Rossikk: You're an embarassment. PwC has all the resources its needs to undertake financial research and make economic projections, and asking ''what business'' one of the world's major financial institutions has projecting economies, is truly the height of illiteracy. Kindly stop embarrassing yourself.

Excerpts:

PricewaterhouseCoopers (trading as PwC) is a multinational professional services firm headquartered in London, United Kingdom.[2] It is the world's largest professional services firm and the largest of the "Big Four" accountancy firms measured by 2012 revenues.[5]
PwC has offices in 776 cities across 158 countries and employs over 180,000 people.[4] It had total revenues of $31.5 billion in FY 2012, of which $14.9 billion was generated by its Assurance practice, $7.9 billion by its Tax practice and $8.7 billion by its Advisory practice.[4]
The firm was formed in 1998 by a merger between Coopers & Lybrand and Price Waterhouse.[1] The trading name was shortened to PwC in September 2010 as part of a major rebranding exercise.[6]
As of 2012 PwC United States is the fifth-largest privately owned organization in the United States.

negro please, PWC is an accounting firm at best, they should stick to their job. Am not an illiterate ok? I don't accept everything because of names attached, Nigeria has lived through several projections from even more credible organizations in the past and still in deep shhhit. The one I believe is the one that says over a hundred million Nigerians live on less than $2 dollars a day. That is what you see when you walk the streets of Nigeria. for you to think Nigeria will lead world economies in just 2050 here without any stable electricity in 2015 is a huge joke and only fables that appeal to light brained individuals like you!

Rossikk: Oh, and Nigeria IS growing economically following on past projections. Recent World Bank pronouncements indicate falling poverty rates, and an expanding middle class. Not that a drunk like you would notice.
The usual Nigerian pass time of living on newspaper articles and clippings while the entire populace is fast receding to economic depression. Nothing on ground to show the things on newspaper columns

Rossikk: Look at this unemployed drug addict calling PriceWaterhouse Coopers a ''jobless junk organisation''. Pray, what does that make you?
you are a morooon. Tell me the business PWC has with projecting economies? An accounting firm. What is their precedence with these projections before you start getting your diccck in a bunch. And you must lack comprehension skills to misquote my post. I will not do you the favor of explaining the statement. Just wrap these your projections from pwc and use it to smoke your shhitt as usual psychopath!

The sages at PwC forecast that between now and 2050:

Lol....... at people and their warped reasoning. How can we post pictures to show obi is not working, the entire state is a mess. The picture is the state. Dirty, dusty, narrow roads without proper drainage, unplanned etc. There is no govt presence, if you say otherwise then give us proof by pictures. we can all agree Akpabio is putting in work and we have seen pictures of mega projects to believe that is not to say the state has been totally developed but he has played his part. show us what petty and confused Peter obi has done in 8 years. Show us petty projects that is fit to be built by a councilor. I laugh at somebody mentioning udoka and Abuja estates that were built before Peter obi came to power. I heard he is still struggling to build one ngozika estate for 8 years and the quality of the said estate when compared to udoka is a childs play. Peter obi is the definition of mediocrity

Why did Obi not widen the roads as he is building them.......lemme guess....... Anambra will not have enough money to fund larger roads?
I really hope you have never mistook obi praise singers on NL to be genuine. Its only a set of individuals that do the praises on any given thread just like eko ile does for Lagos which makes them paid agents.
The truth is that Peter Obi has failed woefully. He is too petty and umambitious to lead a state howbeit Anambra. The entire state reeks of substandard and absent infrastructure, Any project obi has managed to do are so mediocre and wont be around in the next 2 years. Road dualisation, expansion and urban beautification is not in his dictionary. In education he only paints a classroom block in schools in the state and he is done. Everybody wants him to hurry up and leave. He is unpopular in the state. He has stocked all state funds in his bank Fidelity and collecting all interests accruing in the name of saving for the state. No LG elections for 8 years, Awka the capital is a mess and grossly disorganized, No housing estates, nothing!

afam4eva: You can't say a governor is working after alluding that it's mainly roads that he has built and those roads are roads connecting the country side.

I also want to believe that Peter Obi has done well in building rural roads even though these roads are camera shy. But that's not a reason whyy we should give him a pass mark. He's left other things unattended to. If Peter Obi was ruling an Ebonyi, i would have given him a pass mark but this is Anambra we're talking about and Anambra is not a state where you build roads and we'll see he has performed.

Really, i can't wait for Obi's tenure to be over so that a more ambitious governor will take over.
nuff said! that confused man is too petty to be a governor. the state is on lockdown. everybody is praying for his tenure to be over.

Publish Lagos Accounts, Lagos State PDP
Tells Fashola
Leadership of Lagos Peoples Democratic
Party (PDP) has increased its tempo of
criticism of the ruling Action Congress of Nigeria
(ACN) administration"
Dependable sources revealed that there
are emerging indications that the
Setongi Koshoedo-led PDP in the State is
poised to confront the Governor over
perceived coercive sources of revenue
and processes of expenditures, in recent
times.
For example, National Daily learnt that
the Lagos PDP is perturbed by suspected
duplication of taxes being collected, as
well as loans raised by Fashola, which
runs into several billions of Naira.
The PDP is understood to be worried
that such a practice had been noticeable,
over the years, “without any inkling of
the actual amount of monies involved.”
Our source said that the duplicated
taxes have caused “unbearable
hardships on th residents of the state.”
An insider spoke in a manner suggesting
that “the revenue drive of the
incumbent governor of Lagos State has
defied basic moral standards and is
beginning to threaten the contract of
governance between Fashola and the
people.”
It is perceived that “not only have the
costs of doing business in the state risen,
the cost of living has also gone beyond
the reach of the residents.”
Our source maintained that citizens
residing in Lagos “are yet, in the real
sense., to receive value or service
delivery proportional to the revenue
generated by the Governor in the past
years.
As a result competent sources close to
the PDP said, “We can no longer watch
or allow these practices to continue,
unchallenged.”
As a result, sources said, “the PDP will
confront Governor Fashola with
everything within its reach to restore
sanity to the state and revive confidence
in the people of Lagos State on good
governance.”
But some AC members, who spoke on
the condition of anonymity, admitted
that “there is a seeming lack of due
process in both revenue generation and
expenditure by Governor Fashola.”
They claimed that “in most instances,
Fashola does not consult the State
House of Assembly before spending the
state funds.”
They alleged that most issues bordering
on tax collection and expenditure “ are
being done in secret by the governor.”
Such an indulgence, they contended,
“has raised monumental concerns among
several ACN chieftains, essentially, when
most contracts are awarded without
transparency and to selected few.”
Meanwhile, Former Governor of the
state, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is
believed to “be considering alternative
candidate for the 2011 governorship
poll.”
Investigations revealed that Alhaji Muiz
Banire, the State Commissioner for
Environment and the Speaker of the
State House of Assembly are suspected
to be seriously warming up to contest
the governorship primaries under the ACN
platform the ACN, come 2011

Eko Ile: Sometimes I feel sorry for the mumu people and their con men leaders.

Let's break it down...

Anambra's budget for 2013 is N110 billion and this is the highest so far.

So let's say Anambra's budget for the past six years = N110 billion/year.

So let's add 110 x 6 = N660 billion for the past 6 years

Meaning the state's budget for six years is 660 billion, but the governo said he invested $15 billion = N2 trillion

The question now is, the $15 billion/N2 trillion came from where considering the fact that they are saying they didn't borrow any money.

Obviously, somebody is lying and scheming... lmao

smh....
methinks you should worry about your con artist boss Fashola caught red handed trying to claim honor for a private project belonging to Coscharis. Even going as far as changing the company name to CG. meaning coscharis group so that fools wont decipher the meaning. grin grin grin grin

Almajiri schools: Osun govt
debunks insinuations of non-
compliance

THE Osun State government has
debunked insinuations that the state did
not comply with the policy directives of
the Federal Government on the
establishment of Almajiri schools in
designated states of the federation.
A national newspaper had, at the
weekend, quoted the Minister of State
for Education, Mr Nyesom Wike, as saying
that Osun State had defaulted on the
Federal Government’s policy directives
guiding the establishment of Almajiri
schools.
However, in a press release signed by
Tope Ademakinwa, the Chief Press
Secretary to the Osun State deputy
governor, which was made available to
the Nigerian Tribune on Monday, the
Osun State government denied the
allegation.
The release said contrary to the assertion
of the Minister of State for Education, the
state had complied with the policy
directives.
The release added that, not only had the
site for the school in the state been
approved by the state government and
formally communicated to the Universal
Basic Education Comission’s (UBEC) office
in Abuja, the contractor of the site,
Subbanchi Nigeria Limited was named by
UBEC Abuja, to execute the construction.
To clear all doubts, the release also added
that Governor Rauf Aregbesola haD
approved Zumuratul Mumina Al-Adabiya
Arabic School, Osogbo, to be the site for
the location of UBEC 2012 Almajri model
school project.
