@swiftz hello, you disappeared since october. where on earth have you been. anyway, welcome back. |
sold eur/nzd at 1.5970 target 1.5795 sorry, no chart to attach. the last three trades i placed on this pair were losses. hope i've gotten it right this time around. Been stalking usd/cad. waiting for trade to setup. will surely send the alert when i pull the trigger. PRICE IS KING. FOLLOW IT WHEREVER IT GOES. |
eur/jpy chart pattern analysis. Noticed a falling wedge pattern forming on the monthly chart. falling wedge pattern in a downtrend can be characterised as a reversal pattern. So we should expect an upside breakout of the pattern somewhere around 114.50. price is at 99.56 currently, at the blue support line. (see chart attached) since we're expecting an upside breakout, then price should head north. to trade this patttern, you have to wait for price to breakout first. And price is expected to breakout somewhere around 114.00 region. from where price is now and that high we have over 1000 pips. so just wondering while waiting for price to break, why don't i see how to catch may be 800pips of that up move. so when i noticed the macd divergence, it was the confirmation i needed that price is indeed bound to head north. pulled the trigger at 99.53 and my first target is 105.70. roughly 600pip profit. NB; nothing is guaranteed. Price could well do the opposite. PRICE IS KING. FOLLOW IT WHEREVER IT GOES.

aguiyi:loot indeed! ![]() i'm live with alpari and marketiva. i wiped my fxpro account march last year. i wasn't hurt by that spike. i use their platform for reference purposes for the meantime. though their spreads are quite competitive and hardly any requote. |
stalking eur/jpy right now. waiting for it to retrace to somewhere around 99.40 to 99.30 i'll then go long and target 102.50. giving us over 300 pips macd divergence on the montly chart. very powerful. pulled the trigger on eur/nzd yesterday. it's in negative yet again. wondering why i can't get it right with this pair this year. |
aguiyi:now, that's surprising |
our eu 1.2970 target was hit yesterday. price retracing as expected. if it breaks 1.2870 support then i'll be thinking short and targeting 1.2525 = roughly 250pips profit should it fail to break that support then i'll be thinking long and targeting 1.3070, roughly 140 pips profit. like i pointed out yesterday, this is a broadening bottom pattern. so we should be expecting an upside breakout. so it's very very likely price will head north after all. I acually traded a broadening bottom pattern on the eur/jpy and my tp was hit with a nice profit of 266 pips. I gave the alert here on the 16th and the trade closed yesterday. i don't know if anyone noticed. unfortunately i didn't attach a chart. so, i want to attach the chart now, so you see how the broadening bottom played out. it broke out from the upside. my target was 99.30 but it went as high as 99.90 when you study the eu/jpy chart (see chart attached) you see why i strongly believe eu will head north and probably hit .03070 the first chart is the eur/usd while the 2nd is the eur/jpy that i've attached to further explain how this pattern works NB: nothing is guaranteed in the biz. price could well do the opposite. I equally attached eur/gbp monthly chart from fx open for you to see the difference. Only God knows what fxpro is up to. let me know what your charts are saying on this pair. may God deliver us from the hands of these brokers.

my chart patten analysis for cad/chf sorry i'm posting this late. actually i pulled the trigger 3days back at .9362. I didn't wait for the pattern to form fully. I saw a pinocchio nose that made me pull the trigger. Ideally, i should have waited till neck of the pattern is broken. i think i got lucky. so why i'm i posting it now. the triple top pattern i was envisaging then, has fully formed. the baseline (or neck) has been broken, thus confirming it as a triple top pattern. an ideal entry for this trade should have been .9235. was so choked up with offline stuff yesterday so i didn't see it till this morning. as i'm typing price is at 0.9200. we can still catch 100pips. (see chart for details) PRICE IS KING. FOLLOW IT WHEREVER IT GOES.

@wisdomxy thanks |
dboy365:sir, it's gbp/chf i was referring to. pleasedashme@yahoo.com |
just as posted in the morning, eu heading towards .2970 roughly 70pips to hit target. already placed a sell limit order at .2970. looking forward to take some pips as it retraces. my sell limit order on gold taken this morning at 1670. so far so good +144pips for the 3rd time this week my eur/nzd trade hits SL. |
silibaba:if you're a scalper, ok. i'm actually short on that pair, entered at 1.4517 two days ago. targeting 1.4334 |
chart pattern analysis on eur/usd Just identified a broadening bottom chart pattern on the 4hr. (see chart below) price is presently at 1.2859. I'm expecting it to head to 1.2970. an upside breakout is usually expected with this pattern. i'll then wait for a retracement. if price then goes up and breaks the 1.2970, and tests it, then i'll go long and target .3060 Though if price hits 1.2970 as expected, and then falls and breaks and tests 1.2864, i'll go short and target 1.2525 Though I strongly believe when it hits .2970 it will crash. NB: i'm yet to pull the trigger. I'll be watching out for candlestick patterns to give me a clue on price direction as time goes on. like i always say, nothing is guaranteed in this business. Anything can happen. PRICE IS KING. FOLLOW IT WHEREVER IT GOES.

just been wondering, where's swiftz. she just disappeared. hope she's ok |
been stalking gold waiting for it to hit 1669. it will be hitting the weekly trendline at that price. hoping that the weekly trendline resistance will stop it from heading north. hoping to go short at that price. i think gold is about to crash. I could be wrong. just waiting. patience is the key. odiaero, what's your take on this pair. |
are we ready for season 4 |
thanks blog icon. already +50 on the nzd/jpy, 50 to go. chart pattern analysis for gbp/chf trade taken purely on price action. noticed the breakout of a rising wedge on the daily chart. actually pulled the trigger yesterday at 1.4575 targeting 1.4334 = 242pips Is it too late to enter? well i just opened another position. we can still catch 200pips. see chart attached. blog icon thanks for the alert. after analysing the the pairs, i decided to equally join you in the nz/jpy trade at 61.34. i don't think it's too late. your tp is 160pips. i can still catch 100pips. it's likely to even exceed that target thanks once again. |
hello folks, just want to draw your attention to something disturbing. has anyone found out that candlestick patterns differ from broker to broker? i have attached below three charts (aud/nzd) on the 1hr time frame from alpari, fxopen and fxpro look at the candles in the big circle. see the resistance line i drew in all the charts. pay more attention on the the last 3candles and tell me what you think. noticed that alpari's is different from the other 2 just wondering if the spike on the last candle on the alpari chart is a SL hunting manoeuvre.

@Blog icon welcome back. missed your trade alerts. just pulled the trigger on aud/chf at 0.9364 SL 0.9400 TP 0.9246 Trade taken based on the 4hr time frame. it has hit the 0.9373 resistance 3times now. (should i call it a triple top) macd divergence on the same time frame. pinocchio nose (pinbar) on the 4hr indicating price rejection of .9373 see chart below. equally pulled trigger on eur/jpy at 97.24 SL 96.92 TP 99.30 noticed a doji on the weekly. noticed macd divergence on the weekly and daily. sorry no chart for illustration. hope i'm right. had too many losses last week. it appears the beginning of every year something happens. january 2011, the revolutionary virus started from tunisia, then egypt, libya. january 2012, nigeria seems to have been infested by the virus. what happened in north africa will surely spur us. times have changed. the people are forcefully getting what they want. FG really underestimated the power of the masses. FG should be very careful. Because after this week, it will not just be fuel subsidy alone that the masses will be agitating for. they'll include other things and the list will keep increasing. |
Princek12:i agree with you on this point. But one thing you fail to understand is that if america stops doing business with china, china's economy will surely suffer, likewise that of the US. Can the US wake up one morning and say they'r no longer doing business with china? CAPITAL NO They won't dare it. |
Nigeria is number one when it comes to carving out great policies. We then get it all wrong when it's time to implement them. |
Seun, how did this topic get to the front page. when there is crisis in the country, golf is making the headlines. |

isn't the insecurity in the nation more important than fuel subsidy |
Why do most of us have this idealistic notion of how things were in the "olden days" we say women were more well behaved and virtuous "back in the days." Do you really think that this is true? I'm currently reading a book first published in 1875 and found a quote from the book. The author was complaining about lack of ideal or perfect women. All the women about town were fake. Here I am, shocked and in disbelief. I thought women were perfect back then. right? ![]() they were our mother's mothers and great great grand mothers afterall.
Perfect? Looking for a perfect human being? let me know when you find one. |
prophets of doom, for your information, nigeria's future is in God's hands. |
