nyabingi: APC (Arewa Peoples Congress)knew that Ngige is marketable so they used him to perfect their plan of extending their Jihad to Igbo land, Ndi Anambra pls shine ur eye and avoid the mistake Imo state made by voting Rochas who had a northern agenda, he spent all his life in the north some even say he converted to Islam.
well unlike rochas, Ngige was born in Anambra and has spent all his life there. APC is not our problem, bad governance is

mekaboy: If he owns it, then Fashola owns Shoprite in lagos, Sullivan Chime owns shoprite in Enugu.
honestly you make it hard for one not to insult you. You reason like an illiterate. Its an open secret Peter obi is a major share holder in Sabmiller, you can't proof that of shoprite. And is Sabmiller the type of foreign investment you want for the state? Talking about baggages, Peter obi had NO baggage before becoming governor but he is today one of the worst governors in Nigeria. The person we know is better than who we don't. And enough of this Ngige being in jail nonsense, if the system is flawed then go fix the system, the Obiano you are supporting is still exactly the Ngige scenario where a godfather insists on foising a candidate on the state so what nonsense are you talking. The best governors in Nigeria today, the Chimes, Akpabios etc are not bankers. Bankers do not even attract investors if you want to go by that. marketers and buss admin people rather do. Finally you posted irrelevant videos to assess the candidates, go and watch tonight's stv debate and compare them with those you posted. You can attract investors without fixing infrastructure, transportation, markets, security which are all at level zero in Anambra but I doubt you will understand

This was not a debate, Ngige just schooled the other candidates on his mastering of the state. It would only amount to a disservice if he doesn't win.
Politics › Re: Anambra State Governorship Election Debate On STV on Oct 25th, 2013 by FreeGlobe(f): 9:30pm On Oct 26, 2013

Politics › Re: A Glance At Anambra Governor Candidates by FreeGlobe(f): 8:35pm On Oct 26, 2013
mekaboy: POINT OF CORRECTION MA, NGIGE WAS NOT A GOVERNOR ACCORDING TO OUR CONSTITUTION. HE ILLEGALLY ASSUMED THE POSITION OF A GOVERNOR. IN A CIVILIZED SOCIETY HE WOULD BE IN JAIL, AND AN EX-CONVICT CANNOT CONTEST FOR AN ELECTION. SO IF YOU ARE TO BLAME THE NIGERIAN SYSTEM, YOU SHOULD EVEN BLAME THE SYSTEM FOR ALLOWING NGIGE TO GO FREE AFTER RIGGING AN ELECTION AND CONTESTING TO IT.

I CAN ONLY JUDGE HIM BY HIS PERFORMANCE IF HE LEGITIMATELY WON THE ELECTION. I CANT TELL IF HE DID WELL TO WIN THE SYMPATHY OF THE PEOPLE OF ANAMBRA SINCE HIS GODFATHERS WERE AFTER HIM .

FOREIGN INVESTORS ALSO PUT THE PROFILE AND CHARACTER OF THE STATE GOVERNOR INTO CONSIDERATION, BESIDES ROADS AND SECURITY.

FOREIGN INVESTORS DONT JUST GO TO INVEST BECAUSE YOU INVITE THEM, YOU NEED TO GIVE THEM DETAILED STATISTICS. IT IS BASED ON THIS SATISTICS THAT THEY WILL DECIDE IF TO INVEST OR NOT. ITS MAINLY SOMEONE WHO IS IN THE BANKING INDUSTRY OR ACCOUNTING THAT WILL BE ABLE TO GENERATE A CONVINCING REPORT. WHY DO YOU THINK OKONJO IWEALA IS THE FINANCE MINISTER? SHE CAN SPEAK THE BANKING LANGUAGE THAT INVESTORS UNDERSTAND, SHE WORKED WITH THE WORLD BANK, SHE KNOWS HER STATISTICS. WILLY OBIANO CAN ALSO SPEAK THE LANGUAGE, AS THE HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENTS BANKING, ACCOUNTANT IN FIRST BANK, I THINK HE KNOWS HIS STATISTICS TOO.

HOW CAN I BLAME NGIGES AGREEMENT TO RIG AN ELECTION ON THE SYSTEM? DIDNT HE KNOW THE ELECTION WILL BE RIGGED? WHAT WAS HE DOING IN THE OKIJA SHRINE ? WAS HE THE ONLY ONE THE UBAHS APPROACHED WITH THAT OFFER? WHY DID HE AGREE TO RIGGING. IT TELLS ALOT ABOUT A PERSONS CHARACTER.

THIS IS NOT ABOUT COMPARING AGE, ITS ABOUT FACTS .
so how many foreign investors has okonjo iweala attracted. you are just too ignorant. so only bankers can rule a state well? You don't even know the economics of foreign investment so shut your mouth and stop talking like an illiterate.

Peter obi owns the sabmiller in onitsha what are you saying
Politics › Re: A Glance At Anambra Governor Candidates by FreeGlobe(f): 7:47pm On Oct 26, 2013
@mekaboy you write up is a long piece of thrash. You said you decided to investigate the contestants to get a picture of them without putting a context that Ngige was one a governor of the state and best till date, why didn't you judge him by his performance and stop disgracing yourself with this senseless talk about attracting foreign investors, did you think you can just go and call foreign investors without providing security, access roads, markets, manpower, infrastructure etc. investors are business people looking for profits in a favorable environment not angels. Nobody can say he has the sole capacity to bring investors without getting things right first. Talking about Ngige rigging election, you have to blame it on the Nigerian system, No Nigerian election is perfect, even the last election that brought Peter obi was rigged. you are just too ignorant man and you think like a kid

solomon111: Is it the same Ngige that has not contributed any single bill in the senate in the past 2 years.
The same Ngige that could not defend his people during the deportation saga and you expect the same people to trust him to look out for their interest?
You're drunk.
you have not said anything that relates to development in the state, Anambra people will keep migrating to Lagos and facing humiliation because of poor governance at home. you are the drunk person here

exactly my point. I will be the last person to like APC but we must not throw away the baby with the bath water. Ngige is our own and he is far better than the candidates on display. I expect Anambra people to be wise

Awakulowo2: I don't think Gumi is making any sense here. GEJ is a Christian and he can visit the holy land as a Christian and the President of the most populous Black Nation. The only problem here is the number of ibos that travelled with him. ibos are there for their selfish interest, ask Stella Oduah. The ibos should have travelled as biafrans not as Nigerians.
fool did you expect the igbos to go to Mecca? Pilgrimage or not, Stella Oduah stays put. A million cries from the south west cannot change nothing

tatiana009: As I have pointed out already you are one of the most tribalistic people on this forum so you are in no position to point fingers, how about you work on yourself first? So since you met some Yorubas who are you have decided to join them, yet I'm sure you never notice the millions who are not. By your "reasoning" since a lot of Nigerians are corrupt you may as we'll join them too. All these are silly excuses, be the change you want to see. I can't imagine you as a mother, what will you teach your kids except for the rubbish you type all over Nairaland.
tatiana (I like your name btw), why do you keep pointing accusing fingers at me while asking me not to do same, its on record that every thing I write on nairaland are FACTS and I have NO apologies for them. I challenge you to point anything I have posted that is false and we can debate it. The truth is just bitter. Everybody knows tribalism is inherent in MOST yorubas but they quick to raise propaganda when they are paid back in their own coin.

Politics › Re: I Am Sick And Tired Of Tribal Politics - Who Is With Me? by FreeGlobe(f): 1:39pm On Oct 25, 2013
tatiana009: I just hope the tribalists on both sides are not claiming to be Christians. That is another problem with Nigeria, full of hypocrites. Just know that tribalism in any form even if u feel you are retaliating will only lead you to hell. We are all accountable for every word that comes out of our mouths and fact that you are doing it via the internet doesn't change that. You hate a Yoruba man because one did the same to you, he then hates an Igbo man because of the things you said! It is an unending cycle and we all play a part in it.
tribalism is even 'rifer' in yoruba churches, go to Redeemed Church, Deeper Life etc and see tribalism walking on its two legs, one of the reasons I gave up on the inbred tribal nature of yorubas especially the old generation. I have had Yoruba friends tell me they know they are tribal
