QuotaSystem: Google is a free resource…and his sub-region isn’t North-Central but North-East. Go and verify.
Indeed he will cost APC some votes in Kano especially with Shekarau by his side, but overall, the party will likely win the state due to Ganduje’s machinery and the incumbency factor. Furthermore, any lost votes will be counter-balanced by the SW bloc votes for APC, that used to be typically divided across parties. .....no thanks to our noisy neighbours who have successfully turned PDP and (now by extension) LP to an ethnic party! |

You forgot to add d 'VP/vp's people going rogue' factor! #once_bitten_twice_shy garfield1: The north has always rallied round a radical Muslim,a pious, sharia driven fellow usually Hausa fulani or kanuri.first was usman danfodio, then ahmadu bello and to an extent late gen yaradua and maitama sule and then buhari.kwankwaso is gradually getting such followershio in the mould of aminu kano...atiku does not fit that features,he is seen as too liberal minded and western minded unlike conservative buhari.moreover,he is not from the core north nor from the Muslim dominated states.Adamawa is evenly divided...
Atiku contested in 2007 and won no state.he lost the entire northeast while buhari won some states in the north west.in 2019,he won Adamawa narrowly same as taraba.borno and yobe literally buried him whilst giving him his lowest votes...
Again, the north have read the mood of the nation and seen that power must go down south for Nigeria to remain as one which favours the north more.highest they will do is extract some firm commitment from tinubu not to rock the boat...
Again, the north knows that it is the turn of the south and they are honest people.if they were so powerdrunk, they would have voted atiku in 2019.. Again, apc is so entrenched in the north and pdp weak...

Once they see loyalty in u, then its over! They'll escort u to the moon and back. And that was obvious some few weeks ago when 11 northern govs tackled their very own (buhari) just to pay back tinubu's/Yoruba's faithfulness to them. The northers will follow u until they see treachery in ur DNA. Barring the issue of religion, I make bold to say northerners have d 'it' factor. To Peter Obi's supporters who might think I have been attacking their candidate, No, instead pointing flaws, giving suggestions on how to run the campaign even if 2023 did not work, 2027 look brighter.
Obi needs the LP party candidates who have won the primary for various positions than all this online noise. He carries their weight as well as a presidential candidate of the party LP.
LP party would have received more than 195 votes in the just concluded Ekiti guber election had Obi present in the campaign.
Obi should take more time to campaign for other aspirants without making the presidency to himself alone. Those are the people who are close to the grassroots |

AnambraPrince: Even outside of politics, my people love to antagonize everybody. We igbos are just too confrontational, we see everyone as an unworthy competition and that's why we keep making enemies everywhere we go in huge numbers.
My people said Yoruba girls are dirty smelling, they said Edo girls are international prostitutes, Calabar ones are slutty, Northern girls are slaves etc, but only igbo girls are angels. Same thing, Yoruba food is oily soup, Northerners are headslammers but only we igbo tribe are made in Heaven, everything about us is perfect.
Everyone else is the problem, except us. Something serious is fundamentally wrong with my igbo tribe. If not for exposure, and the high level of intermingling, interaction and cultural exchange experience I have had over the years with other ethnicities and cultures, I probably would have been just another regular igbo man here shouting hate 24/7 for anything and anyone that is not igbo. I refuse to be a part of that folly. Even before u mentioned the bolded, I had already reasoned that u are either an igbo-yoruba/Hausa hybrid (by lineage) or that u weren't raised amongst igbos in general, or else u too would have caught the tribalism bug. Even many igbos who were born/grew up outside alaigbo sef, who u think should know better aren't immune to this negative trait. When they open their mouth u shudder!I think u are just a rare (Igbo) breed with the rare quality of saying things as they truly are without a prejudiced mindset. |

AnambraPrince: APC won all the local governments in Ekiti. And this is a place that is usually around 50 - 50. But my igbo tribe has finally succeeded in teaching Yoruba people tribalism. People that are normally very liberal. But everyone in Nigeria is embracing their tribalism with pride now just to score political points that we igbos don't have monopoly of tribalism.
Tinubu will get at least 90% of SW votes. Same thing will happen in the North, Northerners will queue behind Buhari's candidate, which means another 80% Northerners votes for Tinubu. My people will vote for Obi, which means 90% igbo votes for Obi. SS will vote APC maybe around 65%. And some bloody jokers keep living in a fools paradise that Obi will win.
Congratulations to my igbo family, we have succeeded in making the 2023 elections the most tribalistic elections in history. We just never learn. Always on the wrong side of history! God bless u for this brah! Yorubas by nature vote based on issues, morality, expertise etc. But all dt is gone with d wind now brah. There were tons of dude here on nairaland who hitherto gave no flying fvck about tinubu before but the brazen hypocritical attacks on tinubu/Yoruba's woke them all to face the reality. When u see d average yorubas lashing out at his fellow Yoruba (leaders) u know its based on issues, but when u see d average igboman lash out at other ppl's leaders yet protect theirs even for d same 'offence' then u begin to ask ursef "hey, what's going on here?" |

Una speeches nor dey ever complete if una never blame others for una self-inflicted miseries! In one speech u dey blame awolowo and tinubu (whom u refereed as igbos enemy) for picking northern VP, in d same speech u are blaming wike for "blocking d chances of igbos in d last PDP primaries". ." The APC as the sitting party at the centre of governance has failed to incorporate the Igbos into the presidential office, having fielded Bola Tinubu, a follower of the late Obafemi Awolowo, whose alleged hatred for the Igbo nation knew no bounds. Tinubu, in turn, will pick a Hausa VP, thereby moving to perpetuate the Yoruba/Hausa political hold.” Adikwuru recalled that PDP’s Atiku Abubakar had held that power should move to the South East and as such, he would have supported Ndigbo if PDP had zoned the presidency to South East, adding that his stand was premised on the assumption that both major political parties would anchor their presidential tickets on the South East. “But, the body language and intrigues in APC routed for the South West, while persons like River’s Nyesom Wike, another arch-enemy of Ndigbo, blocked the chances of South-East to produce the presidential candidate of PDP" May God deliver u! |
