myjoy08: I have to congratulate team Transcorp, Ubcap, Fcmb, Fidelity, Uba etc. once again. Enjoy your loots ooooo! Thank you Myjoy! Of all my holdings, Fidelity was less promising. But am happy I bought at @ 1.18 and still patiently waiting for it to touch 2.0 before I off- load. I hope it gets there anytime soon. |

PETERiCHY: If you buy FCMB or SKYE above #2:00k you are on your own. as per FBN is already saturated. Forget the market noise Smart traders are simply recouping their investment before the D day. Don't say you were not warned. . Correct! |

Born2berich: Rule number 1: Buy low sell high. No sir. I beg to differ with you! Your rule only apply to long term investors. The best rule for short term is to Buy high and sell higher. Buying when the prices are falling is like trying to catch a falling knife. |

Born2berich: I actually thought i was the only one who noticed..At a point it was as if it was only sterling that was been traded..Am still not interested though. Right now am patiently waiting for some to come to my junction as usual.
Patience is a virtue. Am not interested too. But the traffic on that stock aroused my curiosity! My brother this ''your junction''eehhh. Its always advisable to get in when they prices are going north than south. |

Aks: You are so on point.
@FrankTalk1, Cutting loss @ 8% is easier said than done. I have been in this shoe b4 and i know it My brother I too have been there several times. Even if your portfolio is made of fundamentally strong company, putting down your pride and being bold enough to cutting your losses at an early stage is the most sensible thing to do EXCEPT IF YOU ARE WILLING TO ALLOW YOUR MONEY TO BE TIED DOWN FOR A LONG TIME. Time is what we are looking at here! It is far easier and faster to recover from an 8% loss and even go ahead to make profits by entering into another deal, than it is from a 55% loss! The problem with many of us is that we get too emotionally attached to our holding and find it difficult to let go even when we see that we are progressively loosing money. We are all in this market to make money and that should be your focus and therefore to achieve this, you should always try to minimize your losses and lockdown your gains before they disappear. Disclaimer: This is just my personal strategy which works for me. Several persons have their own strategy. Do whatever suits you investment goal. |

bigass: A friend just told me she lost 5.5 million. She invested 10 million last year in NSE now her portfolio is worth 4.5 million. Trade with care oooo I think she never kept an eye on her portfolio. If she did, she could not have allowed it to turn out into a major loss - a whooping 55% loss. Many experts always advise to sell your holding when you have made a progressive loss of no more than 8%. ( Or sell when you have made a profit of 20 - 25% ). However if she is in it for the long run - say years, then she shouldn't be too bothered about it since there could be a come-back after all - although it may take a long time. |

Akinmail: I was caught in transcorp sha. Couldn't JIJO out.
Looking at dangcement. Nice company all round. Big enough for JIJO.
Juicy enough for medium term hold.
52 week range of Dangcement is 151.1 - 250 Current price is 152 naira
These are the things involved. .. 1. For dangcement to go back to 200 and above the general mood of the market must have changed and there should be an upward swing.
2. There will be some sort of bull period immediately after this bear and dangcement will be leading the park. I will definitely be in for the JIJO.
3. Dangcement will definitely go back to 200 naira and above in the long term. I REPEAT DANGCEMENT WILL GO BACK TO 200 AND ABOVE! !!
4. This is the holy grail of investment. HAVING KNOWLEDGE OF A SURE EVENT. DANGCEMENT GOING BACK TO 200 AND ABOVE IS A SURE EVENT.
5. If I ever need a "cleaning service" then I'll definitely call Mr. Chogon
6. I am the king of the Bulls and the Bears and the gentiles. If this trend continue, we may even get it at below 100 . At least it sold for 145 today. |

myjoy08: Sir, you can't buy all. I will advise that your focus should be directed between 3-5 companies. Too much of this buy will be a distractions. Thanks a lot. I am just strengthening my positions by getting more holdings in the companies that I already have a stake in. However, the give away prices in the market now are just alluring and almost irresistible!!! Given the current state of the market and from your analysis please what companies attract you? |

Aks: My advise to those @ the receiving end of this BEAR is to HOLD on and not sell for now. If you are a good student on NSE, you will discover that after BEAR of few days, BULL will definitely surface. I won't be surprised if we see Rally by Thursday Thanks bro. Good advice. But some experts advice setting and selling at a stop-loss point of 6 - 8% loss. With a view to re- entering at a much lower price should the bear continue. What do you think? |
