2. I noticed coolant wasn't used. Water was used instead. That must have been done by those that delivered the car to him in Abeokuta. Is it advisable to drain the water and replace with coolant since we don’t know how long it’s been like that. What coolant should be used if recommended

Drain and replace with Toyota long life coolant, you'll need up to 10 litres if you drain properly.

An auto shop was recommending this 20W-50 for me for my next oil change. See attached picture saying that it's is semi-synthetic.

Also is Mobil SHP recommended for an 09 Corolla?. According to them, it's cheaper and I can change that with filter every 3months. My last change was a 5W-30

Mobil XHP = No. The recommended oil for an 09 Corolla is 0W-20, 20W-50 is the wrongest oil you can ever use.

If you have been using 5w-30, there are fairly affordable options that'll last 5k miles with a good filter but if you can't afford those then Mobil 2000 could be an option.

I'll have to check with the mechanic to ascertain what the issue is.

What could cause an 07 camry rear legs to be making noise,mostly on rough roads,but seems pretty fine on smooth roads,.

Changed one of the bad shocks on the right while ignoring the good on by the left.
The mechanic said the two shock have blcome uneven or not balanced blc i recently changed absorbers.the "beating drum noise" still persist.
Can this be true?

I'm interested in the solution to this, I have two cars with this same issue.

The recent one started after I changed to the extra Tyre and back and it has been like that.

Check linkage rods, sway bar bushings, lower arm bushings.

Changed struts and sway bar bushings on the older case, issue went away and later came back.

Assuming you did a mix of city and highway driving to get 280 miles and your tank took up to 70L on your next refill, 15mpg is short of the rated 18mpg.

Your car is a 18 year old machine, expect a drop in performance.

cause and effect. You are currently looking in the wrong place. The relay is doing its job (relaying a message) find the instructor.

What relay is clicking? Issues like this will most likely start from under the dashboard area. You will need a skilled automobile electrician.

The constant clicking sound comes from the black relay in the picture, labeled EFI on the fuse box cover.

From the little research I've done, the relay works with the fuel injector and ignition circuits. So I guess the issue is from the ignition assembly.

Can you recommend a good electrician in Ìbàdàn, I've never had any electrical issues aprt from burnt bulbs. Or I could come to your workshop next time I'm in Lagos.

Good day, please I have a '99 Avalon with a 1MZ-FE engine. There's a clicking sound from the engine bay when the ignition is turned off and the key removed, it doesn't make the sound if the key is still in the ignition.

On checking it out, the EFI relay in the fuse box is the culprit. I bought another relay but it's the same issue.

The sound stops if I take my time to gently switch the ignition off. Last election weekend, I must have forgotten so it killed the battery by Monday morning.

Today it took about 4 times to get get the engine running, it shuts down immediately after starting (the immobilizer I think).

Have you had any experience with this and possible solution?
