What is Igbo in this? did Stella Odua stole igbo money or was alleged to have taken what belongs to the igbos but Nigeria as a whole. Ordinarily, in a developed country she would have resigned by now. I am so sorry for this country because we are sitting on a keg of powder little time now, it will explodes.if you can't provide evidence where she stole money then be silent forever |
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and its governorship candidate, Chief Willie Obiano, have been dragged to court by Abum Emeremgini in Anambra State over an alleged double registration. Also joined in the suit at the Federal High Court in Awka is the INEC’s Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Prof Chukwuemeka Onukaogu. Emeremgini, is praying for an injunction restraining the 1st and 2nd defendants (INEC and REC) from parading and recognising the APGA candidate as a candidate in the November 16 governorship election in Anambra State. This, according to the plaintiff, is for having not fulfilled the constitutional requirements for the qualification of a governor of a state. The plaintiff is also praying for an injunction restraining the officers, servants and agents of 1st respondent (INEC) from interfering or deleting data of the 4th respondent, Willie Obiano, from the register of INEC. He alleged that proper procedure has not been followed for the transfer of the name of the 4th respondent (Obiano) from Lagos to Anambra State in the transferred voter’s list of the 1st defendant’s register. Again, that any purported transfer was not done in accordance with the provisions of the Electoral Act 2010 as amended. http://thenationonlineng.net/new/anambra-inec-apga-obiano-dragged-court-double-registration/ |

^ have you heard of amah brewery in Enugu? what do they need a sabmiller for? and that is a 100% private owned project. Are you feigning ignorance you don't know obi owns sabmiller? and what are the projects obi has attracted by owning fidelity bank where obiano was just a staff? Obiano wants to improve security with intelligence and Ngige wants to do same by employment so which do you rather? And then all the places you listed those investments, were the governors of those states bankers. I'm not telling you to vote any body but quit deceiving your fellow ignorant people you think chime is performing because of shoprite? that's why I. call you an illiterate and wont respond you again |
if you didn't watch the debate you could read the proceedings here https://www.nairaland.com/1494220/anambra-2014-pdp-extinction-race |
PDP is in the season of extinction in Anambra State as the just concluded governorship debates in Awka organised by Silverbird Television Networks, there was no seat for a contestant for any candidate from the Peoples Democratic Party. Sources close to the organisers said the party had no clear candidate and therefore was not considered that of the election debates n order to avoid ‘unnecessary conflict that could and the debates’. In the debate Ngige who joined the debate mid- stream apologised for his delay in getting to the Emmaus House Venue due to bad roads that made him move from Onitsha to Awka in 90 minutes to move from Onitsha to Awka , but went ahead to show class in all issues placed before him. For instance on the issue of job creation for the youth, Ngige’s answers were markedly different and refreshing when he said he would go back to the curriculum of schools after giving them free education and tilt it towards technical education as obtains in Ghana, so that school leavers can employ themselves with your hands when jobs are not forthcoming. Obiano did not have clear answers on how he would create hobs, while the candidate of the UPP, Prof Akanegbu sad he would get Anambra State secure so that investment in-flow will stimulate job creation. However Labour Party candidate Mr Ifeanyi Ubah who had a seat in the debates, as well as his Progressive People Alliance (PPA) counterpart dodged the debate. Ubah had boasted hat he would stake N5 million for any contestant that who will engage him in a debate, but analysts last week saw the move as an empty boast intended to shroud the perennial fear of intellectual engagements by the LP candidate who could not explain the contents of his manifesto in a recent interview with African Independent Television (AIT) IN Abuja. ‘Ezeemo does not express himself well, has no clear manifesto and is in the race pnly as a spoiler, Mr Cletus Onyeacho, of Okoh who attended the debate as an observer with his wife yesterday. The candidate initially disqualified from contesting from APC primaries was later allowed to contest in direct primaries which he lost to Ngige. The primaries took place on the last date allowed by INEC for all primaries. However Ezeemo re-surfaced as candidate of PPA without primaries displacing the subsisting candidate Mrs Ngozi Ulasi, instigating the sack of the State Chairman of the PPA. He is believed to be sponsored by Gov Peter Obi as a strategy to increase the reach of APGA, one reason which made Ezeemo keep out of yesterday’s debate in preference for the final rounds. In addition, speculations are rife that Ezeemo’s he is bugged down by the challenge to his candidature which may make a total mess of the expenditure he is making so far. However, the most embarrassing moment was when Obiano went into an argument with a panellist Mrs Omelu Udoji that Anambra State Government was paying minimum wage at the moment, until the time allotted for his response elapsed. All three other candidates in attendance disagreed sharply, while Ngige promised t pay the minimum wage and add other incentives to the workers package. But based on the fallout, Ngige berated Obiano when he had the opportunity to ask a question for one candidate, for not knowing what JAC (Joint Account for State and Local Governments) , and for not being familiar with the civil service structure while aspiring to govern the state. http://www.elombah.com/index.php/articles-mainmenu/18405-anambra-2014-pdp-in-extinction-race-as-ngige-beats-them-all-in-guber-debate |
