I have been reading this narrative of people saying that they are not supporting Peter Obi because of his supporters who are mostly insultiive and intolerant of
dissenting opinions.
The question is this: who has Peter Obi himself insulted?
Are you voting for Peter Obi to repair the damage done to the economy, the security, the health and psyche of our dear nation or are you voting for his supporters?
A lot of people insulted former president Goodluck Jonathan during his tenure. Did you back out from voting his opponent former Muhammadu Buhari because of his saucy supporters?
Would you rather allow a quack surgeon operate on you because you hate the relatives of the competent surgeon?

Those blaming APC for the woes of the country now should direct their anger towards Peter Obi. That man is the reason everyone is suffering currently. Nigerians were fed up with Buhari's ineptitude coupled with the naira scarcity and were ready to sack APC from leadership. It is not as if northerners or other Nigerians did not know what the Igbos knew about those men. It's just that based on the current structure of Nigeria, NOBODY CARES ABOUT THE COUNTRY.

If we had Arewa region, a grossly incompetent fellow like Buhari would never have been allowed in governance. There are too many eminently qualified northerners like Ahmed Datti that would not steal nor allow the people's resources to be stolen or wasted.

Likewise, if we had Odua Region, a shady character like Tinubu would never have been allowed to rule it. There are too many qualified and honest Yorubas that we would not allow the worst of us to rule us.

It is because of the structure of Nigeria that the worst people are allowed to rule "Nigeria". Since nobody really feels that Nigeria's misrule has consequence on the people's wellbeing and progress. The country MUST be restructured so that each region will find its best brains to rule and prosper the people.
