Actually this has been long overdue. How can this ICC wait till lives are lost before they start thinking whether to prosecute or not? they had better not sweep this under the carpet. What is good for the goose, is good for the ganders. We want to start seeing people take responsibility for careless statements made as ICC is not in place for tea party.. |
opaopae:You are an He-diot for posting such nonsense on a forum likethis |
Mhen, That guy is the best minister Nigeria produced in this outgoing administration. We need a few like you for the economy |

Wait, i dont understand something.... What is the difference between Buhari and his Party APC? cos right now the way they contradict themselves is alarming... Back to the topic. Buhari should check it, so his administration doesn't end before it even begins. You're the president of all, whether good or bad. If there are criminals, yes, you're their president too.... Get used to it bro! |
smh... Just tell me, as ugly, fat, amoeba-ish and old as you are which man will consciously marry you?? Nigeria celebrities deceiving themselves since time immemorial. Just live your life with your three kids and when the time to die comes, you can regret on your dying bed thinking of the explanation you will tell God for sleeping around during the ripe time of your life and illegal giving birth to three kids. Wish you goodluck ![]() The poster below me is high sha.... How can you call someone God created an elephant ![]() |
Lubbish.... in that list, Boko haram should me sixth! ![]() |

OP i heartily support you on this... Employers no longer want to take responsibility, they just want to keep gathering wealth while their employees suffer with no future nor savings plans. Its already so rampant in our career circle that the new government has to urgently cub this menace and stop it from subsequently happening while ensuring those on contract be made permanent. I currently work as a contract staff with a company partly owned by the government and the director of the company still the owner of the contract firm. Isn't that daylight robbery ![]() I hope the government hear our cry and do something about it when they finally settle while i urge the mods to pls take this thread up to the FP so our voices be heard.... thanks |

VirginFinder:Am shaking my head for your life.... i hope you don't get to just reap this statement you're sowing sooner than later.... and hope you'll stay in Lagos for the rest of your life else!!! |
onyebuchiokafor:well, nobody is blaming Ambode, let to me, I'll day the Oba should shut up already. that guy is ruining Ambode's campaign seriously... Obviously Ambode has a very great chance of winning even without all this stunts by the Oba.... The oba really should just shut up if he doesn't have what to say or do rather than spoil the work Ambode is doing.... politics is without bitterness jare! |
raumdeuter:Listen to yourself, can you see how hatred, jealousy and stupidity is oozing from you perhaps you've tried a business and it failed hence your statements. No wonder the white still treats us like trash and racism can never end, when even in our own country we are racist. may God forgive you this night...I hope to see every reasonable Nigerian's especially the Yoruba's come out to condemn what the oba is doing because it is a breeding ground for racism and violence. Very soon the igbos will retaliate and the trend will go on in every part of the country if this is not stopped now. Godbless Nigeria |
ayindejimmy:bros, let's call a spade a spade. whether GEJ closed alaba market doesn't matter, what matters here is ordering people and compelling them to attend the rally. Closing the shops around is not my problem. Why not let them use their free will to attend or otherwise? this political compulsion is ridiculous... |
DrMuzoic:let's just pray its not true as you say but people have confirmed it to be true... |
Its actually true as confirmed by hope for Nigeria... I just hope politics in Lagos doesn't beget another hatred along ethnic lines... Be you Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa or any other tribe, pls we are all one... |
I saw this on Facebook on hope for Nigeria's page and i decided to share: Hope For Nigeria at Idumota Market, Lagos B-R-E-A-K-I-N-G News!!! Oba Of Lagos Locks Up IdumotaTraders Shops And Orders Them To Go To Ambode's Rally. **Oba's thugs ordered us to shut our shops. They gave us 10 minutes to Lock and join waiting Buses to Ambode's rally in Orile Hundreds of shop owners, especially of Igbo, were reportedly forced to shut-down their shops at the Idumota Market, Lagos Island and ordered to go and join the APC candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode . This is coming when the Lagos monarch is under heavy criticism for threatening to deal with Igbo residents of Lagos if they ddid not vote for his APC candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode. One of the traders in an sms message to reporters said, “We arrived Idumota market to our shops as early as 8am. Shortly after, some thugs came, ordering us shut our shops on the orders of Oba Akiolu. They gave us 10 minutes to hurriedly close shops and join the waiting vehicles parked in front of his palace, and heading to Orile, venue of Ambode’s campaign led by the President-elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari.” Some of the Igbo traders who deal on pharmaceutical products in the market said when they arrived the market, some messengers informed them that Oba Akiolu ordered everyone to close shop and join buses numbering over 100. A Pharmaceutical products dealer, said: “We were shocked at what happened today (Tuesday) in Idumota market. When we got to the market, we were caught unawares by a purported order from the Oba of Lagos, directing all traders to close shop and join a bus heading for Ambode’s campaign. “We were shocked by this directive, because we were never informed the previous day (Monday) about this directive. More worrisome is the fact that I lost millions of Naira because of this self-serving coercion by the Oba.” Another pharmaceutical products dealer, said: “I feel this recent forceful directive by the Oba is in fulfillment of his recent threat to deal with Ndigbo if they fail to vote for his preferred candidate. But as far as I am concerned, no amount of threat or coercion will deter me from making my choice at the forthcoming governorship election in Lagos State.” Some Igbo traders view the monarch’s order as not unconnected with the campaign of Ambode in the Orile axis of the state. President-elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari and other APC national leaders were in Lagos today to lead the campaign train. - Hope For Nigeria . Please be informed of an impending security exercise tagged “SHOW OF FORCE” by government security agencies across the country. Exercise is being carried out as part of efforts to ensure maximum security before, during and after the forthcoming general elections. Thus, kindly find below important information and security tips. 1. As at today, the Nigeria Police Force and other relevant security agencies have been put on high alert and they are expected to conduct periodic and random searches on people, vehicles and various hotspots. Thus, we are therefore advised to cooperate with them during this period; do not abuse security agents, obstruct their work, or resist them unnecessarily to avoid unfortunate repercussions. We have been informed that the Show of Force exercise also authorizes a Shoot-at-Sight order, if necessary 2. There will be restricted movement of people in the hours leading to, and during the March 28th Presidential elections andApril 11th Gubernatorial elections. Thus, we are advised to observe and comply with these directives for our personal safety 3. We are advised to adequately stock our homes with required food items during the election period, in case of emergencies, imposed curfews or other threats that may arise after the elections 4. If you are registered to vote and have your Permanent Voters Card, you are advised to go early to the Polling Centers, get accredited, cast your votes and leave the vicinity immediately for your homes to await the results 5. Please do not cluster around polling centers and stay away from groups and bunch of people, no matter the discussion or incident that may have attracted them together 6. Begin now to gather information about your environment and feel the pulse around your intended voting center. Study your polling unit, and if it's packed with miscreants, thugs and unknown faces, steer clear; remember that your life matters more than the vote 7. Dress responsibly and avoid adorning any political attire, party logos etc. to prevent mistaken identity and possible victimization. Please remember that no campaign is allowed during elections. Avoid wearing politically branded T shirts, caps or bearing handbills, posters, pamphlets and banners of candidates. This can pose as a risk. 8. Avoid joining in on inciting discussions at the voting center which may be capable of fanning the embers of political discord amongst the political parties and their agents 9. Stay away from parked cars and abandoned packages, luggage etc. 10. Do not buy drinks, snacks, etc. around polling centers, nor should you share/receive consumables or gifts from anyone at the polling centers. If you sense danger or suspect any foul play, report to the approved Security Agents. Don’t take the law into your own hands! 11. Avoid taking your vehicle, kids or expensive jewelries and other personal belongings to the polling centers 12. As part of security arrangements, church halls should be vacated after every church service within 1 hour. Brethren should not be allowed to hang or cluster around the church hall or entrances after services or programs 13. Vehicles should not be allowed to park close to the entrances of the church facilities for pick up or drop off You are encouraged to be extra-vigilant and law-abiding during this period. Further information will be provided as the elections draw near. Take this information very seriously. Pass to every member of your family and friends you truly care about. Best Regards, |

This isn't the first time I'll go request for my pvc as a citizen of this dear country to exercise my right to vote my choice candidate. I've gone several times with the "come back so so" day response. After getting the same response the third time, i was asked to come today as the pvc for the polling unit were i registered will be available. I travelled down once again to Auchi as i don't stay there, on getting there i met people as usual looking for their pvc just like me. After much standing on queue without anyone attending to us, someone finally came to tell us that the pvc for unit 10 has been returned to Abuja. That was insulting, i insisted to know why and she said that it was a directive from Abuja. It wasn't just about me, so many of us have been disenfranchised. A Barrister insisted he was gonna sue them, but you know Nigeria. I want those involved and the authorities or their allies to look critically into this mess. Many people are still there and its not just applicable to my polling unit but many others cant find their card. Did it disappear? What happened? they had better bring it back from where it is. This shouldn't even be heard nor spoken of. Please whoever knows who knows who should inform them till it gets to Inec that alot of us at Auchi are being disenfranchised. they should be aware they are infringing on our human right. Please mode help me push this up for proper attention. Thanks |
Freest:Thanks all. I learnt alot and have made decisions that have helped me. NL is still one great family. The insults made me think, the commendations gave me directions. Am indeed grateful i could count on you guys |
