tobiyayo:
Truth is:
The "POWERADD" powerbank is charged using DC 20V 2000mA, it takes only a few hours hours to fully recharge.
I can understand the high cost of purchase. However, I prefer to buy a multi-purpose device to last through thin and thick than to replace a powerbank every now and then.

I have tried to recharge a separate "Anker" powerbank of 10000mAh and I would tell you that the "POWERADD" was fully recharged much earlier than the "Anker" powerbank. This is because the "ANKER" like most powerbank is recharged using a 5V/2A charger unlike that required for the "POWERADD" which is a 20V 2000mA.
OK, not bad. Hope it came with its own adapter? it might be hard finding one or replacing it in case it spoils

If anyone truly wants an all-purpose power bank, capable of charging your laptop and other electrical gadgets.
I refer you to consider the "POWERADD" 32000mAh. It is truly a power beast and It costs about $130. I purchased mine from Amazon US.
I'll rather buy a generator with $130 dollars, where is the light to charge a battery this big.

Even buying one solar panel and a mini inverter with one old car battery is better.

Pls be careful wit ur words...i'm not lying. My injoo power bank can comfortably charge my BlackBerry z30 four times and...I know wot i'm sayin.
Fantabulous:
Not really bro....but no guy in the field of engineering will accept your claim....A power Bank of 10000 will never charge a 2880mah 5 times....your claim is farce...do the mathematics bro...The total output of 5 charge cyxles is already more than 10000
Machines are not 100% efficient. We also learnt that in conversion of energy, some energy is lost in the form of heat.

The recharge cycle on power banks depends on the conversion rate, the Lumsing is up to 85% that means you'll get four charges for a 2000mah battery.

Charging time is also determined by the type of cable used, so it's recommended that you use the supplied cable. If you are also using your phone while charging, with 3G browsing, it will take longer to charge so the recharge cycle is reduced.

Heat is not good for battery cells. During prolonged use of our phones, it gets relatively warm, therefore smartphones have been designed to limit charging current being supplied to the battery to prevent overheating.

Between yesterday and today, StanbicIBTC pounds rate dropped from 299.77 to 294.59.
However, i placed an order on Asos and it was successful on Stanbic's end (as the funds was put on pending) but Asos declined the card for some reason. Sent an email to Asos to know what the problem is, clearly not Stanbic tho.

Can anyone confirm that paying merchants using ur card on paypal costs more or the merchant pays receiving cost?
No, the merchant pays the transaction fees.

Fees also apply if you receive any payment for goods or services. The standard rate for receiving payments for goods and services is 3.4% of total cost.

There is a fee to send money as a personal payment using a debit card or credit card. The fee, for example, in the U.S. is 2.9% plus $0.30 USD of the amount you send.
The sender can pay the fee or pass it on to the recipient. If the recipient doesn't want to pay the fee, they can choose not to accept the payment.

Refer to the fees section on the user agreement page for specific details: https://www.paypal.com/al/webapps/mpp/ua/useragreement-full?locale.x=en_AL

It was 19.61 naira exactly. On the 20th of March, Debit - 397.96. After 5 days, 25th Credit - 378.35. And dollar rate on both days was same 204.08 so it's not even like dollar lost value of something. Anyways, how will i cry about 19.61 naira? I'm a patriotic Nigerian. I used the money to support the Nigerian banking sector. My money keeps them going. Lol.

BTW, I was charged N208 using Access bank on PayPal today. I was hoping on that post that said Access rates was $199, turns out GTbank is even cheaper at the reported N206.
Referring to the post above, Access charged N405.6 for the $1.95 PayPal charge. Today I got the money back and I got N388.05.

They charged 208 then returned it at 199

You had to go back to the bank to fill the Mastercard secure code update form?
You can do that straight from you Internet banking account if na GTbank.

The reason I love Access is that after opening your account and you get your card, it just works. Even opening an Internet banking account is as easy as downloading the app and registering. You will have to get to the bank to get the software token sha

I use a GTCrea8. It's a cool account for students. It's also a zero account. They pay good interest too. But Diamond SWAG account is better.
Stanley08:
Thanks, I'll choose Crea8.
Lol. SWAG ke? Abeg I'm done with school, i don't need SWAG, I need DOUGH!
The GTCrea8 is not the best choice.
According to their website "The GTCrea8 e-Savers account is a flexible card account for students
Account holders can only perform transactions via e-channels (ATMs, Internet Banking, POS, and GTMobile). No Transaction can be processed in branches"

All savings account don't yield any interest after you might have carried out transactions up to 4 times in a month so if na interest rate dey interest you, you don sabi say e get condition.

Can someone explain this?
Amazon supports Global shipping on some select items. You filtered the results to show those external drives, which are eligible to ship directly to Nigeria.

Your final checkout amount will include the quoted price, sales tax, and the cost of shipping. Note that you'll also get to pay custom duties once it arrives in Nigeria.

Stanley08:
Lol. It's shipping cost. You've not seen DHL shipping of $110 for a $1 item on Aliexpress?
The price on the page is the item price, his shipping price will only be shown when he is about to check out having selected his prefered shipping option, which usually is Amazon global priority shipping (2-7days)

Amazon will only charge standard freight costs not the ridiculous prices sellers on Aliexpress fix.
