President Jonathan has re-strategized his plans to permanently erase Boko Haram.There is no going back on Boko Haram eradication.There should be zero tolerance to insurgency in Nigeria and Jonathan will do it.

It is light that dispels darkness.Enumerating all the achievements of Jonathan's administration will take so many pages.Sincerely speaking,President Goodluck Jonathan has done well.Let us re-elect him to do more.

It is better for all these wicked leaders to stay in one camp so that when nemesis will come,they all will lie down crying “had I known”.Jonathan all the way.

Buhari is a complete failure.He failed to perform as a military head of state and was just a figure-head.He failed as PTF chairman.He also failed in three consecutive presidential elections.What more do you want to hear before you run from his camp.Make hay while the sun shines.Gej is a tested success.

Think of the whole nine years of General Yakubu Gowon, the seven months of General Murtala Muhammed, the four years of Shehu Shagari. The almost two years of Buhari, the eight years of General Ibrahim Babangida, the five years of General Sani Abacha, the one year of Abdulsalami Abubakar and the two years of Umaru Yar’Adua. For almost 40 years of the 54 that we have had flag independence, the North has ruled the nation, but what did their leadership do for Nigeria? Why are the Northern elites now hell-bent on taking back power at the top? How long have they been out of it that they now want it back? What did they do with it for their people when they had it? These Northern Leaders are bereft of ideas,that is why despite all these years they were at the top,no valuable impact was recorded.Therefore,Jonathan should be re-elected to continue his good job which is geared towards amending and repairing what these wicked leaders including Buhari destroyed.He needs more tlme.

Think of Buhari as the head of state and how he ran the nation. The day he was overthrown, I was at the parade ground at the Orientation Camp in Toro, Bauchi where I was serving my NYSC. I remember that the chap who was our Commandant was a young Captain said to be a cousin to Brigadier Joshua Dongoyaro who announced the overthrow. His second-in-command was then Lieutenant Ugo Buzugbe who is today a Major General. Once word reached us of the overthrow, the whole camp went agog with jubilation! On that day, I was delegated by my friends to go to Jos to buy some things for a party we were planning. I got there and the whole city was jubilating! We heard of spontaneous jubilation all over the country. Today, some brilliant, but devious spin-doctors are painting Buhari as a great leader who is now making us feel nostalgia for his time! Only fools who would want to be treated like animals and butchered without reason would look at Buhari and say he is the change we need. Yes, we might need change, but not Buhari! We are not a cursed people! We should never go back to our national vomit

I support a debate to further clarify why Buhari should concentrate on his cattle rearing and leave Nigeria alone.

The PDP, in a statement issued yesterday by its National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, described the APC as lacking in policy direction, boasting that all the achievements of the PDP-led government were verifiable.
The party said its array of candidates for the February elections were far better than those of the APC, adding that same was applicable to the policy direction of both parties.
The party noted that it was the only truly pan-Nigerian party for which the unity, stability and prosperity of the nation remained paramount.
PDP said:   “The founding fathers of the PDP had their eyes set on specific goals, which include ensuring the indivisibility of Nigeria, sustenance of democracy and providing enabling environment for the prosperity and welfare of our people.
“These have guided our governments and have continued to reflect in the quality of leadership by our elected and appointed officers at all tiers in the last 16 years.
“These are also the values that have resulted in the unparalleled milestones recorded in every sphere of our national life especially under the current administration.
“The quality of legislation and policies under its administration has continued to transform the nation into a destination for progress with Nigerians excelling in every sphere of life
“The strict adherence to the rule of law, the guarantee of personal freedom for all Nigerians, passage of the Freedom of Information Act, ensuring greater transparency in governance, the electoral reforms, the policy of wealth transfer, leading to the unprecedented thriving of private enterprises, the agricultural and health reforms resulting in increased life expectancy and reduction in food import.
“Others are the return of the railways and massive investment in road infrastructure and communication as well as growing the economy to become the largest in Africa and the third fastest growing in the world, all point to the superiority of the manifesto of the PDP and its ability to deliver good governance despite daunting challenges.”

We don't need violence in Nigeria.People should be advised to desist from any act of violence that can lead to war.Leadership is not by force.Jonathan should be allowed to accomplish his numerous projects which are geared towards moving Nigeria forward.

A group of lawyers under the aegis of Coalition of Concerned Lawyers of Nigeria has called on the Inspector General of Police to investigate a case of perjury and certificate forgery made against the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).

In a statement by the leader of the group, Dr. Amaechi Nwaiwu, who is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, said having relied on the school certificate presented by Buhari in an affidavit sworn to at an Abuja High Court on the 24th of November last year, the APC presidential candidate was duty bound to personally present the certificate to INEC or face the consequences spelt out by the law for perjury.

While picking holes in the statement of the result published by the Government College, Katsina, last week, the legal practitioners said the content of the document did not support the enlistment of Buhari into the military.

The group said the APC candidate appeared to have concealed the fact that he failed Mathematics in view of the fact that it was a requirement for his commissioning into the Nigerian Army officers cadre.

According to the group, the fact that the documents allegedly presented contained some alterations raises more suspicion which must be probed by the police.

Amaechi said that Nigerians have a duty to demand that those who seek public offices abide by the provisions of the constitution.

He said, “The Federal Republic of Nigeria is a state based on the principles of democracy and social justice where sovereignty belongs to the people from whom government, through the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, derives all its power and authority.”

Buhari is at it again!Lies,Lies,deception.When will he change?He is just making empty promises.What plans does he have to be able to achieve that?Nigerians and indeed Igbos know that Buhari is not capable of creating 1million jobs for all Nigerians let alone for Igbos.The only man who has done it and who can still do even more is President Jonathan.

That could be in his dream but in reality,Jonathan will beat him hands down.

Forget about counting states for Jonathan or Buhari.It is about who has the pedigree to rule Nigeria at this time and who will have the higher number of votes from the states?I think without prejudice,it is Jonathan.

Critically examining the squad of the both teams from defence to the attack and looking at the players in bench,PDP will carry the day.

Everybody has been talking about how beautiful Buhari's pikin is. She is studying in England and there are photos of her on Linda's blog.

But why release these photos now? I saw this in an online article today:






"First off, where did these photos come from, and why they have been released now? It’s no secret that the APC has hired expensive foreign image consultants, whose job it is to make the 73-year-old former military dictator appear more human and increase his appeal. Young people, who weren’t around to experience the General’s draconian regime, which lasted from 1983 to 1985, have been a particular target of the campaign. And there lies the answer to why these photos have mysteriously come out now.








This is a deliberate effort by the Buhari campaign to trick voters into thinking they know the General, while also making him seem more connected to the world of today because he has a stylish and hip daughter. But the truth is that the General is not a man of 2015, but rather a former president still living in the past, who doesn’t understand the complex problems facing Nigeria today.

Furthermore, the release of these images also arguably indicates that General Buhari believes women should be seen, but not heard. Zahra is studying microbiology in England, and is no doubt an intelligent young woman. She probably has lots of interesting opinions and thoughts to share with her fellow Nigerians. But we don’t know what she thinks about things because the campaign has decided she is more useful as an object to be admired and used for crass political gain. General Buhari has already attracted international criticism for pledging to abolish the office of First Lady if he is elected, even though this is an important office in all presidential democracies around the world.

While the release of the photos of Zahra has likely been successful in its aim to attract more young people to the APC campaign, there are signs that it may be backfiring by bringing unwanted attention to Zahra Buhari’s expensive lifestyle. According to media reports, General Buhari may have spent as much as 42-million Naira over the last four years on Zahra’s university tuition and living expenses in Britain. This raises questions about whether the General is being truthful about his personal finances. He has said publicly that his assets consist of only 1-million Naira and 150 cows, but the details of his daughter’s lavish lifestyle in London – one of the most expensive cities in the world – appear to contradict this claim. President Jonathan, who earned his PhD here in Nigeria at the University of Port Harcourt, has made improving access to education and ensuring there is a university in every state a key effort of his presidency. But General Buhari clearly thinks Nigerian universities are not good enough for his children, so he prefers to pay expensive tuition fees in Britain instead.


General Buhari is trying to hide behind his beautiful daughter, but Nigerians won’t be lured backwards by a pretty face. More importantly, we deserve to know how General Buhari would move Nigeria forward, and the fact that he feels a need to distract voters with images of his daughter would indicate he is a man without a plan."

The destiny of Jonathan is not in the hands of Amaechi or Obasanjo.If they don't want to join GEJ to move Nigeria forward,let them keep aloof.One thing I know is that Jonathan has good intentions for Nigeria and should be allowed to carry out these good intentions.Refuse to be misled.
