Why would I need to "ask" when God already has a plan "to give" or "not to give"? Does God have a plan B, (i.e. "If he asks I'll give him, if he doesn't I won't"?).

I've never seen a more contradictory book in my entire life, a person that knows all our predicament yet, u still have to remind him severally. Then, i think he's nothing close to being omnipotent. He's just an illusion some people create and our people gullibly follow without any questioning. Now imagine, if some of those things they pray for eventually come their way, then their prayers have been answered, and if it goes the other way round, they believe it's his will. Proly it might cause their death or make 'em pull away from him. Xtains and excuses. Smdh.

Matthew 7:7 ask and it shall be given. I made reference to that cus while i was a xtain, i pray and fast a lot. It got to a point in time, i had to stop cus all the things i ask and pray for never come my way. It's just a mere waste of time. Precious one for that matter.

As far as I'm concerned, anybody that believes hell fire exists should be able to believe anything. Just imagine, only those that believe in Jesus and act accordingly will go to heaven and those That do not believe are automatically Condemned to eternal damnation. Even being a xtain isn't guaranteed @ all. All these religious folks, don't you think it's high time u emancipated yourselves from mental slavery and start thinking with your brains. These places( heaven and hell) are just imaginary. They don't exist. I can't even believe I've once believed this. Damn! So as regards your question op. Is he actually willing to answer prayers but unable to. My over more than two decades on earth, oddly enough those things i pray for don't usually come my way. I could remember a particular incident in which burglars came to our house when i was 8 years old, i did everything almost right except being very playful which is inherent in most kids. So that night, i prayed to god to please if at all the burglars gain entrance into our house which they eventually did that he shouldn't let them touch any of my family members. Omo the rest na story oo, a scary one that wouldn't wanna hear tho'. Well, after the incident, we shrugged it off and moved on. And at this juncture in my life,i looked @ my life in retrospect and realised does he even give a shit 'bout me? with all happenings and incidents all over the world and my personal experience has obviously shown there's no god, let alone the one that answers prayer.
