chart pattern analysis for gbp/jpy

spotted an upside down heads and shoulders formation.

Chart pattern analysis for aud/usd

identified ascending triangles in both 4hr and weekly chart.

there was a breakout of the triangle on the 4hr. looks like price is heading back into the triangle. should that be the case, we can say it was a false breakout.

and the break and test of  .0683 support will prompt us to go short.

also noticed a macd divergence on this time frame. (see first chart)

looking at things from the bigger picture, there is an ascending triangle on the weekly.

should there be a downward breakout of the 4hr triangle, the weekly trendline should be out target. (see 2nd chart attached for details)

NB: I'm not pulling the trigger until .0683 is broken.

pulled the trigger on your chf/jpy alert at 83.17. was waiting for it to get to my pivot 83.04, 1 pip short of your pending order

it's definitely heads and shoulders.

you see these chart patterns are not fail proof.

besides, with the economic turnoil from the euro zone, any news from there will defile any chart pattern

like we all know, nothing is guaranteed in this business. you expect price to go north, it goes south.

just attached another chart showing channel break out on the eu

complementing the heads and shoulders pattern. thus, confirming price reversal.

adjusted my tp to .2934

why the tight sl? good question

should the downfall we saw today was as a result of news, price could well head north when news effect wears out

expecting usd/cad to plummet.

identified a descending triangle on the daily chart. price just broke off the pattern.

should price go back into the pattern, then i'll consider it as a false breakout and lick my wounds.

Nice call on EJ. Whats your target again? cos I'm raking in the pips too cos of your call.
You keep losing on the EN pair because, although the trend on Higher TF is down, the pair on lower TF like 4h-15mins is solely dependent on the movement btwn EU/GU and NU/AU. That's the downward trend would continue only if EU is falling and NU is rising up or EU falls faster than NU (if both are falling) or both rises up but NU rises faster than EU. Same goes with EA,GN and GA. I only place trades on these pairs because of their volatility in just a short time and on occasions when there is crisis or bad news in Europe affecting the EU and GU but not the AU and NU. Hope this helps. Just my opinion.
