PoliticsRe: NNPC Chief Is A Fraud - Fake Credential? by Frendys(m): 2:08pm On Oct 31, 2011
Fake certificates or not, fuel is available readily throughout the nation. grin

A man should be judged by his work and result not by his certificates. This overemphasis on certificates has been one of the reasons for our backwardness. embarassed

I respect your findings but for now that is not what we need in Nigeria.

WE NEED STABLE POWER SUPPLY!

Afterall, where were the Harvard and Cambridge gurus when the economic depression set in?

Oniwon and his team under Diezene Maduaeke, the Minister are giving us unrivelled result thus far. Let them keep it up.
HealthRe: Please Recommend An After Shave by Frendys(m): 1:49pm On Oct 31, 2011
Tsan has given you a good insight.

But let me add that the shown powders are in different categories. Because of your coarse hair and your skin that is already battered due to treatment with all manners of shaving materials I will advise you as follows:

Choose medium or full strength shaving podwer and follow instruction

Shave in the evening when you are not sweating. Very important
Leave the cream on your face for some 5-7 minutes
Dab your face with clean water and scrape off with spatula ( I use only plastic material)
Wash your face gently and thoroughly with water (not warm). Don't exert so much pressure on your face while washing!
Leave the water on your face to dry. Don't use towel to wipe or clean sahven area.
Never touch your shaven face unless you have washed your hands with soap and they are dry

DON'T APPLY ANY AFTERSHAVE LOTION AT ALL, ESP THE ONES THAT CONTAIN ALCOHOL!
NEVER WASH YOUR SHAVED FACE WITH SOAP IMMEDIATEDLY YOU SHAVED NOR ALLOW SOAP FOAM TOUCH IT
NEVER USE SPONGE TO WASH THE PLACE EITHER. DON'T WIPE WITH TOWEL AND NO FACE POWDER!

Bathe with cold water before you retire to bed, washing the face again with plenty of water.
Once more allow your face to dry naturally without touching it. Brush your teeth gently after you shave. There is a secret to that.

I shave twice in a week.

When you follow the above regimen for some 2-3 weeks your face would have been healed

I am talking from my personal experience which you don't buy in the market. My one sure cent to you. grin

Everyone desiring equity must come with clean hands.

This is Nairaland and once you advertise your product here, you owe the Members the responsibilty of answering their every question. Your idea may be novel and noble but on Nairaland it would be subjected to thorough scrutiny. Everyone should be careful these days, because 'our' brothers who are scammers abroad, are relocating to Naija to further their fleecing business.

The idea of routing my inquiries to an anonymous voice on the other end will not be tolerated. I am satisfied for now with my GTB.

For all those that have asked relevant questions regarding this product here, kudos to you. grin

Poster, if you think the kitchen is too hot then take your product to another platform! tongue
BusinessRe: FG Raises Advisory Panel On Fuel Subsidy Removal by Frendys(m): 10:52am On Oct 28, 2011
As usual the panel will comprise of the same old recycled people with old ideas that cannot surmount the current challenges.

Some of them will come from Goldman Sachs, IMF, and WBank while majority will be political jobbers with vested interests, etc. We cannot continue to do the same thing over and over and expect different results. Some of us should be called to address this issue in the national interest.

Afterall, where were the Goldman Sachs, IMF and World Bank experts when the economy of the western world failed and some are still failing! Okonwo Nwaella as a product of these world institutions should always bear in mind the interest of this country and not apply solutions that will only serve the interest of the Western world. She should know that 'she is among her own people'.

But it is ironic that after the government has made up its mind as to what to do with subsidy, the next thing now is set up an advisory panel. Ideally any to be taken decision should be based on sound advise preceeding the decision itself.

Is setting up an advisory panel at this stage not mischievous? Time will tell.
PoliticsRe: Nigerian States Are All Broke by Frendys(m): 10:27am On Oct 28, 2011
Nigeria's economic problem could be alleviated if the govt could give as much attention to recovering looted money by former and current public office holders as it does to oil and gas business.

Aggressive prosecution and confistication of looted funds is enough to bail the nation out of its economic doldrum.

However, this will neccessitate replacing the current EFCC Boss with a more result oriented individual, getting the support of the judiciary to execute speedy procusecution of offenders devoid of unneccessary interluctory injunctions that has become the norm and putting in place a transparent acccountability mechanism

Thereafter the private sector collaborators and economic sabouters can be dealth with. Banking reforms that would enhance easy access to fund for business owners should also be considered.

States should urgently begin to invest in their area of econmic advantage and cut down on their recurrent expenditures. Their continual dependence on monthly allocations from oil proceeds have made them become careless and less resourceful.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Should Censor The Internet To Prevent Revolutions - Eugene Juwah, NCC by Frendys(m): 9:54am On Oct 28, 2011
Even a fool that keeps his mouth shut is considered wise.

His proposal has no basis at all. How can you control something over which you do not have input. As long as we depend on others for their technological breakthroughs we would remain but a consumer. When you deprive people of freedom of speech in a corrupt society like us you are inviting anarchy.

We are truely black not because of the colour of our skin but because we do not mind our business. How is NITEL faring today against the recent entrants into the telecomuncation sector? They are declaring profits in Billions while our own is incurring debts in Billions.

Even the current Speaker of the Senate who was the Communcation Minister at a time said "mobile phone is not for common man" has abadoned the 0-9-0 for good. 0-9-0 was a legacy of NITEL! and was only made available to the rich yet it became moribound. angry

Now you see the irony of placing someone in authority who has no morality or expertise to control others much less its own lame organization. huh

He should just attend the conference and claim his ectacode instead of advocating the unacceptable. Until we become a real player we have no say whatsoever!

Congratulations to the first lady. I admire her and her support for her husband, our dear President.

Some Nairaland Members should shun undue critism of the first lady. While some ladies are busy trying to disgrace their husbands, our first lady has been very supportive of her husband.

Lets show love to the first at a time like this grin

BusinessRe: Govs. Amaechi And Oshiomhole Condem FG's Economic Policy by Frendys(m): 3:13pm On Oct 20, 2011
Rt. Hon Amaechi has demostrated to me in his first three years in office that money is really not our problem in this nation but leadership.

The number of projects he executed in those three years 'speak' louder than all the eight years that Odili was in the saddle of the state. Many people may not agree but as a non indegene who attended Uniport and served here and has been working here for over a decade, I can attest to the fact that we have never had it so good in PH.

Yes, many things are still far from ideal such as the state of roads in the Garden City, virtual blackout, among others but I believe he will sort these things out before his tenue ends. He should guide against distractions and distractors who do sub-standard contracts and sycomphants.

As more fund is made available to govt at all levels there will be more propensity for corruption because of leadership crisis. Let all arms of govt begin to demostrate what they can do with what is available to them like Gov Amaechi is doing in Rivers state. Subsidy removal will only compound the problem of the nation because only a few are actully benefitting from it as Gov Amaechi put it!

Even though am not so happy with the state of things in Port Harcourt now, am optimistic that better days are coming if the Governor stays focussed and priortise!
PoliticsRe: GEJ Reinstates 'Wife Beating' Nigerian Ambassador To Kenya by Frendys(m): 2:41pm On Oct 20, 2011
Am glad the Federal Government has looked into this case objectively and found the Ambassador guiltless of the heinous allegations the woman brought against her diplomat husband. She has forgotten that any against her husband is a blackmail against the nation itself, her family and her so called friends.

She may have realised now that the nation is more important than her bitchy interest. tongue

There are many women these days who are bent on destroying their homes for some pecuniary gain due to keeping wrong company, personal ambition and pride, etc.

I hate to beat any woman nor condone any man doing that; but I cannot stand a wife or any lady for that matter who blackmails people especially her spouse. huh

Our government has taken the right decision this time. grin

BusinessRe: How Is Electricity Stability In Your Area? by Frendys(m): 11:28am On Sep 26, 2011
For over a week now there has been total black out in Rumuogba and adjourning areas in Port Harcourt, yet there is no official explanation for this ugly development.  huh

Investigation carried out by this writer indicated that there was wire cut around Rumuomasi area and the Rumuomasi and Rumuogba PHCN Managers are at a logger head as to whose precint the responsibility for the repair work rests.

For months now and prior to this time, we have an average of 8 Hours electricity supply. angry

The authority concern should sanction these Managers for economic sabotage. Their personal ego are being played out resulting in abuse of office and a disservice to the public good.  People are willing to pay, notwithstanding the recent increase in electricity tarriff, yet people are being starved of electricity.

Most of the time the transformers in this axis have their fuses blown and the residents are made to contribute money to fix them. But the repair work would hardly last for 3 days because they used sub-standard materials. This has been one of their methods of extorting the residents.

The government of Rivers State under Rt Hon R. Amaechi is trying to fix the issue of electricity supply but these so called PHCN officials are sabotaging all efforts.

Let the Port Harcourt District Area Business Manager call these officers to order. Personally I am going to take this matter up with the relevant authority at the PHCN headquarters. Rumuogba, in particular, has been taken for granted for too long.

Government officers should do the right thing for the benefit of all.

PoliticsRe: Obasanjo Replies IBB - You are A Fool At 70 by Frendys(m): 8:59am On Aug 19, 2011
It is very unfortunate that comments from our youths relating to our past and serving leaders are never presented in an objective manner. And from the comments on this platform, some do not see the need to celebrate those who have truely served the people and condemn the others that are self serving.

OBJ, no matter his short coming, will always stand out as a great man in the history of Nigeria as a nation when he is compared with his peers. Before anyone makes a comment on a forum like this, a thorough background facts should have been assembled. We must learn to celebrate our leaders while they are living against the old way of ascribing rhetorical statements to them when they are dead. I will always celebrate OBJ any day and I have even taught my little daughter some of the things OBJ had done for this country. cheesy

Can you imagine what would have become of this nation today had IBB built on the foundation laid by OBJ and his team during his 8 years of mis-ruling this nation? Everything was bad until OBJ returns, yet IBB has the gut to critize OBJ. This is unfortunate indeed.

OBJ gave me a fresh hope that things could work if we have a selfless leader!

Youth should learn to appreciate OBJ objectively and see IBB for who he truely is: a fraud shocked
