5minsmadness: Lol, na money mata na. . The man is the natural provider of the house. He's more or less in charge of finances. When things go broke he can no longer perform his function. This makes him irritable cos deep down he feels he's letting himself and those around him down. He tries to cut back on expenses. He also tries to forget that he's broke.
A wife reminds him of these things constantly. She's the one who will ask him for money for soup or hair or remind him that the school fees have not been paid. All these things make him realise his position more and he gets pissed off and irritable.
I know of a woman whose father was a drunkard. He would spend all his money drinking. When this woman got married anytime her husband goes into a financial dive it is then she starts asking for money up and down. You see, she felt that whenever money was scarce her husband would spend the little he had drinking instead of putting it into the family way. She was acting up from what her father had done to her mother. The husband doesn't drink but was pissed at why her demands increased everytime he was financially down instead of decreasing. It led to a couple of fights and took some counselling before they both realised what was triggering her behaviour and his responding aggression.
If your husband is irritable during lack, bear with him. Reduce your demands or stop outright if u can fend for yourself. We are all human and can't be at our peak performance all the time. Give him space. A good man will know what you are doing and appreciate you for it, even reward you afterwards sef when the going gets better again. Ah, 5minsmadness, we miss you on www.mynigerianewspaper.com. Where have you been bro? |

Politics › Ministerial List: Buhari Only Sent 21 Names, To Send Other Before Tuesday by Freelancer007(op): 9:19pm On Sep 30, 2015 |
A source told Vanguard that instead of thirty – six names, President Buhari sent twenty – one names as Ministerial nominees to the Senate President, with plans to send others very early on Tuesday before plenary session.
Senate President Saraki received the long awaited ministerial list from the Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari at 4.59 pm.
The Chief of Staff to the President was accompanied to Saraki’s office by the Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly Matters, Senator Ita Enang.
There was a new twist to the submission of Ministerial list to the Senate as it was received directly by the Senate President and brought by the Chief of Staff to the President as against the tradition where the office of the Senate President through the registry receives it from the Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly Matter( Senate). http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/09/ministerial-list-buhari-only-sent-21-names-to-send-other-before-tuesday/ |

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Is There No Christianity For Christians Section by Freelancer007(m): 9:11am On Sep 27, 2015 |
Seun: I'm thinking of merging the Muslim section with the religion section. People who insult any religion will be banned. What do you think? Pls bro, don't do that! Leave the Islam section as it is and create a Christian section strictly for the Christians too. Then the Religion section can be a place for all religions to discuss together. Hope you get it? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Is There No Christianity For Christians Section by Freelancer007(m): 9:57am On Sep 26, 2015 |
Seun did that to protect the Islam section from constant abuse. No religion should be attacked- be it Islam, Christianity or traditional religion.
In all, I think everybody should be free to practice their religion without fear or any act of injustice. |
