What if the so called 'pretender' was also pretending towards the other partner to know whether he/she is a pretender? The world is not perfect anyway -for now. As pastor Poju of Insights for Living said, 'The world is not the way you THINK it is. The world is the way it is.'

Wisdom is turning off the generator before adding petrol. Foolishness is doing otherwise.

Wisdom is not substituting petrol for kerosene in a stove. Foolishness is doing so.

Wisdom is adding spices, salt and maggi to the food before it is cooked not after. :-)

Wisdom is looking at all these and writing something for someone to understand the wise thing to do. Foolishness is doing otherwise -hoarding up (wise) knowledge only for yourself.

For a real man, loving a woman is beyond a beautiful

What is the opposite of 'social media'? Isn't Nairaland a social media? What are anti-social people doing on it? What are examples of such sites that are not social medias so that 'aunty social' and 'uncle social' people could be directed to? :-)

He has spoken and nothing can change it by will power for His promises are yea and amen.
Have you spoken in prayer with Him today? Nothing is beyond Him. Hallelujah.

A joke I read somewhere says 'Love is blind but marriage is an eye-opener'. If God is the centre of the marriage (He instituted marriage in the garden of Eden), and there is mutual agreement, cooperation, compactibilty in different areas, the marriage will be good.

"You be thief! You stole my heart."
Doesn't this show that love is a crime? When a person steals your heart, shouldn't that person remain in the custody of your love? This love really is blind. Did you not see when the person was stealing your heart?

Christ would not steal your heart. His heart bled with love for you. He tells you in Proverbs 23:26 "My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways."

Will you give Him your heart at this present moment? He will not force you. A thief is he that would not give back to the rightful owner his possession. He is the owner of your life. One day He will come as a thief (Rev. 3:3, 16:15) but it is not to steal your heart but it is also to translate the surrendered hearts and souls to His glorious kingdom. 1 John 4:19 "We love him, because he first loved us."

His birth brought joy to the world. His death gave us life and more abundantly. His birth brought his personal presence to mostly the lost sheep of the house of Isreal. His death brought the presence and power of the Comforter, the Holy Spirit to every child of God, Jews and Gentiles alike. If He had lived forever in flesh, we would have died forever on the other side of eternity, seperated from God, having never had remission of sins.

He gave his life for us that we might live. His death reconciled us to God, breaking down the middle wall of partition.

Through his birth and presence, he blessed, healed and delivered the people then present. Through his death and even in his physical absence but spiritual presence, men, past and also this present time, are still being healed by his stripes, blessed with all spiritual blessings, delivered from the powers of darkness, and more importantly being saved by His grace, (harvested unto life eternal), through faith in his name, after the finished work of redemption. Glory to God.

And why is Christmas associated with some material things? Christmas goat or chicken (and not Christmas bush rat), Christmas cap, Christmas light, Christmas gift, Christmas tree and even father Christmas? Is this how we were told in the scriptures to celebrate it, if actually we were told to celebrate it?
