I agree... but in all fairness he should be stripped of that doctorate title since he didn't complete the doctorate program. Instead, the title "Mr" would now be more appropriate.

Obasanjo said that incumbent President

The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger
Delta (MEND) today threw its support behind the
presidential candidate of the All Progressive
Congress (APC), General Mohammadu Buhari,
saying Goodluck Jonathan deserves “not a
second more” in the presidency.
A statement signed by Jomo Gbomo said the
group’s decision to support General Mohammadu
Buhari arises from the pathetic state in which the
country has been put by the government of Mr.
Jonathan and its strong belief in General Buhari
as the man and change the country needs.
“It is very clear that the Niger Delta region now
regrets voting a corrupt and incompetent leader
who they believed would [bring] transformation to
the region, in spite of our earlier warnings about
Goodluck Jonathan,” MEND said. “He (Goodluck
Jonathan) has only succeeded in infecting the
region with poverty, corruption and mal-
administration. This is our chance not to repeat
this costly blunder of 2011.”
It challenged every Niger Deltan to ask
themselves if the region is any better under
Goodluck Jonathan than it was under a sick Late
President Musa Yar'Adua. We are convinced that
the people of the Niger Delta have woken up to
realise that voting Goodluck Jonathan simply
because of tribe, was the biggest mistake they
made.”
MEND said President Jonathan does not deserve
a second more in the presidency as soon as his
tenure expires as he has continuously and
blatantly disregarded the very people who voted
him into office.
“A President that told Nigerian to their faces that
he does not “give a damn” when asked to declare
his assets. A requirement that is constitutional on
assuming the office of the President.”
It recalled that Mr. Jonathan, since assuming his
office, has setup countless number of
“Committees”, none of which their reports has
ever been implemented. From the Nuhu Ribadu
report to the KPMG and Fuel Subsidy reports, just
to mention a few.
“How can Nigerians expect a highly corrupt
person like Goodluck Jonathan to fight corruption

wife - Her excellency, Mrs. Bimbola Fashola - for
this very kind invitation.
I am happy to note that this yearly thanksgiving -
although it is a Christian service, yet it brings
together Nigerians of all faiths. Christians, Muslims
and those of other faiths gather here annually, just
to thank the Almighty God. This is as should be.
Religion must never be used as an excuse to
divide, to oppress others, or to gain unfair
advantage.
All my life, I have expressed the belief that all
Nigerians must be free to worship God according
to their beliefs.
The duty of government is not religion. The duty of
government is to ensure peace and security for all
Nigerians regardless of tribe, race or religion.
This is the commitment that we all must make
especially on this day of thanksgiving.
The Nigeria of our dreams is one where, we can all
sit like this and rejoice together, and thank God
together.
The Almighty God will help us to achieve that
country of our dreams.

I am no party affiliate but a true Nigerian passionate for the success of the Nigerian project. I am for truth and justice to all irrespective of tribal, ethno-religious affiliations. Sincerely, Jonathan failed us as a country. There is no single one of his campaign promises that have been fulfilled till date. Let us try somebody else!

Like seriously , please emphasize how Aregbe destroyed GEJ, Omisore , PDP last august , they went as far as deploying 40,000 security men , DSS , Mpolice , Nscdc , even touts wearing uniforms were used , 10,000 sniffer dogs , Osunstate was locked down for 3 days ,whereas no riots , no fights , no bombs , no explosions , they just wanted to intimidate residents

There's power in words and its good to have a good reputation , Aregbesola said they learnt of plans to intimidate and arrest APC members , he stressed that no one should be afraid , he said even if he AregbeSola gets arrested , citizens should go out enmass and vote for APC

And truly when these security outfits came , they massed up , They , under the order and support from GEJ arrested lots of prominent APC members , they tried to arrest / assassinate Adeleke of Ede , the one and Only , that was the last straw , 3-4 former state governors teamed up with Aregbe , just as 3-4 ex presidents now back GMB

They tried to rig, they almost succeeded in rigging in favor of Omisore , every suspect caught with live and sensitive voting materials and weapons across the state was PDP member , residents caught two people who confessed their mission and were taken to a headquarters in Osogbo I think , All news stations including coretv news , channels and ,Osun TV : OSBC ,NTA Osogbo , had broadcasted the pictures and confessions of these suspects , then order came from the top to release the suspects



Anyways , we know they will attempt to rig this coming election , and they are trying to intimidate us with Warships even though Nigerian Army still can't purchase weapons

Trying intimidate us with tompolo and agoati Dokubo and the mend and massob , threatning us with Biafra and blaming the north

This year We will disgrace Jonathan , and if his clans want war , that's what they'll get. Enough is enough

Well, I don't doubt the fact that Linda has enough money to give away. But I also think it will be more credible if she could ask her beneficiaries to write a thank you message on the linda ikeji blogsite just to show that her giveaway is real. At least, doing so will encourage others to participate.
