lol. You're yet to make any point pertaining to this matter under discussion. You really think yabbing my state of origin is gonna get through my skin?
You've got balls talking about armed robbery in Edo State. The main issue in Edo State now is kidnapping. Guess where that started from, idiot.
where is the head quarters of prostitution located? Nigerian women going to Europe started from where?
I have seen Nigerian army doing worse things than this its only idiots like you that support their actions

texazzpete:
Why generalize so recklessly? Don't you think there are loads of gallant, decent men in our armed forces?
Use your head instead of making a silly knee-jerk reaction and call for the arrest and prosecution of those soldiers in the video instead of demanding for the deaths of all the men and women who put on the uniform in defence of this country.
It's a pity Nigeria is filled with idealistic cowards and traitors who will not in a million years volunteer for the armed forces, yet never let any opportunity pass to deride these same men. a few US forces have killed and wounded civillians in Iraq and Afghanistan, yet the American public is savvy enough to know that there are far more decent men and women in the army and they show respect to their armed forces. It's a pity we Nigerians cannot dredge up the same level of patriotism.

Before i get flamed here, my position is clear; restrict your bile to the people in the video alone.
Look at this edo spiritualist, voodoo man! last time I checked that your poverty wretched edo state has no oil. walai if edo had oil they could have done worse than these Ijaw boys.

you should be worried about your illiterate kings banning palm fruits, armed robbery in your state  and your International renowned PROSTITUTES in edo state.

we should all be greatful to the presence of JTF in the Niger delta. I wonder what would have happened if the region was left in the hands of miscreants and criminals. The video you all have seen is real. Some of you say the soldiers should have taken the captured millitants for trial. You seem to forget the case of vice versa. if the miscreants had succeded in hijacking the gunboat and killed all those soldiers, will it be the same case? Those of you that support mend, i feel great pitty for your deluded and foolish heads. do you think mend is fighting for you?Mend does not exist. All those criminas claiming to be agitating for niger delta are purely for selfish reasons. ANY MILLITANT CAUGHT DESERVES TO DIE. If you want to see evidence, meet me at messenegr chat-----cabadicetruth@yahoo.com

I bet none of you have ever been to the delta. you sorry ass piece of shit

LONG LIVE MY GREAT COUNTRY NIGERIA.LONG LIVE THE MILLITARY.
look at this idiot. How does that relate to the topic? they were saying the boys were messengers to the militants and not asking them about damn gun boats

PoliticsRe: Nigerians And Big Grammar? by freed(op): 12:10am On Jun 03, 2009
Because the language is the English man's mother tongue does not give him or her a perogative to the language. Most English people probably use less than 10% of the English vocabulary in their day to day conversation. Learning a language is a skill that no human being has a comparative advantage. If a yoruba man wants to learn Igbo there is nothing stopping him or her to be more erudite than a native Igbo. It is the level of intrest u commit to the study of the language. Whilst most English people dont speak more than 10% of the vocabulary Wole Soyinka might be on about 25% vocabulary level hence the professor not understanding Wole Soyinka.
all this one na long story angry
PoliticsRe: Nigerians And Big Grammar? by freed(op): 10:19pm On Jun 02, 2009
I have always said the Nigerian intelligentisia are the best English writers in the world and we as a nation should be proud of it.
be proud? if thats how an english man or our professeurs spoke to us none of us here will be here today. Its all about communicating not big words.

ole Soyinka at a conference used so many supersized words that most people in the audience couldnt understand even a white man sitting next to me kept asking me what he was saying throughout.

More significantly, teeming hordes of Nigerian worshippers would be free get up off their knees where they had been immobilized in prayer like so many wildebeest, so as to re-engage their cognitive functions and get on with the many responsibilities and challenges of real life, rather than waiting in vain for the nirvana offered at great monetary cost in the afterlife by those rapacious "Men of Dog", who themselves know of no other occupation that stealing from the poor to finance their own lives of lavish consumption.

It amazes me the extent the blind dislike for group of people drives certain individual to the apogee of defamatory idiosyncrasy.

PoliticsRe: House Of Reps: 20 Million Niger Delta Citizens Should Be Allowed To Die by freed(m): 10:40pm On May 25, 2009
this is how most naija politicians think , especially if you are from the north. Their allocations, bribes, perks , allowances, and take homes are taking a hit, and MEND has been instrumental in helping that decline. So its better to do away with 20 million people whose source of wealth sustains the rest of the country- with politicians taking 80% of the income than to let 100 million die of hunger. We are Nigeria because oil is flowing from Niger Delta. We will all die if MEND stops oil money from reaching northerners- nay Nigeria

more evidence that the militants are  criminals.
PoliticsBonny Island: Sss Arrests Leader Of Armed Gang by freed(op): 1:22am On May 25, 2009
The State Security Service (SSS) yesterday paraded first militant head and leader of Okoloma Ikpangi cult group of Bonny, 29 year old Orinanemi Hart who admitted to having in his arsenal 15 General Purpose Machine Guns (GPMG), 70 AK47 rifles, 34 Blank Maria, four Rocket Propelled Grenade Launchers and several pistols.

Also paraded on the same day with the boy who has been terrorizing users of the Bonny waterways were five security men employed by Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) to secure their facilities stole crude and other products by tampering with the facilities

The high profile arrests and confessions of the suspects on the roles they played may have been linked to the relative calm which Rivers State is enjoying as crime wave has nosedived.
The fair complexioned and youthful looking Hart did not deny his role in some activities outside the law but insisted that they set up his group to fight against politicians and the monarch of Bonny Kingdom who cornered everything that should have benefitted everybody in the community.

Asked why he resorted to arms, he replied, “Ah, we have to use arms because if you just agitate for your right like that without guns the Nigeria army will just kill you like that. We had to fight since everything that government brings to our place is cornered by the Chairman of the Council and the Amayanabo”.

When he was taken up on the various attacks and bank robberies , eh easily admitted to carrying them out but refuted the allegation that he collected any ransom to free any hostage. He rather claimed that when he was away and his boys numbering over 180 kidnapped an expatriate, he went straight and released him without ransom.

He admitted attacking and destroying the palace of the Amayanabo, HRH Edward Asimini Pepple and the Marine Police post on March 1, 2008; attack on soldiers in Bonny Waterfront beach on March 2008 ; and attack on Nigerian Ports Authority Jetty (NPA) in April 2008.
Also, he admitted that his group masterminded the robbery of Ecobank at Bonny Island on August, 2008; attack on soldiers on patrol, which led to the death of some soldiers while they took two of their gunboats on August 8, 2008 and attack on MV Lamnalco Waxbill and abduction of one Charles Omagbemi, a staff of Lamnalco offshore on January 20, 2009 and kidnap of Popa Nicholas, a Romanian on January 21, 2009.

He however amended his statement before newsmen at the headquarters of the SSS by claiming that he was not personally involved in kidnapping though his boys did and added they had a noble objective of maintaining peace within the Bonny domain and ensure that anything that was due their people were given.

“I am into oil and condensate business so I cannot kidnap. I even freed the ones that I knew they held without collecting any ransom. Me I am into bunkering and not kidnapping. I was not even around when my boys kidnapped the people on MV Lamnalco”.
He said there was a time Egberi Papa, the arrested militant who masterminded the kidnap of Mrs. Seinye Lulu-Briggs came to Bonny and kidnapped some expatriates and “I asked him to return the person and why he should operate in our territory like that, he refused and I went with my boys, destroyed his camp and freed the hostage who we released free of charge”.

He pleaded that “I was the person who identified myself because I don’t like to continue fighting soldiers. When they arrested my second in command, they did not know that I was the leader but I told them that I am the one. They should consider my boys and set them free even if they will not free me but I think we can work together for peace”.

John who was involved in kidnapping also admitted that he was involved but that it was an in-law, one Thompson Wokaran. The SSS said they were involved in the kidnap of Robertson Preston the Scottish national that works for ADAMAC.
Some of the members of the kidnap gang listed as Irisee, Odie, Sir Don, Ikpititeme and Welee, all who operate with aliases are still at large though the security said they are on their trail.

The other security men who turned illegal bunkerers are Damiete ThankGod, Opirtei Gbasine Horsefall Bobo Orubo Tito Horsefall, Boma Nicholas Horsefall and Asitoa Sokari Chima were employed at Horsefall Ama in Buguma, Rivers State but were caught vandalizing the facility and siphoning products. Some of them pleaded their innocence, claiming that they were in the same boat going back to town when they were arrested and did not participate in the illegal business. The SSS said they were handing them over to the police for prosecution as they have finished debriefing them on their involvement in the activities for which they were arrested.

ayomide06:
What you failed to realize Mr freed , is that your lazy ass militants are nothing compared to the Vietnamese those are very committed army who will sacrificed everything (including their life) in order to liberate their country not some bunch of criminals who has every opportunity in life but refused to take it. if they are actually committed to this struggle why the hell are they running away like armed robber been chased  by police? they should stand  fight, and die for  this course( if they actually fighting for  the course) like the TAMIL TIGER rebels did few days ago they stood their ground and die for what they believed in. but our niger delta militants are just common criminals. so whether the army killing them are yoruba or hausa or even idoma does not really matter what really matter is FLUSH THEM OUT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
I am not from the so called Niger delta. your stupid yoruba and hausa soldiers cant get rid of militants but attack civilians to show that they are doing something. flush them out? flushing innocent people instead of the militants in the creeks. your yoruba)hausa and fulani oligarchy have lots of work and need to get their acts together  or else your lagos and abuja will be doomed
PoliticsRe: War In Niger Delta: Mend Threatens Northerners In Oil Industry by freed(m): 1:10pm On May 24, 2009
This stupid cult should have been torn apart by FG a long time ago.
I dont support militancy but your country soldiers(hausa, yoruba) attacked civilains not militants if you dont know.
the militants are in the creeks, mangrove, swamp whatever dem dey call am. they know where those militants are, just go into the creeks and meet hundreds of them. the militants have home advantage and their environment is also an advantage just like vietnam war. when the hausa soldiers decide to go into the creeks and fight them, they die like ants. your nigerian soldiers should man up and go into the creeks and stop killing innocent civilians.

I was born and bred in Port Harcourt, I am a self confessed PH boy, however after roughly 2 decades in Ikwerreland, there is not one Ikwerre individual I respect, NOT ONE!!

In a surburb of PH where I grew up, you find Ikwerres selling land, to live the posh life for a few months before going back to soaking garri, they have sold off all their land and they now live in small clusters while the Igbos and other tribes in Nigeria having bought from them are all doing great. They rarely invest in themselves, a large percentage of their youth refuse to get educated choosing only to be miscreants.

My father also got his own share when the Ikwerres went on the selling frenzy, he has retired gracefully thanks to the Ikwerres' folly; I should be thankful to them honestly.
Sensible dudes dont need yahoo yahoo to hammer in PH, just buy land from an Ikwerre mugu,
