Jbenue: [s]Let me start of by saying I sympathize with the Niger Deltans, for too long they have been cheated of their birthright and by all that is good and fair they should be the first beneficiaries of the OIL extracted from their land. And being from a minority tribe myself I empathize with their sense of despondency at the unfair advantage of what I dub the Three Headed Monster Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo.
Having said that I am sick onto death of the hypocrisy perpetuated by the NG and the igbos especially in calling the Yoruba tribalistic and saying every zone ganged up against GEJ. GEJ wasn't kicked out because of tribal sentiment, was it not Yoruba and middle Beltan votes that brought him to power in the first place. He was voted out because Nigerians were sick and tired of the status quo. The just concluded election was a referendum against impunity, corruption, dysfunctionality and insecurity. If people can take off their ethno-tinted glasses and search their hearts sincerely they will come to the realization that the Jonathan administration was a cancer to the nation.
I am amongst the countless millions of Christians that had no tribal affliction to either Buhari or Osinbajo that voted for them or would have if I wasn't living abroad. In four years if they prove to be as hopeless as Gej we will vote them out for a more likely candidate, perhaps he or she might be igbo[/s]! thrash |

He is crying wolf after losing his seat. I don't think obiano will ever move to APC. This is actually the moment for him to build APGA without pdp distractions. If otti wins Abia then the party will gain more strength. I think the support of PDP by APGA caused a lot of damage to the party. Obiano will rather move to PDP than APC |

Cuche: He is not yet done with scheming. In fact, the scheming has just began. If that fails he will join team Bode George on exile And will possibly be forced to handover his loot to the Anambra. I can assure you that amount will hasten the development of the State I hope APGA has learnt some lessons with the outcome of Senatorial elections. They can still capture the State Assembly seats by doing the basic things. And that is more important to for.estall the activities of schemers lol.. I have been very bitter since Monday about Jonathan's loss but each time I remember Peter obi lost too I'm reprieved. This marks the end of peter obi in the political scene. Jonathan showed so much naivety by using him as his campaign director for south. He over estimated Peter obi's relevance. The result is the low, dismal figures from the SS and SE. He probably looted the money for mobilization of voters. We had better people of influence who could have been used for the job. Here is what Thisday wrote about him. Peter Obi: The case of former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi is best described as double tragedy. Back home in his state, he is no longer in good terms with the man he installed as successor. And here in Abuja, whatever he was looking for that Jonathan was unable to give him for over a year may never come his way again. He’s probably paying the price for some of his indecent role in some of the contradictions that led thus far. http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/the-winners-and-losers/205824/ |

Cuche: Right, I am not a lawyer and will not like to be one in a country like 9ja . I don't think APGA will get much from going to court, the evidence will be elusive to obtain and our judges are specialist electoral case dismissals for reasons best known to them Where I think APGA should focus on is the State Assembly elections. They should sit down and put their acts together, getting 100% of the seats is achievable and that will be in the best interest of the state for now. One way to checkmate politicians who will give orders to the security agencies in the President's name concerning aiding malpractices is to befriend SGF, Sen Anyim even if it is for these 8 days. When that is out of the way, their efforts at campaigning and the Willie is Working will reflect in the election results The only election APGA can contest is that of central. Even if the elections in Anambra north and south are conducted a million times, pdp will still win. Obiano like you said should focus on clearing the state assembly seats now that pdp is out of the way. Whatever it takes. I think they will be more prepared this time. I should believe obiano knows what is at stake by this time. |

Moving forward; if Nigeria doesnt rewrite the census that gave us low figures through which Jega and co gerrymandered their way to victory, we are screwed. . We can't mount a reasonable political fight with the fake meager numbers "alotted" to us. . I see blood ahead and we should get ready to fight. Either a loose federation or we want out. All Nigerians should support Buhari for the next 5 years if he fails then he should be voted out like GEJ. Jonathan was not the president when Boko Haram leader was killed. Politics › Buhari's Presidency: Tribalism Wins Competence by FreeGlobe(op): 10:42am On Apr 01, 2015 |
There is no reason why Nigeria should continue being a united country when we now place ethnic interests over competence and performance. The yorubas have supported with the hausas to return to the status quo of their born to rule. I don't expect any democracy dividend from a buhari presidency for the masses because Buhari didn't even present a manifesto. All he did was sell his ethnicity to his north while the yorubas did for their region. Jonathan has done more for the north than any president from the north and yet tribalism defeated him. I want to ask all igbos to boycott this government and prepare for the next election with awareness and tribalism. Igbos should make sure that they are not shortchanged in the upcoming census. There is no reason why katsina should have more population than Anambra.
Enough said! |
