The aim of dangote building a refinery was to receive crude from Niger delta, refine it and make fuel, kerosene and diesel cheaper than imported ones and save Nigeria trillions of naira in loss to petroleum importation. Why would same dangote now need a large chunk of the country’s foreign exchange to import petroleum products from overseas at rates subsidized by FG for a completed refinery, similar to what petroleum marketers have done in the past more than 20 years?

No fewer than two student(Resturant attendant and a customer) were kidnapped yesterday being 1st April 2024 in front of Ranok Estate Wukari , Taraba State, Along Kastina-Ala road. The kidnappers came in their numbers and were shooting sporadically until they pickup a girle(Chiwendu)and a guy, they whisky them away to a nearby forest behind Ranok Estate. It happened Along Kastina-Ala Expressway less than 100 meter to A police/civil defense Checking point, they were reportedly kidnapped by gunmen suspected to be bandits in wukari, Taraba state.
the students mostly youths were seated at the Resturant to buy and eat her food, only to hear gun shots and were trapped inside the restaurant shop.
‘’ The youths who were between 22 and 24 of age relaxing at the Resturant in front of Ranok Estate ,Wukari at about 9:20pm were kidnapped by a group of gunmen.the university management have been notified.
Channel TV representative have also interview some eye witness.

The restaurant owner, Moses Tapwa, was lucky to have escaped but two of his staff who are students of the institution were not lucky.

The two students abducted were identified as Joshua Sardauna from Economics Department and Chiwendu Elizabeth of Microbiology Department.

The authorities of the school said they were aware of the incident and have commenced efforts to ensure safe release of the students.
