Mmmm... billion naira cashout for UGM, but the part wey sweet my belle na Meanwhile, the three policemen with them escaped. But I wan make kidnappers catch Akpabio or Natasha or even Reno. I wan check something. Nigeria government and elites go only take kidnapping seriously when na dem go dey pay ransom. How I wish like 37 different Evans fit emerge for the 37 states? Dem catch Evans the kidnapper go lock am up na because na elite and top business people im dey kidnap. Evans no dey kidnap poor person as na Euro/dollars im dey collect, not naira. But the kidnappers over the past years have been kidnapping poor travellers, farmers, students, patients, NYSC etc. As paupers were being killed 2015-2023, the government and elite cared less. These past 2 years 2023-2025 have shown a trend of kidnapping elite - political, business, education, military. They recently collected 100m from the Abia state HOA member and still killed him. Let the kidnappers continue kidnapping the Nigerian elite and collect the embezzled funds from them and still kill dem after ransom collection. I believe this is only thing that can wake up the government and elite to tackle dis kidnapping business. |

While I don't support men beating women, I have legitly seen a woman slap a man repeatedly over a trivial issue...while still running her mouth. What's the issue? It's a queue issue and the man came before the woman and disallowed her from trying to double-cross him by using the person in the front of the man as an excuse that that person allowed her to stay in the front. The man was like: "if the person in the front allowed you to stay in front, then he has forfeit his position for you and one person must go to the back. I've been standing for 30mins and won't tolerate being cheated." The lady started with "I will enter this line and there is nothing you can do... because I am even cool. Wo, me I dey mad too o. I've been talking politely at least. Come and beat me naw, since you bi woman beater." She come enter the line. The person who allowed her just minded his business and refused to even talk. Omo, as she entered, the argument got heated up as the main man insisted he won't allow it unless the good Samaritan forfeited his position. Na so this woman begin chochocho...like typewriter. The main man even stopped talking and she became more furious. The man just stood gigiban for the line to prevent illegal entrance. Next thing we had was TAAAWAAI. Omo, the man held himself and told her he would only respect her this once because she's a woman. Before he could finish, TAWAAAIII! Me I was caught in the moment, before you could say Peter Obi, this man don forget headbutt for this woman face naso she fall. We come rush hold the man o before en kill parrot. chatinent: |

Did you know these everyday things actually have names? 1. The space between your eyebrows is called a glabella. 2. The fresh smell after rain is petrichor. 3. The plastic tip of your shoelace? That’s an aglet! 4. A rumbling stomach is a wamble. 5. A newborn’s cry is vagitus. 6. Fork prongs are tines. 7. The light you see when pressing your eyes is phosphenes. 8. That little plastic table in a pizza box? It’s a box tent. 9. The day after tomorrow is overmorrow. 10. Your tiny toe is minimus. 11. A champagne cork’s wire cage is an agraffe, while meaningless "na na na" in songs are vocables. 12. The space between nostrils is columella nasi, and the hole where your sleeve attaches is an armscye. 13. Struggling to get out of bed? That’s dysania. 14. A messy handwriting is griffonage, the dot over an "i" is a tittle, and feeling sick after overeating is crapulence. 15. Turmacs = Fatherless mongrel Na true? Na ur gender talkam ohhh, no be me. Attack the message, not the messenger. Na humble messenger I be. turmacs: |

Hate Obi all you want but there are millions who like him. I myself I don't like him and will never vote for him because I am an Atiku person. But you guys should show some respect. In as much as I won't vote for him but I will respect him same as I respect Atiku and BAT. If you are Yoruba in this thread bashing Obi, you surely lack the testicular fortitude to acknowledge Obi has a place in the Nigeria political scene especially in Yoruba land. But your acknowledgement or lack thereof cannot change FACTS.

Gigantic Hypocricy Throwback @July 13, 2016 This incident occurred during a closed-door meeting held by senators on Tuesday and trouble started when Mr. Melaye urged the Senate to descend heavily on members who had offered to serve as prosecution witnesses in the ongoing forgery case against Senate President Bukola Saraki and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu. The Kogi senator is said to have accused the senators of being used by the presidency to destabilise the Senate and warned them to be ready to face the consequences of their action. “You should go and tell those who sent you that nobody, I said nobody, no matter who he is, can ever control this Senate, ” Mr. Melaye said as he pointed at the affected senators, his face contorted in rage. But when Mrs. Tinubu was recognised to speak, she rose, and said, “I’m just wondering why whenever Senator Dino speaks in this chamber, he is always threatening people and behaving childishly and at times like a thug. “I think he needs to know that every senator here represents their constituencies. And that there is no need to threaten anyone. “We are seeking and working towards reconciliation, yet you are busy issuing threats.” At this point Mr. Melaye jumped up from his seat and charged towards Mrs. Tinubu, saying, “Look this is not Bourdillon (referring to the famous Lagos residence of Mrs Tinubu’s politician husband). I will beat you up, ….. impregnate you and nothing will happen.” |

You are the one who is without knowledge oga. Does France use CFA? Do you know what CFA even means? African financial community CFA is pegged to the Euro through the French treasury. Which currency is the naira pegged to? None. Naira wey CBN fit decide add color anyhow, wey Meffy print anyhow carry go buy 753 Duplexes. CFA stable pass Naira far. I mean both CFA : XOF - West African cfa and XAF - Central African cfa. XAF is even more stable than XOF. Cardoso for CBN fit bring one policy now, Naira crash to 3000 Naira per Dollar by 2morrow morning, but no policy from a single/multiple country using CFA fit crash CFA value. Naira wey dem dey take naira buy naira? Even the quality of the notes itself by physical touch, Naira na toilet paper where CFA dey. XAF is controlled by a Central bank BEAC and XOF is controlled by a Central Bank BCEAO. The Central Bank governor is appointed by the Presidents of the various states party to the Monetary Union. Now talking about Union, ECOWAS na just union for mouth and paper. Remember the 3 letter word - ECO - in ECOWAS is for Economic and no mention of money. Meanwhile there are members of ECOWAS, who are in WAMU - West African Monetary Union, (Note the word Monetary) and these are the countries using CFA and are the owners of the BCEAO Central Bank. Nigeria is a member of ECOWAS but not a member of WAMU, same like Ghana because WAMU is a monetary union and Nigeria and Ghana already have their money and Central Banks. So how do you expect the currency ECO to be produced by ECOWAS to be regulated when ECOWAS is not a monetary union in the 1st place? There are already 3 Central Banks in ECOWAS - CBN, Ghana Central Bank and BCEAO. You tell me how in a million years they will do the gymnastics for this ECO currency. Will CBN and Ghana Central Bank be shut down so we can all use the BCEAO so it will leave the CFA and begin rolling out the ECO? Or will the BCEAO be shut down so the CBN begin rolling out the ECO? What then would become of the CFA, Cedi and Naira when they begin using the ECO? Do you know the constitutional changes and voting required in atleast 10 countries parliament and Senate chambers for this to be possible? Now to your issue about the use of CFA benefitting France, Francophone countries all over the world have debated this question in their Pan African and indigenous forums on whether it benefits France or not but the fact remains that whatever it benefits France far outweighs the disadvantages of not being pegged to the Euro. But the debate lives on. First you should know that apart from the African franc KMF, XAF and XOF there is also the Pacific franc CFP. The French treasury require BEAC or BCEAO Central banks to reserve atleast 60-65% of their foreign reserves in an account in the French treasury to ensure steady conversion rate of the CFA to the Euro or vice versa. This is the only drawback or you might say loss of financial Independence. The money does not belong to France and nothing on this earth can make CFA value to Euro change overnight drastically but Cardoso fit make announcement this night by tomorrow dem go start find Manager of Verve or Opay to arrest due to the drastic and immediate fall in the value of the naira. A number of intellectuals have proven that having an Independent Central Bank like Nigeria would be disastrous to their countries because they know themselves. They have seen the CBN and the Ghana Central Bank, naira and cedis are on a very long thing and have been for a very long time with the Nigerian and Ghanian Central banks being tribalised and politicised. Worse still, as NIgeria and Ghana are changing Presidents every 4-8 years, economic and monetary policies are summersaulting left and right with numerous Central bank governors and the poo only keep turning in the fan. Anytime somebody brings a debate about leaving the CFA currency, the alternative is shown to the person which is nearby - the cedi or naira and the choice would be to go back to the cfa for peace of mind. In essence, what I am trying to say is this, no matter the benefits the CFA has to France, for the owners of the CFA - BCEAO and BEAC the stability it provides is what is required for development and foreign investments in their subregion. You cant just wake up one day and devalue the CFA and the process would take atleast 2 years and the vote by the member countries to agree to the devaluation must be unanimous. But Tpain can order Cardoso one windy morning to devalue the naira and pauperise a whole nation and heaven will not fall. Therein lies the risk of financial Independence, not being part of the CFA and being pegged to the Euro through the French treasury. The name of that risk is Politics. With CFA, there is no politics and member states decide their destiny collectively in the monetary union. They most stable currency in Africa since 1999 is the CFA - XAF/XOF as their exchange rate to the Euro has stood still for 26 years now. You can go and verify. Ablesam171: |
