have not mobilized NOUN undergraduates for service.

i tried to login like how you said but its saying my matric number is wrong.i sent it to u mr franklyn but i av not heard frm you.
i didnt do any registration then after they gave me my matric number so i dnt knw if its affecting it.This is the number they wrote on my admission letter NOU090233432.pls i need your help to rectify dis so i would know how to proceed.thank u
I just tried it and I got the same error message.
It maybe that the system analysts copied a wrong number or there is a typo somewhere. Trust me, this has happened to many students even to some folks that got admission this semester.
What they did was to go back to the guy that issued the matric number and rectify the stuff.
Most times, it's caused by the network at the moment when your matriculation number is been spooled.
Brother, you have to visit the study Centre. It's no big problem.

Thanks so much Franklyn4 for your response. I think i'd just write the letter of deferment. And if i do, will i still pay the composary fee for the next semester?

Good day NOUNITES, exams starts on Tuesday and from the timetable, I have exams on some days that I may not be able to write due to some reasons, meanwhile, this is (supposedly) my final semester for PGD info tech. my question is, is there any avenue where one can write an exams they've missed at NOUN or do I have to wait for the next semester to write the courses?

thanks for your anticipated responses
There is no other Avenue to write a missed exam. Unless the school management say so but and it's not always for a single student..
What you might want to do now is to go to your study Centre with your reasons so that you can drop the courses for exam and have your money returned to your portal.
Another thing you may want to do, is to write letter of exam deferment so that you can enter exam hall next semester and write it as a current exam.
If you did not do any of these, after your exams the system will drop all the courses you registered for exam without refund. It means you have to re-register the courses for exams.
The whole Jake is that you may need to write your courses next semester.

Thanks Franklyn4... Please is d compulsory payment paid every semester? Can sum1 pls tell me how much is paid for course registration n examination... Thank you
Yes the compulsory payment is every semester.
As an undergraduate, and after you must have paid your first compulsory payment as a fresh student which is (36k).
And as an undergraduate - returning student, for every first semester, the compulsory payment is 23k and for every second semester it's 13k.
For every course you want to register, if it's a 3credit unit course, it =N2500
2 credit unit course =N2000
Exam registration N1000 flat per course registered or to be registered for exam.

If not still cleared, meet the registra of your study Centre or speak to a known staff face to face.

Thanks for the responds. Please again, is it a lump sum payment or can I pay in bits? Finally, if I purchase my form now, when am I likely to start my first semester? Thank you.
for the PGD, you will pay a minimum of 40k for your first payment (compulsory payment ). Then, you can pay the remaining in bits, which will be used for your exam and course registrations.

If you purchase the form now, you will likely start around June/July.
The form as you may have known is N7,500. and you must generate a remita pin from the application form site application.noun.Edu.Ng
Before proceeding to the bank for the form purchase.

Afternoon ppl, i'm interested in putting in for Noun through DE using Ond bt i don't see Business Administration in d list of Undergraduates Courses. Please, Is it similar/same as Entrepreneurial and Business Management?
Hi, Business Administration Is Different From Entrepreneur Studies. If You Check Recently In Application Form, Business Administration Is The Third In The List Of Courses To Apply For Under The School Of Management Sciences. Just So You Know, Its Now Entrepreneur Studies And No Longer (Entrepreneur /Business Management )

Please anyone with useful info., I am an intending computer science student. I have paid the required registration fee of N5,000 last two weeks at one FCMB branch in Osogbo and was given a receipt. But since then, I've been having problem accessing application/registration form online. Each time I tried to login, it keeps saying 'Invalid Login Parameter'

IT'S A PROBLEM FROM REMITA SITE. YOUR LOGIN PARAMETERS ARE STILL OK IF YO HAVE INPUT THEM CORRECTLY.
BUT FROM NOW THROUGH TUESDAY, THE MONEY WILL DROP AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ACCESS YOUR APPLICATION FORM. IF NOT, MEET THE ACCOUNTANT OF YOUR STUDY CENTRE.

HOPE IT HELPS

1) OND with Upper Credit from a recognized Institution can dexterously apply for DE.

2) Due to its flexible learning (Mission Statement), you do not need to apply again. You can precisely continue from where you stopped.

Welcome Back!
BROTHER YOU CAN CONTINUE FROM WHERE YOU STOPED. IT'S SO FLEXIBLE
