As usual, the press is trying to misrepresent the court judgement. The high court struck out the matter in-line with the Judgement of the Supreme Court that clearly states that courts lack the jurisdiction to entertain issues relating to the internal affairs of Political Parties and nothing else.

Even though INEC filed an affidavit claiming Abure’s tenure has expired, the commission also clearly stated that the party has no recognized national chairman and Secretary that the commission can relate with. By implication, INEC has not recognized both Abure and Nenadi Usman.

I thought as much, found it weird that a lower court will give a counter rule on something the supreme Court already decided on

The main issue seems to be that MTN especially uses a foreign firm (south African of course) to provide the airtime loans to customers, so really when you take an airtime loan from MTN Nigeria it is an SA firm actually loaning you the airtime and sharing profit with MTN.

I am guessing the law they want to pass will make it mandatory for TELCOS to use Nigerian firms to backup the loans, which of course is better for us as a nation.

There was already an altercation between the hostess with the girl from departure but the girl felt she should deal with the hostess on arrival. So she went to confront her. Yes they deboarded it is normal to deboard a plane when you have gotten to your destination.

Maybe you watched a different video, the one I watched showed the hostess stopping the girl from deboarding when everyone else had already deboarded. From that video, seemed it was the hostess that decided to confront the girl not the other way round

Goodluck Jonathan Visits Azikel Refinery in Bayelsa, Commends Progress

Former President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, on Monday visited the Azikel Group Base and the Azikel Refinery in Gbarain, Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, to assess the progress of work and encourage the workforce.

He was received by the Group President, Dr. Eruani Azibapu, who led him and his entourage through the refinery’s ISBL base unit, which is now 90% complete.

Goodluck Jonathan expressed delight at the level of progress recorded so far and :oinspected the newly acquired helicopters, which will be used for project supervision and guest transportation to the refinery site.

Speaking during the visit, Dr. Eruani assured the former president that the Azikel Refinery, upon completion, would contribute significantly to Nigeria’s energy supply, starting with Bayelsa State.

Ibom Air is a national disgrace. The trending video is clear: an air hostess blocked a female passenger from leaving, stalled her for security, then she was whisked away down the plane stairs like a criminal. And you, the so-called “witness,” try to sugarcoat it like it’s nothing.

If that woman was your fiancée, wife, sister, aunt, colleague or even your crush, would you still be defending this crooked airline? Or is your loyalty for sale to whoever pays you to do online damage control?

Reports say one of their shameless staff even untied the woman’s top during the scuffle, exposing her chest for the internet to see. That is not protocol. That is criminal.

The “threat on board” story is laughable. Her only “crime” was refusing to switch off a phone already on flight mode. In 20 years of flying, I have seen passengers ignore that rule countless times. Never has it led to assault and stripping. Only these untrained, half-illiterate hostesses could turn something so minor into abuse.

This is the same airline that delayed a flight just to wait for the forgotten luggage of a political mistress, leaving hundreds stranded. Ibom Air serves the powerful and tramples the rest.

If Keyamo and Tinubu have any shame, they will summon this management for justice. If not, Nigerians should be ready. This is just the beginning of the hell local airlines will put them through.

Exactly my point ☝️, I've never seen where that 'rule' was enforced, as long as phone is on flight mode, everything should have been fine. The air hostess clearly had it in for the girl, probably cause she was rude.... obviously the girl no too get manners but that should not matter at all, the air hostess should have deescalated, instead na she escalate everything

It shows you never reach arport before. A lot of characters and activities take place or do you know people send message through airline the same way you send message through commercial bus.

Every passenger had already deboarded at that point from what I saw in the videos online, had to be a staff of the airport, whether ibom air or not.
