take dat: Why not credit your misfortune in life to the SW, you miserable pig? Is Mr Edwards, the whistle blower from the SW? Is it only those from the SW who are dismayed and angry at the squander-maniacs in positions of authority?tell us why you folks from south west particularly insist on dragging Stella oduah into this arranged mess other than Fola DG of NCAA who is solely responsible. Why was the SW not also dismayed when Fashola and Tinubu squandered 600 million on SUV's |
^ brilliant |
Derimius: Hasn't it already been clarified that the car belongs to the NCAA and not Stella Oduah?and check out the people and sources peddling the news. The same usual suspects |
nerodenero: Na poem you dey write?Does it really matter where a corruption leader comes from when he/she is found wanting?Leave ethnicity out of this and let the 'act of God madam' face the music.face which music? music from the south west? you must be baba suwa. madam Stella dey kampe |
I disagree. Its Nigerian politics that caused the divisions of ethnic nationalities not colonial masters. Ask yourself how the igbo ethnicity would have been like today for instance without the civil war and state creation |
![]() some folks should should just admit I'm their biggest nightmare on nairaland. Anyways I just wanted to know the type of Naval base they want to build with 1.2 billion, will it have barracks and other facilities. This is a welcome development nonetheless |
Anybody but Ifeanyi Ubah and APGA |
Dead on arrival. Peter Obi and Victor Umeh's APGA will RIP November 16. Most of you are not from Anambra anyways, if you want APGA vote them in your state. Peter obi's APGA is igbo inhumanity to igbo. Why did you skip ezu river saga and shoot on site order of the present led APGA in your Analysis. APGA is not an igbo party, Anambra is not the only igbo state. say no to continuity of bad governance wrapped under igbo interest |
which kind naval base are they building for 1.2 billion? That's too little |
Fola should be solely responsible for this scandal. He must go. His excuse/explanation is not impressive. Anybody dragging the minister into this and not Fola are clearly after the minister for other reasons. |
geeez: So you admit it was inflated right under the minster's nose? This means all the contracts she must have approved for the renovations must have been inflated.who doesn't know you are not mentally stable on nairaland. How many times have you been told NCAA is an autonomous body. Area boy. |
take dat: Fola must Go. Nkemakolam must Go. Stella must Go. NCAA Board must be dissolved.obviously that's the plan, the target being Stella but you and your cohorts have failed |
‘BMW cars were expensive because they are custom fitted’ – NCAA boss Director General of NCAA, Dr. Fola Akinkuotu, has distanced himself from the exorbitant cost of the bullet proof BMW’s bought for the minister, whilst also stating that the cars were custom made, thus leading to their exorbitant prices. Research from Civil Society Organizations had shown that similar security BMW cars cost $200,000 each in the USA and Europe, a fraction of the $800,000 spent by the NCAA. On the high cost of the cars, Akinkuotu said: “There are three factors that might decide. I am not speaking on behalf of the persons who put up the paper or the persons who cost it or the persons who sold it. But first of all, each car you buy has a custom features aspect to it. “Were they budgeted for? Yes. I don’t know the cost of the President’s car and I can’t relate it to this.” The DG said the NCAA was investigating the source of the leaked documents and determined to apprehend the whistleblower. “I don’t know the source of the leak (sic). I issued a circular to all the staff, GM, Directors and Legal, and I will just read just a little bit. http://www.theheraldng.com/bmw-cars-expensive-custom-fitted-ncaa-boss-seeking-whistleblower/ |
why did he inflate the cost of the cars after the minister allegedly requested a bulletproof vehicle (justifiably so following the hate from a region in this country). why is the Lagos press and sahareporters shielding this obviously corrupt DG who would have been sacked long ago save the cries from ACN machinery. Fola must resign |
with the kind of hate madam Stella is getting for Enugu airport, I recommended not only a bulletproof car but a house too, office, clothe etc. These vultures are up to no good |
oh this issue has been closed after Tinubu entered into plea bargain costing Lagos state billions |
There are no leakages in non SW airports. The vultures are up to no good |
if there is a leaking roof then I blame it on yorubas for sabotage. I don't trust this people. what next? |
I rather go for Ngige. Since Obi schemed Soludo out, i really don't see any credible candidate. Let's all forget the APC/PDP/APGA thingy and choose the right person.
Some so called igbos on this thread are clueless. Give me infrastructure and development other than the vote igbo APGA hogwash. The APGA led govt has used this propaganda to divert attention from accounting for what they use the states allocation for. I don't care if Anambra governor comes from Iraq so far he can transform the state economy and fully exploit the potentials of onitsha and nnewi which APGA has failed to do. At the end of the day, Ngige is igbo. The APGA igbo thingy does not benefit us. Anambra is not the only igbo state. why not APGA reclaim other igbo states if they are sincere. criminals |
hehehehehehehehe, rat poison for sale ![]() |
why didn't Sahara reporters carry this news? yeye dey smell |
I wonder what these bad belles will do next when GEJ refuses their ediotic demands. Sahara reporter should probe the massive fraud in the APC state he comes from aided by Tinubu |
An Igbo group, Aka Ikenga has criticised the condemnation trailing the purchase of two cars valued at N255 million, by Minister of Aviatio, Stella Oduah. According to its president, Goody Uwazurike, those who believe stories published by Sahara Reporters, the online news site which broke the news, are idiots. “It is an idiot who believes what is written by Sahara Reporters. People should stop peddling falsehood. Don’t give a dog a bad name in order to hang that dog,” he said. “The first question we need to ask is ‘were the cars budgeted for?’ If it is part of the current budget , there is nothing wrong in that. “Also, why are people giving the impression that the cars were the personal property of the Minister? “Every ministry has official cars scattered in almost all the airports in this country. But when the Minister leaves or resigns, he or she leaves all those cars behind. “There is a serious campaign in some quarters to get Mr. President to sack the Minister, why? Is it the Minister’s fault that a pilot decides to take a plane that is being repaired and fly it in the air? “Let us stop all these campaigns of calumny against the Minister,” Uwazurike said. http://dailypost.com.ng/2013/10/18/n255m-cars-those-who-believe-saharareporters-are-idiots-group-defends-stella-oduah/ |
The above are the weakest link in this govt. they must go. |
These enemies of igbo progress especially in the south west will not allow Nigeria's best aviation minister ever to focus on her job especially after the Enugu international airport became functional. I pity anyone that is deceived by their antics. They have not told us the minister stole money like fani kayode or tafa balogun |
Igbo think tank, Aka Ikenga, has expressed dismay over what it described as campaign of calumny against Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah, insisting that the minister was not to blame for the recent plane crash in Lagos. The group in a statement in Lagos yesterday titled: “Leave Princess Stella Oduah alone” said a despicable group was being led by a discredited former Minister of Aviation to canvass the “sack” of the current Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah, from her post. The statement signed by the President of Aka Ikenga, Chief Goddy Uwazuruike said: “It is a shame that a man who suffers from hallucinations of his past and present life will lead a motley crowd of revellers in demanding the sack of a minister. “It is even more mindboggling when one remembers that the main reason for the sack is the death of some of our fellow citizens in a chartered flight which the only authoritative body has attributed to engine failure.” Absolving the minister from blame over the air mishap, the group noted that “This campaign of calumny is clearly borne out of bitterness as the Minister of Aviation made the know- nothing former Minister of Aviation a Lilliput by her achievements which the hatchet group derisively describes as a renovation! This same group even fought against the infrastructural changes at our gateway airports! “Today, the swan song is about purchase of official cars! Have you checked the budget for the year 2013? Have you checked whether the due process was followed? ‘Let it be known to all and sundry that the Ministry of Aviation is busy changing the outlook of our airports to the credit of Mr. President while some hirelings are disgracefully distributing syndicated falsehood”, the statement said. http://www.championonlinenews.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=13680:leave-stella-oduah-alone-aka-ikenga-warns-critics&Itemid=393&lang=en |
ACM10: Peter Obi seems to run out of ideas on how to govern Anambra. His boy, Obiano is bereft of ideas too. We just can't stay the course. We must change direction. We can't continue to prop up Fidelity bank with money meant for Anambrarians. Ain't it suspicious the way Peter Obi engineered the rise of Obiano? Believe me, Peter Obi has done more harm to us in recent time than the Yorubas. Remember the shoot at sight order, remember Ezu river saga, remember that he is building a multi-billion naira mall in Abuja and so on. Also, Peter Obi introduced the concept of zoning in Anambra. We must reject division by not voting for his boy. On the other, we must reject politicians with criminal tendencies. The only option left for us is Ngige. Remember that his only crime is belonging to the wrong party. Shall we throw the water in the bathtub with the baby?nwanne God bless you for this unbiased post. Its high time we started being truthful to ourselves. Peter Obi has done more harm to igbos in recent times than yorubas. Obianos candidacy is more of advancing his personal interest than that of Anambra people and indeed igbos. If the deportation saga had to do with GEJ, Peter Adaobi would have done the same thing Ngige did. And we must stop deceiving ourselves with this APGA being igbo party bullsh1t. Anyway the average man in Anambra cares about antecedents |
PDP will announce their new candidate today, until then, if the candidate does not impress the Chris Ngige has my support. say no to godfatherism, say no to fidelity bank, say no to a man whose manifesto is 100% football. lol. do not be deceived by propagand. The next 4 years is at stake |
biafranqueen: Those are all FG roads and he built a brand new secretariatHow come these new FG roads propaganda are only peculiar to Anambra, I guess people like you will not tidy the entrance to your house because it belongs to the government. smh |
why 650 million to a university in the south east and 1.2 billion to a university in the south west? After they will say igbos cannot stay in their region |
Chino how come Anambra does not have a government house according to this report http://247ureports.com/photonews-peter-obis-failure-in-anambra-government-house-awka/ |
Donjazzy12: Nairaland's foremost uncontested GEJ A5slicker! From 2010 to 2013 in your sick mind is up to four year abi? After telling all these lies it really baffles me how you are able to sleep soundly at night and attend church and even pray without any qualms. I sincerely hope you are not a reprobate lost soul!Even GEJ will distance himself from that shameless fool. He doesn't have any relationship with GEJ. He was simply hired by Peter obi, the bigger azzlicker. |
