3 TYPES OF CHRISTIANS
There are three types of Christians and preachers today and only one of these three are doing it right, the two others are either ignorantly missing it or willingly making themselves messengers of Satan. Let’s look at these types of Christians from the Bible:
2 Chronicles 1:11, “ Then God said to Solomon: “Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches or wealth or honor or the life of your enemies, nor have you asked long life—but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge My people over whom I have made you king”

1, PROSPERITY CHRISTIANS & PREACHERS - … asked riches or wealth or honor. 2 Chronicles 1:11
This type of Christians and their ignorant preachers focus more in their prayers and preaching on earthly riches, wealth and temporal honor. These ignorant preachers spend more of their preaching and prayer time on how to be rich, prospered, succeed and make it in life; they take earthly prosperity first and make the kingdom of God last, if at all they have the time. These are the preacher who spend more time on preaching earthly riches, breakthrough, favour, success, abundant blessings, earthly glory of blessing, and they feed their Goat-Christian members with these junks , they also go ahead to make foolishness of their Christian lives.

I was listening to a message of one these prosperity preachers – "Bishop" Oyedepo, inside a hired car, and I was disturbed by how this man was misinterpreting and misquoting the scriptures, watering them down and misleading the simple. When he mentioned SANCTIFICATION, I was like, “wow, this man also preach sanctification” but by time he would interpret it, everything centered on earthly breakthrough and blessings.

The prosperity Christians and their Satan’s anointed preachers center the majority of their times, prayers, fasting and preaching on earthly blessings and breakthrough, these are the goat-christians and wolf preachers. The more they pray and preach on earthly blessings, the more their minds are far from heaven and the less they prepare for rapture and the second coming of Jesus Christ.

2, PROBLEMATIC CHRISTIANS - …… the life of your enemies, nor have you asked long life. 2 Chronicles 1:11
This is another satanic manipulated type of Christians and preachers, they are the type who focus more on prayer of “Fall down and die” of their enemies, they focus more on deliverance from satanic oppression than sinful nature, they pray and preach like never before on problems of life than progress to heaven. This type of preachers believe they have deliverance ministry, and what is the deliverance all about? Is it deliverance from sin and great tribulation and great judgment of God? NO, their type of deliverance is all about from problems of life, enemies of progress, and so on.

So these preachers and their followers can fast and pray for 100 days, they can hold vigil continuously for a month, and what do they pray and fast about? They pray that the hereditary curse in their family to die than they pray that the adamic, sinful nature in their lives should die; they pray that the enemies in their father’s and mother’s house should die than they pray for the sinners in their family to die. Problematic ministry is another end-time distraction of Satan, which he packaged for many ignorant Christians and preachers as so called “deliverance ministry”.

The more these people focus their prayers and preaching on problems of life, the more they dis-focus from the real enemy of their souls and so they miss it; the more they pray against forces of enemies, the more they are afraid of them, and the less they overcome them, and so they never stop praying and fasting against forces of darkness oppressing their lives, because they are never free.

3, PRIORITY RIGHT CHRISTIANS - …. but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge My people over whom I have made you king” 1 Chronicles 1:11

These are the type of Christians who set their priority right, they seek the kingdom of God first, in their daily prayer, in their joint prayer, and in their preaching, they seek the kingdom of God, they seek to prepare for the kingdom, they pray for the salvation and edification of souls than they pray against their enemies, they pray and fast on their spiritual lives and for their spiritual journey to heaven than they pray for earthly blessings or against enemies. These are the type of Christians approved by God, they are the wise virgins in these end time.

You know what? Little consciousness of heaven, little preaching and prayer for heaven, or fire brigade altar call for salvation will not take you or your followers to heaven, if you really want to make heaven and help others to make heaven, your 100 percent focus, passion, prayer and preaching must be for heaven, and God of heaven will faithfully add the additional to your life and ministry.

Genuine prosperity prosperity does not come by praying or preaching more about prosperity, you can check those pastors and their members, who focus more on prosperity, they tell lies, cheat, bribe to get contracts, they change their age and personal information to get job, they bribe and commit sexual immorality to get job, promotion, and some even join occult group to get wealth in their businesses, careers or profession. And these people still claim God’s prosperity and share testimonies.

Genuine deliverance and victory over evil forces does not come by continuous or daily prayer against enemies or by prayer of “fall down and die” or by focusing on such prayer, you can check those who are in such ministry or system, they are never delivered, they are never free from enemies; they can pray and fast for 100 days, but they are never free, they never stop praying to be free, they never believed they are free, and they never re-direct their prayer and preaching on heavenly things.

Don’t be among the ignorant in this end time, don’t be among the foolish virgins; be wise and be warned.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

BIBLE STUDY: GIDEON’S EPHOD
(Good intention plus wrong implementation leads to bad implication and makes bad person.)

“Then Gideon said to them, “I would like to make a request of you, that each of you would give me the earrings from his plunder.” For they had golden earrings, because they were Ishmaelites… Then Gideon made it into an ephod and set it up in his city, Ophrah. And all Israel played the harlot with it there. It became a snare to Gideon and to his house.” Judges 8:24-27

Gideon made a gold Ephod after victory over Midian, but it later became snare to him and the children of Israel. The intention of Gideon for making the golden ephod might be for a symbol of victory for the children of Israel that would remain and remind generations of Israel of the uncommon victory the Lord gave them over the Midianites.

So basically, the intention of Gideon was to set a symbol of victory, he was not the first leader of Israel to set such symbol, before him was Joshua who raised a great heap of stones as symbol of victory over the Ai and its king in Joshua 8:29. It was also the same thing prophet Samuel did between Mizpah and Shen which Samuel called Ebenezer after victory over the Philistine. 1 Samuel 7:11, 12, “And the men of Israel went out of Mizpah and pursued the Philistines, and drove them back as far as below Beth Car. 12 Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen, and called its name Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the LORD has helped us.”

Such was the sincere intention of Gideon. But here came the problem – the wrong implementation of a sincere intention. Instead of Gideon to use stone for the setting symbol of God’s victory for His people as Joshua did at the river of Jordan, and as Samuel did for Ebenezer, Gideon did it In a wrong way by using gold, and this became a snare to him and his family.

The implication was that the children of Israel began to worship the ephod, they turned it to an idol and that distracted them from the living God; this became a snare to Gideon and his household, it has a terrible implication on them, “And all Israel played the harlot with it there. It became a snare to Gideon and to his house.” Judges 8:27

LESSONS TO LEARN
1, It is not enough to have good intention, but we must also implement our good intention in a godly way. It is not enough to say, “God sees my heart, my good intention” but men must also see your good and godly implementation, how you carry out your good intention. The Bible admonishes us to have a good conscience before God and men. Acts 24:16, “ This being so, I myself always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men.” When we carry out an intention in a wrong way, which will then have a bad implication on us or others, God will judge us as evildoers even if our initial intentions were good.

For example, you have a good intention for wearing clothes, but the clothes expose your body or extravagantly expensive, even though you have a good intention, you will be counted with ungodly because you don’t care of the implication of your action.

We must be mindful and watchful of our implementation as well as our intention; our mind must be good and our move must be godly. Good intention with ungodly implementation is equal to an ungodly person.

2, Let’s learn from the past people/history for our better present. Gideon wasn’t the first person to set a sign of victory and he was not the last. He could have learned from the past people by using stone, not gold. Stones were used as symbols of victory of God, but gold is for the services of God. We serve God with our gold and not through our gold, meaning you can serve God without gold, it is not a must to have gold before you can serve God. Apostle Peter said, “Silver and gold I don’t have” Acts 3:6, and he served God. The preachers and churches that emphasize on gold more than godliness are end time false preachers, those who preach about prosperity, breakthrough, favor and signs and wonders more that purity are Judas Iscariot of this generation. The teaching of modern preachers that financial prosperity will help you server God better is disguised idolizing money which is the doctrine of mammon. You will never see such a thing in the Bible that riches will help you to serve God better. At the end, the people of Gideon began to serve God through the golden image and it was unacceptable service of idolatry.

To learn from the history does not mean you should follow every method used in the past, but it is to learn a message from the past.

3. Using expensive materials to impress people in the name of serving God will only distract you and the people from serving God acceptably. When we use expensive materials to appreciate God and impress people, it will have a serious implication on the people eventually; they will soon defocus their attention from God and focus on those materials. That could be applicable to Gideon, when he used gold instead of stone to erect a symbol of victory, and later children of Israel were running after the golden image instead of God. This is more applicable to the churches of today, we want to impress people with miracle programs, prayers and preaching; along the way, and people have forgotten purity and preparation for heaven and now running after miracles.

Why are the churches of today spending multi-million dollars on church building projects? Why does every denomination today, including those who claim to believe and preach holiness, centers on multiple multi-million church auditorium building? It is because every denomination wants to impress the world outside that they can build the best and beautiful headquarters; while they continue incessant multi-million building projects from headquarters, to state, even going inside the bush to build cities, they are deviated from the Bible ordinance to build people. How can a church build a multi-million church auditorium without building a free Primary or Secondary school, without distribution of daily need to the needy members, without daily care for the widows and fatherless? It is simply because they care to impress the world than implementing the Word of God; you can’t do both together at the same time.

A church cannot impress people and please God at the same time. The early church did not have a single multi-million auditorium or headquarters, but they had stores from where they distributed to the needs of their thousands of members. Acts 4:34-37. You cannot impress people and please God at the same time. You know why your big church does not have free Primary schools? You know why your church does not have stores where to distribute for the needs of their members? Do you know it will be always impossible for your church to follow the example of the early church by distributing the tithes and offerings to meet the needs of the members? It is because your church wants to impress the world with big and beautiful physical edifice. Another thing is that, it is not possible for your church to have a rich, extravagant pastor and caring church at the same time. How will your church’s university be free or affordable when your Senior Pastor flies with private jet? Seeking to impress people will only leads to deviation from the Bible truth.

Your church aside, what about you? Is it not because you want to impress the world with a good and beautiful car that you can’t assist your own family members and brethren in your church? Is it not because you want to finish your personal building project by fire by force this year that your eyes of kindness and goodness are closed and blind towards people around you, even your own brethren in your church and family members? Is it not because you want to take your child to “expensive” school that you can’t afford to help another family’s children to school? Like Gideon, impressing people with expensive stuffs will only ensnare you from obeying the Bible truth, simple. As it is applicable to a church, a minister, so to individual Christians.

The error of Gideon in the Bible is just like the error and problem of many Pastors and churches today, who think the best way to serve God is by using expensive materials, by building multi-millions church auditorium, that the best way the world will see God’s glory upon them is not by building free schools, free Library, or free training centers, but by having full A/C church; they think the best way the world will see the nature of Christ in the lives of their members is not having a caring heart but by parking latest and expensive cars in front of their church buildings; the same thing is applicable to individual Christians who think the best way people can see the glory of God in their lives is by using expensive cars, by building mansion, and so on. The truth is that does God’s glory shows forth through showing off or sharing? Is God gloried by building multi-million churches or by building multiple free schools? Do people see the likeness and goodness of Christ through you when you use expensive cars or when you help many in needs? Do you feel joyful in your spirit when you get the best and expensive things for yourself without much caring for brethren, family and people around you? Are you comfortable in your spirit when your children go to expensive school without sponsoring a single child to school?

The old time Christianity of the Bible is not about impressing people, it is not about showing off, but it is simply appreciating God and showing the nature and kindness of Christ through our gestures. For us to receive a “well done good servant” at the end of our journey on earth, we should focus on serving God, and showing the kindness of God through our lives. Stop impressing people by material, but share, bear the fruit of the Spirit and live a sanctified life.

THE MOST UGLY MUSIC EVER!!! (A must read PLEASE)
This is the most UGLY and frightening song you will ever hear! In a vision, I saw a naked man covered in flaming worms that cannot Die! He turned to me and heaved a deep sigh as flames surrounded him and he sung this song in an emotionless voice! A voice that held NO emotion only the pain and torment he was in! Here are a few lyrics from the song:

Flaming worms crawl in, flaming worms crawl out in the belly button and out the mouth! In the front and out the rear! In the eyes and out the ears! We scream for mercy yet NO one cares or hears! Red hot pain in my blood rivers of feces, lava, vomit and blood it looks like a flood! Flames everywhere yet they cast NO light! All I have is every kind of pain, terror, torture and fright! I am a Citizen in HELL!

This is the first level of HELL the other levels there are NO words to tell! Hell is so hot it boils the flesh off my skin how do I describe the HELLISH pain I'm in! I'm so thirsty yet I 've not even urine or tears to drink! And OH my GOD how this HELL stinks! AHHHH, I am a Citizen in HELL!

There's NO water of any kind not even sweat to cool my brow, I know from Hell I will never be set free and demons curse and mock me! I scream to God to help me! Yet He does NOT hear! Instead the voice of Satan laughs and jeers! "HaAa! There's NO GOD and there's NO mercy here! I have torture, terror, and Damnation and every kind of FEAR! But there's NO GOD HERE! Hahaha!"

I am reminded how God in his mercy gave JESUS, His Only Son to suffer crucifixion for my sins and on a cross he hung! Just so from HELL I would be free and Satan would have no claim on me! But I refused JESUS blood to cover my sins. I wanted to live my own life so I denied Him! I know I have no one to blame now forever I 'll live in Satan's evil domain with every kind of torture and shame! Wanting to die but forgetting there is no death, thinking it will be better tomorrow but forgetting I have FOREVER left! This is what its like to be a CITIZEN IN HELL!!!

Where the Horror is so gruesome! NO tongue can tell! Everyone who is coming here will have to dig to their own level before they die! And that is how deep your sins are piled up high! But beware the greatest of all sins is the REJECTION OF JESUS CHRIST! One torture room to the next what seems like your worst nightmare is ONLY satan at his BEST! This is what its like to be a CITIZEN IN HELL!!!!!

Flaming WORMS that looked like Snakes! were crawling in and OUT of EVERY OPENING OF HIS BODY! His EYES, EARS,NOSE, FRONT, REAR, I repeat EVERY OPENING! without getting graphically gross here! The screams yet echo in my mind as I am writing this down! The rich man in the bible who went to HELL told God if he would just send a man back from HELL to warn others his brothers of the torment in Hell they would not want to come there, they would live differently! But God said even if he sent someone back from HELL, few would listen and take the warning seriously! Few would believe! In this end time how many has the LORD allowed to see Heaven and Hell to be brought back to life to tell of the Horror!

So many people die everything, and majority are trooping in to hell. Your friends and family members who died without Christ, or who lived sinful and worldly Christian life, are singing the same ugly songs in hell now; you will never see them again if only you also do not go to hell. If you are reading this article before the Rapture, it means you have the chance and choice to make in order to avoid hell, but it all depends on you.

Jesus only is the way to save from going to hell; if you have not surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, you urgently need to do that now. If you claim to be a Christian but still living in sin, you need to rededicate your life to Jesus before it is too late. And if you have dedicated your life to Jesus, but living a worldly life of modern Christianity, hiding your sins, rising and falling into sin or ignoring to do necessary restitution, then you are also at the danger of hell. Until you surrender all to Jesus Christ, ALL!

REUBEN SOLUTION FORMULA
– Worsen The Situation.

And Jacob their father said to them, “You have bereaved me: Joseph is no more, Simeon is no more, and you want to take Benjamin. All these things are against me.” Then Reuben spoke to his father, saying, “Kill my two sons if I do not bring him back to you; put him in my hands, and I will bring him back to you.” Genesis 42: 36, 37

Jacob lost his son Joseph years back, another son Simeon was retained in prison in Egypt, and they were demanding his last born son Benjamin again. And so this situation was too much for Jacob and he refused to release his last born, he didn’t want to lose 3 children all together, but to convince Jacob, Reuben the first born had to come up with a solution – Reuben’s Solution, a formula to solve Jacob’s tough situation. And here is the Reuben Solution presented to Jacob: If your son Simeon does not come back, and if I can’t bring back your last born Benjamin, then kill your 2 grandsons! But how stupid is this Reuben solution? How would killing one’s grandsons solve the problem of losing one’s son? Will that not increase the loss and multiply the sorrow?
That is it! But in many ways we are applying Reuben’s solution formula into our situation, and that is the reason for the increase in loss and multiple of sorrow, that is the reason many are where they are today – worsen situation, because they apply a terrible solution formula of Reuben to their situations.

Here are some ways in which we consciously or unconsciously apply Reuben Solution Formula:
– Somebody offends you, causing a problem for you, and you want to revenge and cause problem for that person, how will that solve your own problem?

– You lose your job, your business and the devil is suggesting that you should abandon your Christian commitment and devotion to God, how will that solve the problem? That is Reuben formula formulated by Satan.

– You are desperately looking for job, now you have offer to falsify your personal information to get the job, how will that help you fulfil God’s purpose for your life? That is Reuben formula formulated by Satan.

– You lost your wealth, and Satan is suggesting that you take action that will make you lose your integrity, how will that make you a better person?

– Your husband/wife cheats on you, and now you want to do the same thing, how will that solve the problem of cheating?

– You are having problems in your marriage, and now you are thinking of divorce, has divorce ever solve problem in marriage or it dissolves marriage and scatters family?

– You are single and getting older, and now you just want to marry anyone available, you want to marry a shallow Christian because you are in hurry, do you ever think of unity in marriage? And how will you unite in marriage with such a person? Will your singleness and sorrow not multiply in that marriage?

– You have misunderstanding with your spouse and you refuse to communicate, then how will the misunderstanding be settled without communication? Don’t you know that lack of proper communicate increases misunderstanding in marriage?

– You are having some difficulties and challenges in life and satan is giving you Reuben’s formula to abandon your Christian integrity, devotion or service, now how will there be a good solution without the Source of Life – JESUS CHRIST?

Reuben Solution Formula ( RSF) is like one cutting off his head to solve problem of headache, losing your life to the devil because you want to solve the problem of your life, losing your marriage because you want to end problem of your marriage, losing your identity in Christ because you want to be popular in ministry, losing your purity because you want to get a marital partner; it is like giving what you need most and getting what you need the moment, it is like giving up your God’s giving vision to get a good television; it is like getting money from Satan and giving him your life and what you use the money to buy, like giving Satan a chance in your life so he give you chance in hell fire.

Don’t be among the fools and do not apply a bad formula into your life that will lead you to a wrong end. The way out of every situation is Jesus Christ, the Way, Life and Truth.

If you have not given your life to Jesus, won’t you come to Jesus now and have rest of mind?

If you have given your life to Jesus and you’re at a crossroad, won’t you rest in Jesus for a good solution and not run your way of destruction? Won’t you trust and wait on Him till your change comes? Won’t you be faithful to the end for your crown of life waiting for you?

When we faithfully rest on the Lord, He uses our present situation to present us an overwhelming success. That was the end of Jacob’s story; he refused Reuben’s solution formula and rested on God by faith. “But when they told him all the words which Joseph had said to them, and when he saw the carts which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived. 28 Then Israel said, “It is enough. Joseph my son is still alive. I will go and see him before I die.” Genesis 45:27, 28.

You will not want to allow this present situation push you to use your own hands kill the living vision and purpose of God for your life, to ruin your testimony and future, will you?

HOW TO BE A GOOD LEADER
1 Kings 12:7, “And they spoke to him, saying, “If you will be a servant to these people today, and serve them, and answer them, and speak good words to them, then they will be your servants forever.”

To be ordained by God as spiritual leader, secular leader or societal leader is not everything it takes to be a good leader; to attain the post of leadership at any level or at anywhere is the beginning, and not everything about leadership. To be a good leader is to distinct oneself from leaders, and that is the demand of God from every leader everywhere. For you to be a good leader, who will effectively work with people, and whom people will effectively work with, you must consider the followings:

BE A SERVANT LEADER
“If you will be a servant to these people today” 1 Kings 12:7
Do not exalt yourself above the people you want to lead, but humble yourself, present yourself as a servant, promise to serve and practically serve. Humility is one of the early steps to leadership. A good leader must present himself as a servant with all sincerity. A good leader must freely relate and flow with the people he desires to lead.

BE A SERVING LEADER
“…and serve them” 1 Kings 12:7
Some people will present themselves as servants, they will promise to serve their followers, but they will never serve them but rather serve themselves. Well, every leader serves, some serve the people and some serve themselves. So when someone says, “I will serve”, it has to be clarified if he means to serve himself or to serve the people. There is difference between a self-service leader and a self-sacrificing leader. To serve is practical, not just in presentation or promise. The impression of presentation and promise to serve will not last more than a day or few – “If you will be a servant to these people today” You can present or promise to serve today, if you do not serve, people will not listen to you or follow you tomorrow.

To serve means to sacrifice yourself for the good of the people who follow you, to show a good example of sacrifice. Nehemiah was a great and good leader; in fact he is a model of a good leadership. He was there to serve, and not to serve himself. He was a governor who never bought or got a land. Here is what he said:

“Moreover, from the time that I was appointed to be their governor in the land of Judah, from the twentieth year until the thirty-second year of King Artaxerxes, twelve years, neither I nor my brothers ate the governor’s provisions. 15 But the former governors who were before me laid burdens on the people, and took from them bread and wine, besides forty shekels of silver. Yes, even their servants bore rule over the people, but I did not do so, because of the fear of God. 16 Indeed, I also continued the work on this wall, and we did not buy any land…” Nehemiah 5:14-16.

Good leaders are not there to enrich themselves, but only to serve.

To serve also means to be a good and godly example in all things. It is not enough to lead by speaking, talking, preaching, teaching or commanding, but to also serve as a good example. Anybody can say the saying, talk the talk or preach the preaching, but only a real leader who does the sayings.

BE AN ANSWERING LEADER
“And answer them” 1 Kings 12:7
A good leader must answer his followers or people. To be an answering leader, you must:

(1) Be A Caring Leader – before you can answer, you must first have a sincere care for the people.

(2) Be A Listen Leader– before you can answer, you must first care to listen to what you want to answer or people you want to answer. Ability to listen is a very important virtue for godly and good leadership. James 1:19, “So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.” Many leaders only care to talk and rebuke but they are not ready to listen, and so they will not be able to answer or answer well. Before you can answer, first listen; before you judge, first listen; before you conclude, first listen; before you decide first listen. As a parent, pastor, partner or people’s leader generally, listening will help you to be a good leader, listening will help you to last long.

(3) Be An Available Leader – before you can answer, you must be available for the people to call you, and then you must be available to answer the callings for service. A leader who is too busy or so important and exalted to answer the call of a common member is not a good leader. A leader who only responds to the calls of the rich and special people is not a godly leader is not a self-sacrificing leader but a selfish leader. If you are too busy to answer the call of a common man among your members or followers, then you should be sincere to get more sincere assistants to work with you in order to assist you to answer calls for service from the least, or you should sincerely resign.

(4) Be A Sincere & Transparent Leader – before you can sincerely answer questions from your subordinates or members, you must be sincere. A good and serving leader must be there to explain and answer to questions on how he manages resources and people under him. If you are not sincere, you will not be able to answer questions concerning your administration, concerning the management of resources in your care, and if you are not transparent, you will not be able to explain the management of your leadership.

Christianity has original system of transparency and accountability, because our God is a God of transparency and accountability, and our Lord Jesus Christ has transparent and accountable system. God is so transparent that He had to explain to you how He created the heaven and earth, everything was explained, including how He called the God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and said, “Let us make man in Our Image” what was not our business, but He had to explain to us.

The system of the church today where only the leaders know how the tithes and offerings are being spent, where the Senior pastor, G.O and his wife are the lords of everything in the church, such system is satanic, not godly. When you hear the saying that, “Is it not the business of the tithers and members to know how their tithes are being spent,” such notion is not biblical, but an extra biblical phenomenon. If your pastors cannot be transparent and accountable on how the tithes are being spent, how you do you expect the politicians to be transparent on how they spend your tax?

(5) Be An Accountable Leader – before you can really answer your followers, you must be ready to account for your leadership, as an accountable leader. Many leaders today – parents, pastors, politicians and people’s leader - in their different capacities – do not have sense of accountability, and this has become our culture and tradition in our families, churches and societies; they feel no responsibility to account to people they are leading, they feel no responsibility to account to their subordinates. We think we can only account to people above us, not people below us – such is an awkward leadership. A good leader is accountable to all the people he leads, he feels no offense when he is questioned, but sees it as an opportunity to express himself; he is ready to give account of his stewardship without falsehood or fear.

BE AN ENCOURAGING LEADER
“…and speak good words to them” 1 Kings 12:7
To speak good words to people does not mean to sweet talk or to flatter people, it does not mean to say what people want to hear; good words are words of truth, good words are wholesome words, not half-some words or empty handsome words. A good leader will say what people need to hear, not just what they want to hear; since he is a leader, he may see ahead and knows what will really benefit the people even if the people can’t see it. Good words are not always sweet words for the majority to hear most time, but they are sound for several seasons and situation. A good leader will be ready to speak good words in an encouraging manner, in a better way without being bitter. A good leader will speak good words not bitter words, not bad words, not backbiting words, and not blocking words.

As a parent, pastor, and politician or in any leadership capacity you find yourself, you must be ready to speak only good words. When you want to rebuke, do it with good words so that the person you rebuke can be turned to good by your good words. Abusive words are not good words, cursing words are not good words, and deceptive words are not good for you or the hearer.

Be an encouraging leader by your ways and words, encourage people to serve God and to serve with you. Let everything about you serve as an encouragement to people around you to serve God and sacrifice for good cause. Be a positive leader with a pure orientation for the profit of the people.

Philippians 4:8:
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

MY EXPERIENCE IN CHURCHES TODAY
I am on a business trip to an African country since last week. Immediately I came here, I asked my host to take me to any Nigerian canteen, and it has been wonderful, thanks to Mr Emeka, the owner of the canteen. It’s not easy to part away with your local taste you grow up with. Last night I decided to eat foreign food at a restaurant, I couldn’t enjoy the food, because it was strange to my taste, it wasn’t like delicious Fufu, Semo, fried rice and others lol. So for the rest of my days here, I will not joke with Mr Emeka’s canteen, though far from my hotel.

The same thing I decided to apply with fellowshipping with a church this morning, I went straight to a Deeper Life Bible church where I am familiar with the taste. On getting there, it was a powerful message from the General Overseer in one of his crusade messages in Bauchi state in Nigeria, what a blessed and wonderful message! It has been a long time.

After the whole things, the pastor in the church called for new comer, I stood up and I was prayed for, thereafter I was given a slip to fill. At the end of the service, I was expecting a worker to come to talk to me as promised by the pastor, I waited and waited, nobody came to me. Everybody was busy talking with one another, then I stood up to meet the usher who gave me the slip, at least to collect the slip back, he was busy talking that I had to stood beside him to finish his conversation with a brother, but I had to excuse him to attend to me, and when I gave the slip back to him, looking at him I recognized his face, he was my co-coordinator in the media department at Deeper Life Campus fellowship in Ilorin, Nigeria, 15 years ago. He couldn’t recognize me but when I told him my name “Bro. Gideon” he remembered, and was happy to see me. We shared together and exchanged phone numbers.

I actually wanted to see the pastor, who is also a Nigerian, and share with him my mission of coming to the country, but he was busy that he didn’t have the time to meet the new comer. I was surprised at their attitude, like, is this the best way a church of less than 50 adults in a country of about 90% Muslims of population can welcome a new comer? They didn’t care to know if I am an unbeliever, if I’m living close by or a foreigner. In my mind, I laughed and felt, “These our brethren, everywhere you go, same attitude.”

Since the service at the church finished early, I went to the church of my host whose church started not too early in the morning. Getting there, the church was so filled to outside that I had to sit outside, but the usher recognized that I was a new comer, she provided seat for me inside the church and asked me to come inside, though I was comfortable with other people sitting outside, but for me not to commit sin of disobedience to the Usher, I followed her inside the church. It was a wonderful time with a different style of service from the first church I attended – praise and worship and dancing. And when it was the time of message, the assistant GO of the church preached, it was a powerful message of repentance and I was highly blessed. Though the church was full in and out, I was welcomed by the brethren there, greetings from different people. Before then I had already met their GO, they were all concerned about my purpose of coming to the country and ready to assist in anyway. The GO of the church is also a Nigerian.

So today, I went to 2 churches, with same Bible messages, but with different welcoming and hospitality attitudes and far different numbers of members; the former showed little care for the new comer, but the later showed more care, but both preached powerful messages.

The Lesson I Learn
Messages of Holiness doesn’t scare people away from a church, it is the attitude of the people in the church that does. You see, many churches who preach holiness and righteousness today with standstill or declining numbers of their membership usually give excuse that because they preach holiness and stand against worldliness is the reason why they are not increasing in numbers. Such conclusion is wrong and un-bibical. The early church preached and practiced holiness and yet they were added every day as many who were being saved. So if your church is not increasing in numbers of saved souls, it is either you with your church are weak in your responsibility of evangelism or you people lack genuine love and care, or both. It is not messages of truth and holiness that prevent the increase in number of a church, it’s lack of practical love, care and evangelism.

Purity without practical love is hypocrisy, and love without purity is lust. True purity means pure love in action or practical love of God. When a church is not increasing in number as a result of lack of effective evangelism or lack of genuine love, many of those who remain in such church will begin to decay.

I pray the Lord will revive every church where practical love and effective evangelism are lost and I pray the Lord will renew every church where worldliness and lust has occupied. I pray for revival of holiness, love, evangelism and brotherly care in every church in every part of the world and every heart of believer in Jesus name!

Lord, let there be this revival. Amen

HEAVENLY VISION
…. I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision. Acts 26:19

Heavenly vision is very important for every Christian, minister and church as a whole. A Christian without heavenly vision will belong among the common Christians, a Christian minister without heavenly vision will remain a carnal minister, and a church without heavenly vision is a worldly and lukewarm church. And the worst is when a Christian or church loses heavenly vision, it become worse than never having it.

WHAT HEAVENLY VISION IS ALL ABOUT!
When we have heavenly vision, we will want to do everything to enter heaven and to bring others to heaven; when we have heavenly vision, the things of this worldly will be dim to us and things of heaven dearly to us; we will not be encumbered by the cares of this world. When we have heavenly vision like the earthly Christians, we will go extra miles for the kingdom of God and we will not have the mind of pursuing earthly things.

The beginning of revival in a Christian life and in a church is to have heavenly vision, because without that Christians will remain lukewarm, worldly and spiritually frivolous.

What is this heavenly vision is all about? Heavenly vision is when you come to the point of understanding and realizing that making heaven and helping others to make heaven is the paramount purpose of your living on earth, that every other thing apart from working towards making heaven and winning souls to heaven amounts to little or nothing, that it is the most urgent matter that needs the greatest attention on a daily basis. When you crap this heaven vision, your perspective of life will change, your reasoning will not remain the same, your Christian life will turn around, your life view will be of eternity not on this temporal care, your prayer points will be different from what it used to be, it will center on your Christian growth and winning souls, your ministry will turn different and your message will be heavenly focused.

DO YOU KNOW WHY CHRSITIANS………
Do you know why many Christians are worldly and lukewarm? It is simply because they don’t have heavenly vision. There is nothing as terrible and dangerous in life as being a Christian without heavenly vision.

Do you know why you compromise the word of God, and care for things of this life than heaven? It is because you lack or you’ve lost heavenly vision. Do you know why you pray more on prosperity than purity of life? It is simply because you lack heavenly vision in your Christian life. Do you know why you involve in worldly dress and stuffs and it seems impossible for you to part away with such things? It is simply because you don’t have heavenly vision yet.

Do you know why your priority of life is about getting money, having more possessions of life, getting position or popularity in life? It is because you don’t have heavenly vision. Do you know why you pray more against enemies in your life than you pray against sinful nature in your life? It is because you don’t have heavenly vision. Do you know why you pray against the witches and wizards in your family to die than you pray for sinners in your family to be saved? It is because you don’t have heavenly vision. You don’t need to speak in tongue before you know Christians void of heavenly vision, it is very obvious.

DO YOU KNOW WHY MANY CHRISTIAN MINISTERS……
Do you know why many Christian ministers preach more on prosperity of life than purity of life, why they preach more on goodness of life than godliness of life, why they preach more about temporal blessings of this life than eternal blessings of life to come or you wander why on the other hand some preach more on overcoming problems of life than overcoming temptations and persecutions of life or why they put witches and wizards In their lives to death than they put sinful old natures in their lives to death? It is simply because such Christian ministers do not have heavenly vision.

Do you know the reason why most of the preachers today do more of prophetic declarations than repentance declaration? It is simply because they lack or lost heavenly vision. You know what Paul said? He said, “Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, 20 but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance.” Acts 26:19, 20. After Paul got the heavenly vision, he was going different places and making declaration, not prosperity declaration, not prophetic declaration as they do today, but declaration of repentance, of turning to God and of doing work of righteousness and holiness. It’s the heavenly vision that makes the difference. But these pastors, evangelists, daddy GO, papa, bishops in America , Europe, Asia or Africa who are busy preaching, publishing and making declarations of prosperity, success and sweet things, and asking you to type “amen” on their Facebook posts, it is because their lives and ministries are void of heavenly vision.

We cannot deceive ourselves. Our priority of life is determined by the vision we carry in our hearts; if it is heavenly vision, automatically we will live, pray and preach more on heaven, and if it is earthly vision, we will live, pray and preach more on earthly things, that exactly is what we are seeing among Christians and pastors today. Where your treasure is determines the priority and purpose of your living.

GETTING IT RIGHT!
Before you can get to heaven, you must get it right on earth. And to get it right, you need to start with the right steps, and repentance from sins and worldliness is the right step to start with. To have heavenly vision, you must start with repentance. I pray for you as you read this message that God will open your eyes to see and seek the heavenly vision and make it to heaven. Al you need now is to repent, turn to God and begin to do the works befitting repentance. DON'T BE SUCH STUPID!

If you sell your soul to the devil or sin, what will you use the money to buy that will worth you spending eternity in the lake of fire? Think about it.

Giving your soul to the devil or any sin in this world after you are saved is like you living in your house which you build or buy with your labor, and one day you are cooking and forget to buy salt, then you quickly run to your neighbor and say, "Hey neighbor, I'm cooking a small noodle and I forgot to buy salt at home, can you give me few tips of salt?" And your neighbor says she will give you the tips of salt on one condition, that you will give her your house in exchange of the tips of salt. If you hear such thing, how will you feel? Will you consent to such condition? That is exactly what the devil is offering everyone, "Give me your soul of eternity of millions of years and I will give you temporal pleasure or gain of sin for few years. Will you be stupid to take such offer?

Please don't! Please don't be such stupid to give what you need most for what you need the moment. Don't be such stupid to groan in eternal hell because of temporal gain of this world. Repent and rededicate your life to Jesus before it is too late!

7 Tips on How to Overcome Temptations & Addicted Sins.

As a Christian, after you genuinely give your life to Jesus and become a new person in Him, your soul is saved and washed by the blood of Jesus Christ , your conscience is cleansed by His blood and your spirit is restored in connection with God. But your body is not affected by the spiritual transformation.

When you are saved, you will not see any change of color or stature in your body as a result of the salvation of your soul. It’s the same unaffected body that will want to drag back you into sin, into old life, because your body has nothing to loose, your body has no heaven to go, your body is a mortal and dust. Your body is temporal, it’s earthly and will disappear by reason of time. It is that same body that the devil uses to drag people back to sin after they are saved. The body, your flesh, influenced by Satan, will demand contrary to the Spirit of God inside you, will want you to please it and displease God.

This flesh, your body, brings temptation and want to retain the ungodly pleasure it is used to, and that is addicted sin and temptation in your new life in Christ Jesus. Addicted sins are the sinful lifestyles, things or attitude we were used to before we became born again. And they want to come over again in our new lives in Jesus. And temptation, it is ungodly suggestions of Satan into your mind, simple! The purpose of temptation is to make us sin against God and against our own souls for destruction.

The object of temptation is from outside, but the desire and suggestion is from within. So then, temptation is a seduction to sin, either old addicted sin or new general, common sins. Temptation comes on a daily bases and on different bases; your personal relationship with God depends on how you overcome temptations.

We need to know that temptation itself is not a sin, either from within by our thought or from without through people or things, it is falling into temptation that becomes sin; it is also a sin to get or go close to the appearance of sin. It is sin to go or get close to what you know may lead to sin by using vain boldness which is tempting God and the Bible commands us not to tempt God. Temptation comes from within or without, from your mind, your body, your feeling; from people, from Satan; pressure, persuasion or persecution, but the good news is that the power lies on you to decide, to sign or silent the temptation; that is your power of decision. Here are 7 tips that will always help us to overcome every form of temptation or addiction on our ways:

(1) Hold Your Peace The undiscovered truth about sin is that behind every sin in life is a demon, satanic spirit that inspires people to that sin. Every persuasion and pressure to sin comes from these assigned demons; they use people, our feeling, minds and flesh to persuade us. The real image was made clear when Satan was tempting Jesus in the wilderness, Jesus was seeing Satan clearly because Jesus could see everything. We may not see Satan or his demons when they come to persuade us to sin, but we should do what Jesus did. When this pressure of the addicted sins or persuasion to sin come, it will be as if you cannot survive it, as if you cannot do without it, you know what? Just hold your peace and look beyond the people or the objects of the temptation and do as Jesus did: rebuke the demon behind in Jesus name. "Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan!" and the next thing, "Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him." Matthew 4:10, 11.

Don't bother yourself about the pressure within or without, satan is behind them, pushing them to persuade you. You may feel as if you are so weak to resist, but don't fall anyway. Since you don't use your power, you use the Word of God and name of Jesus to resist satan who is behind every sin. The pressure to sin, to have sex, to smoke, to lie, to masturbate, etc will overwhelm your body and feeling as if you will die if you don't do it, it is not so; you just hold your peace with God's word and you will see the feeling going down. The demon of that sin cannot stay long, he comes within few minutes, if you hold it and resist in that period, and you will overcome. That is the truth about temptation and addicted sins.

(2) Take a situation at a time When temptation comes in an overwhelming manner, the devil will whisper to you,"Look, you are so weak, you cannot survive this. Even if you resist it now, what about tomorrow? What about next week? What about next month? Look at yourself, pretending. You can't make it, it is better to surrender now, God will understand." That is a plain lie from the pit of hell; the truth is that when you overcome it now, you will overcome it later. Each victory will grant you more strength against the next temptation. Take it at a time; God who helps you to overcome this will help you better to overcome the next one. Don't be bothered by tomorrow temptation, for grace comes when the temptation comes. "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it." 1 Corinthians 10:12-14

(3) Think the right way! The beginning of falling into temptation is by thinking about the benefits of the temptation. So, don’t think about the benefits you will enjoy in that temptation, but think about the Word of God, think about the displeasure the temptation will bring to your Lord and Savior, think about the WORD of God and use it to resist the devil. Devil will suggest the benefits, pleasure, gain, etc in the temptation, but you must reject such and think about the Word of God and how terrible you will displease your God- displeasing your loving Savior? ….How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” Genesis 39:9

(4) Compare! Compare the magnitude of the consequences, of breaking your promise to God just for the minor/momentary pleasure of the temptation. How will you loose everything just for nothing? Consider your dedication unto God, the grace of God upon your life, the anointing of God, the growing nature of God in your life, the joy of salvation, the peace and presence of God and the confidence of heaven; think about how everything will vanish if you fall into that temptation in which you may not even have a second chance? Satan will present temptation to sin as simple as doing it and going back to Jesus for forgiveness. That yours is to sin and God's is to forgive, that God will understand. All these are satanic devices and you must not be ignorant of them.…..Hebrews 12:15, "looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled; 16 lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. 17 For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears."

(5) Ask Yourself! Ask yourself if the passing benefits of the temptation are enough to make you sin and displease your Savior who loves you so much. Just be sincere with yourself! … How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” Genesis 39:9

(6) Run! In every temptation, there is a root of escape, so after you think well, you must run immediately from the scene of the temptation. Don’t wait for another change, run now! Running can be leaving the place immediately, blocking access to the person or object of the temptation, it can be resounding and reaffirming your stand for the Lord, it can also be informing somebody about the temptation (this can be your partner, your parents or pastor. You need to know that when you are struggling with a temptation, sharing with the right person brings relief and help. But if your partner or pastor is the source of the sinful temptation, there is always a right, godly person to share with. Don’t keep it to yourself alone.) Running can also be cutting of interaction, relationship or visitation, it can be destroying or deleting the stuffs that lead to temptation, it can also be excusing yourself from the scene and so on.

Bible says, “Watch & Pray”, it’s not, “pray and watch”. The first thing is to watch, which is running. Watch, not speaking in tongues, not praying and staying there, run for your life! Genesis 39:12, “that she caught him by his garment, saying, “Lie with me.” But he left his garment in her hand, and fled and ran outside."

(7) Pray Always! If running from the appearance of temptation is watching, then praying is praying. Praying for God’s grace, strength, guidance and deliverance from temptation every day even before any temptation comes, since temptation is bound to come our ways. Matthew 6:13, "And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen"

……. then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the Day of Judgment. 2 Peter 2:9

DON’T MIND THE MISSING MULTITUDE AND THE COMPROMISING CHRISTIANS

Yesterday morning as I was driving in the city of Abuja, I got to a junction with traffic light that shown red, and then I waited. But because the road was not so busy some vehicles regarded the red light and were passing beside me, but I still waited. Later a car came from behind and also waited for the red traffic light beside me, after few seconds he couldn’t wait any longer for the green light so he passed. Then another car came beside me, he waited for the green traffic light, so there was no way other vehicles could pass than to wait for the green light. A car behind me was blowing his horn for me to disregard the red light and pass, but no way, he was forced to wait till the green light. All these happened in about 60 seconds. HERE IS THE LESSON:

In this Christian road/journey, there are 3 categories of Christians: The first category are the FAITHFUL, these are the people who care to know the mind of God and faithfully obey till the end. The second category is the MISSING MULTITUDE, these are the multitude of people who don’t care for the true word of God nor care to obey it. The third category are the people who care to know the true word of God but fail to obey till the end, so they compromise along the way.

If we want to be among the saints who will receive “Well done, good and faithful servant” greeting in heaven on the last day, then we must faithfully surrender our lives to Jesus Christ and faithfully stand on the truth to the end without missing it or compromising, we should not mind the majority who are missing it, who are misinterpreting the Word of God, who are mixing up with the world; also we should not mind the compromising Christians, pastors, churches who are messing up and molesting their white garment in the name of modern or mega church system.

You see, Christian race is personal and not collective, the fact that your popular pastor or church approves or supports something does not make that thing right before God, the fact that your church or pastor is compromising the word of God in one aspect or the other does not mean the multitude that follow such will be exonerated on the last day, the fact that multitude of Christians in the whole world are involving in a rebranded or renamed worldliness called modernization does not mean that God will change His stand and consider them to enter heaven. You must make your personal stand on the word of God and live by it; you must dare to stand on the unchanging word of God not on your church standard or pastor’s standard. The word of God is settled in heaven and will never change for this generation but ready to change this generation for God, as many who are willing to surrender to the Lord.

It is not just about knowing the truth, but living by the truth, and it is not just about living by the truth now but faithfully living by the truth till the end of your life and ministry, it is then we will receive a “Well done, good and faithful servant” in heaven!

“His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant….” Matthew 25:21.

HOW PASTORS ARE MISLEADING SINGLES IN MARRIAGE

I was reading online yesterday about what a popular pastor in Nigeria, pastor Adeboye, advised single sisters and brother in his church – RCCG. Reading through the pieces of advices, I am so much concerned how he and many pastors in different churches are misleading and destroying the glorious marital future of many Christian singles. Most of the counsels these pastors are giving their singles brothers and sisters are actually cancelling their marital future and many are so ignorant by taking such cancelling-life advices and live the rest of their lives to regret it.

One of the advices he gave single sisters is that if a man does not have a job or a steady income, sisters should not marry such a man. The question is that what if the man has a good and steady job and after marriage he loses the job, are they going to divorce? What if God is leading the sister to marry the jobless brother and go ahead for their wedding as God is leading them by faith, will the sister say NO because the brother does not have a job? Does that mean it is only marital aspect we cannot apply faith to in Christian life? This is how many sisters are missing their God’s ordained husbands.
Such counsel is not only anti-faith but also anti-biblical. He quoted Bible by saying God had already given Adam job in the Garden of Eden before giving him Eve. Such Bible reference is wrong and inaccurate because it looks as if God first created Adam, and before He gave him Eve He now created Garden of Eden. No! God had already created the Garden of Eden before He even created Adam.

According to Pastor Adeboye’s advice, single sisters should not walk by faith when it comes to marital decision, but they should walk by what they can only see. Who knows the future, except God? There are many who had good jobs last year, who had steady and steaming income before they got married but are now jobless and dependent on their wives. So if you follow such advice of walking by sight, you will miss God’s plan for your life and live to regret it.

BIBLICAL COUNSELS FOR CHRISTIAN SINGLES
Here is the right biblical advice I have for every single sister: Do not include having a job or having a steady income in the list of what a man you want to marry must have. You can have in your list as the man must be genuinely saved and be the will of God, but never include having a job or steady income in your list, if you do, you will be deceived by the devil and miss it.

I am talking from the light of God’s word and from my personal experience:

From God’s Word – The Bible says a Just shall live by faith, it also says we should walk by faith not by sight; it says we should not be moved by what we see but by what we cannot see. Only the people of the world are moved by what they see, only a worldly pastor will advise singles to walk by sight. Because what you see – the good job or no-job are temporal. I have been counseling several married sisters who are languishing in terrible marriages, and these husbands still have good jobs.

From my personal experience: When I was single, I attempted marital relationships with some sisters which didn’t work out, most of the reasons was because I had no job, no source of income, no accommodation, yet God was leading me into marriage, because God works in different ways to glorify Himself. These sisters rejected me, some their parents or pastors discouraged them and disqualified me. Does that means none of those sisters were the will of God for me? No, but when someone rejects God’s will, God will replace her. I remember a lady I was going into relationship with, and she took me to her uncle who was a pastor. The uncle was like, “whaaaat? You have no job, no business, no accommodation, and you want to marry? Is that what your Bible teaches you?

I really understood my poor financial situation but I was walking by faith God was leading me, so I didn’t care. When I met my wife, she agreed to marry me. As I was busy doing the work evangelism free of charge, she was supporting me financially. When I wanted to meet her parents, she gave me money for transport, to buy new T-shirt and to buy a fruit wine which I presented to the father. Her family accepted me as I was though they knew the consequence of my financial lack in marriage, but they believed a good future for us by faith.

God helped me, as a Christian sister borrowed me some amount of money 2 days to the wedding which I used some to rent an abandoned shop in Lagos, with no electricity, no toilet, no bath room, even the door had no key. We had no source of income and no job. Nothing except the ministry God had given us. That was how we started our lives together. It’s not about being stupid or foolish; it is about following God’s leading. You see, it’s easy to say “If God asks me to face a red sea, I will obey” but when the reality comes; it is not easy to obey.

In these 3 years of our marriage, God has blessed us to the extent that it is difficult to connect our humble beginning with our present. God has blessed us with two children, with company of our own; we have several workers working for us as we still continue in free-of-charge evangelical ministry, all without any connection or huge amount of money but only by faith and obedience to God. Sometimes, when I look at the house we are living now or when I am driving, some questions usually come to my mind:

1, What if my wife and I delay our wedding, waiting for me to get a job, not knowing what God has for us in this blessed marriage?

2, What if my wife had followed advice of pastors that a man must have a job or steady income before accepting to marry him?

3, Can I ever do enough to appreciate my wife or which family members or friends will tell me I’m doing too much for my wife who started with me in one abandoned shop, who accepted to marry with no job or income against the advice of “Daddy GO” and marriage counselors? Will our children not ever be grateful to their mother who accepted to marry their father when he had nothing? Surely they will ever appreciate her.

God makes all things work together for good. God used my poor financial situation then to marry a virtuous woman, not a calculating “sister” of a carnal pastor.

MY CONCLUSION: 2 IMPORTANT THINGS IN CHOOSING A MARITAL PARTNER
When it comes marital decision, don’t walk by sight and don’t be stupid, but be sure of God’s will and forget about the rest, either the man has no job or the sister cannot pray for 1 hour; either the person is from your church or another church, either the person is short or tall, fat or slim, educated or illiterate, from your tribe or another tribe, can cook well or does not know how to cook, the 2 important things are firstly, the person must be a genuine child of God. And how will you know? The Bible says by their fruits you will know them. Secondly, the person must be the will of God for you. You must pray and be sure this person is God’s will for you to marry because you cannot marry every child of God, but the one God has destined for you. Don’t miss these!

THE REDEEMED CHURCH AND GOD ON OPPOSITE PATHS

A proverb in Nigeria says, "When a plantain is spoiling, we say no, it is only ripping well" An unripe plantain is rich and contains several nutrients, and when it begins to ripe, it looses its nutrients and could cause health damages, but then it becomes finer, and sweeter; it becomes more presentable and attractive. The same thing is applicable with RCCG and many churches today. But the focus is on RCCG here. The founder of this church, Rev. Akindayomin, a man of holiness and righteousness, God called him and gave him a covenant church, that is Redeemed Christian Church of God - RCCG.

Then the church was unpopular because of its strict stand on holiness and righteousness. They were called "Gospel church" those who preached holiness and stood for it. They were not after materials stuffs, their sisters dressed godly, not flamboyantly, all of them were content with little and sharing with all.When their choir ministered, people bowed their heads in sober mood by the heavenly touch of the singing ministration, not like the jumping, shouting and crazy yelling with entertainment choir of today. Then companies were writing the church for employment because of the faithfulness and diligence of their members. I would not have joined them because of their standard of holiness since I was not saved then. That was the RCCG I knew when I was in Ilesha, Osun state in 1989 to early 90s.

But today, RCCG is more popular, richer and everywhere, in fact, they are proud of their parishes in every corner of Nigeria and many other countries, they are the fastest and still growing church, beautiful auditoriums everywhere. In Abuja here where I live, RCCG is like the richest church. But where are their godly virtues of old? They have exchanged their spiritual riches for materials and financial riches, they boast of financial riches while they are spiritually miserable. I lived in Redemption camp for full 6 months in 2010, and with what I saw in the dept of RCCG - the corruption, sexual immorality, unfaithfulness, etc. among the core leaders to the least members, I can categorically say this church is spiritually poor. A church where a music director wanted to sleep with a sister choir before permitting her to sing praise and worship at the Holy Ghost night? And God cannot open the eyes of the GO to discern or detect sins among people close to him and rebuke it openly as Apostle Peter did in Acts chapter 5, the GO can only discern blessings and upcoming prosperity?

Why has RCCG changed to opposite of where they stood before? Or why did Pastor Adeboye changed the landmark God gave to Rev. Akindayomin, which he upheld till he died? And you, you who were saved and brought up in the old faith when you were young, in secondary school and university fellowships, now you have joined the modern church system and worldly dress and have abandoned your beginning, seeing it as old school?

The Bible standard has gone elsewhere because of crave for population. If you are a member, worker or leader in RCCG, how many messages or books of Rev. Akindayomin do you have or have you read or listen to? Maybe none! RCCG is the only church where materials and works of the immediate past GO is evacuated almost completely. As if the books and messages of their founder who also was the immediate past leader were totally removed. None of his books or messages are promoted or reprinted, at least for every member to have access to the teachings and messages of the founder of their church. This present GO and admins will never do that, you know why? Their lifestyles, prayers and preachings are opposite the messages and standard of Rev. Akindayomin, so they CAN NEVER PROMOTE THE MESSAGES OR BOOKS of Pa Akindayomin in their present spiritual condition. Do you know any church on earth where the messages and books of the church founder and immediate past General Overseer is completely eradicated from the same church with no trace? Only in RCCG.

If God should open the eyes of Pa Akindayomin in heaven to see the church he left on earth, he will be weeping now, so also heaven is weeping on RCCG. But you are celebrating RCCG as a successful church, popular and powerful even to Aso villa here in Abuja.

The case of Pa Akindayomin and Pastor Adeboye is like the case of David and Solomon in the Bible. David fought the good fight of Faith, so also did Pa Akindayomin - we know how Pa Akindayomin started and how he ended well. But Solomon did no fighting, rather he did many buildings, from building Temple of God, to his personal buildings, to several idols, even to Chemosh - incessant building project is one of the signs of backsliding in any church. Solomon had many things, many wives, many riches, etc. just as there are many buildings and many members today in RCCG.

You must be happy of being a member or pastor of RCCG, especially if you did not witness the RCCG of old; because there is freedom, prosperity and promises and better life. No stress of holiness, no discipline of indecent dress, no restitution, everything is bureaucracy, and as long you can comply with the rules and regulations, you have no limit. But that will lead to where?

This is not the covenant church God used His servant Rev. Akindayomin to found, this is not the same church I knew in 1990, this is not the church of the Bible. Today, I will find it hard to join RCCG, not because of their high standard of holiness again, but because of their low and poor standard of holiness.

You can be very zealous to condemn this article, to choose to defend your GO rather than defending the truth. If you were not in RCCG about 20 years ago, then you may lack understanding of the beginning of RCCG, go and ask the elders who witnessed the beginning and strength of RCCG as a true covenant church of undiluted truth and holiness of heavenly minded church.

If you know where God began with you, where God was pleased with you that He made COVENANT with you, then that may help you to know where you have missed it along the way, and where you need to trace you way back. God is waiting for you at the point He made covenant with you, and same thing with Pastor Adeboye and RCCG as a whole. Go back to the old faith, the narrow old path of FEW serious minded, and stop defending this broad MULTITUDE, MANY faulty modern way before it is too late. The Rapture of the saints is imminent!

" Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’— and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and Unclad— 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your unclothedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten.Therefore be zealous and repent." Revelation 3:17-19

WHERE HELL IS REALLY LOCATED!
What you're about to read is hard to believe. . .

several years ago a book was published titled Beyond Death's Door by Dr Maurice Rawlings. Dr Rawlings, a specialist in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, resuscitated many people who had been clinically dead. Dr Rawlings, a devout atheist, "considered all religion "hocus-pocus" and death nothing more than a painless extinction". But something happened in 1977 that brought a dramatic change in the life of Dr Rawlings! He was resuscitating a man, terrified and screaming — descending down into the flames of hell:

"Each time he regained heartbeat and respiration, the patient screamed, "I am in hell!" He was terrified and pleaded with me to help him. I was scared to death. . . Then I noticed a genuinely alarmed look on his face. He had a terrified look worse than the expression seen in death! This patient had a grotesque grimace expressing sheer horror! His pupils were dilated, and he was perspiring and trembling — he looked as if his hair was "on end."

Then still another strange thing happened. He said, "Don't you understand? I am in hell. . . Don't let me go back to hell!" . . .the man was serious, and it finally occurred to me that he was indeed in trouble. He was in a panic like I had never seen before." (Maurice Rawlings, Beyond Death's Door,(Thomas Nelson Inc., 1979) p. 3).

Dr Rawlings said, no one, who could have heard his screams and saw the look of terror on his face could doubt for a single minute that he was actually in a place called hell!

". . . THEY DIG INTO THE HELL . . ." Amos 9:2
Another scientist Dr Azzacove Picks from Dr Rawling with this stunning revelation. He says "As a communist I don’t believe in heaven or the Bible but as a scientist I now believe in hell," said Dr Azzacove. "Needless to say we were shocked to make such a discovery. But we know what we saw and we know what we heard. And we are absolutely convinced that we drilled through the gates of Hell!"

Dr Azzacove continued, ". . .the drill suddenly began to rotate wildly, indicating that we had reached a large empty pocket or cavern. Temperature sensors showed a dramatic increase in heat to 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit."

"We lowered a microphone, designed to detect the sounds of plate movements down the shaft. But instead of plate movements we heard a human voice screaming in pain! At first we thought the sound was coming from our own equipment."

"But when we made adjustments our worst suspicions were confirmed. The screams weren’t those of a single human, they were the screams of millions of humans! (These details are from the translation of an article in a Finnish newspaper name 'Ammennusatia'.

Do you know why Jacques Costeau, the famous underwater explorer, quit deep sea diving sometime before he died? It is said that he stopped because he had heard in one of the underwater caves he was exploring, the sounds of people screaming.

There was also another time, when one of his men, who was in a diving bell in the deepest trench at the Bermuda Triangle, also had a similar experience. He signalled to be brought up immediately. After being revived from his shock, he told others of his frightening experience of hearing people's screams while under the deepest part of the sea.

The Bible continually warns of a place called hell. There are over 162 references in the New Testament alone which warns of hell. And over 70 of these references were uttered by the Lord Jesus Christ!

In Luke 16, Jesus Christ gives a frightening picture of hell:
22 . . . the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father�s house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. (Luke 16:22-28)

HELL IS A PLACE OF FIRE
The man in Luke 16:24 cries: ". . .I am tormented in this FLAME."
In Matthew 13:42, Jesus says: "And shall cast them into a FURNACE OF FIRE: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth."

In Matthew 25:41, Jesus says: "Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting FIRE,. . ."
Revelation 20:15 says, " And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the LAKE OF FIRE."

THE BIBLE GIVES THE LOCATION OF HELL
When Jesus Christ died on the cross, He descended into hell. In Acts 2, Peter is speaking, verse 31, " . . . seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in HELL" When Jesus Christ died His soul went into hell.

And in Matthew 12:40, Jesus Christ says: "For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly: so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the HEART OF THE EARTH. "The Bible is clear — Hell is inside the earth!

Ephesians 4:9, says of Jesus: "Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the LOWER PARTS OF THE EARTH."

On page 85 of Beyond Death Door, Dr. Rawlings writes patients who described hell said, ". . . this place seems to be UNDERGROUND or WITHIN THE EARTH in some way." Scientist and Bible teacher, Henry Morris also agrees the Bible plainly teaches that hell is in this earth:
"So far as we can tell from Scripture, the present hell, is somewhere in the heart of the earth itself. It is also called 'the pit' (Isa. 14:9, 15: Ezek. 32:18-21) and 'the abyss' (Rev. 9:2). . .

The writers certainly themselves believed hell to be real and geographically 'beneath' the earth's surface. . .

To say this is not scientific is to assume science knows much more about the earth's interior than is actually the case. The great 'pit' [hell] would only need to be about 100 miles or less in diameter to contain, with much room to spare, all the forty billion or so people who have ever lived, assuming their 'spiritual' bodies are the same size as their physical bodies." (Henry M. Morris, The Bible Has the Answer, p. 220)

The Birmingham News, April 10, 1987 had an article entitled "Earth's Center Hotter Than Sun's Surface, Scientists Say". The article stated that scientists have recently discovered, "THE EARTH'S INNER CORE HAS A TEMPERATURE OF OVER 12,000 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT!"

Have you seen pictures of a volcano erupting, spewing a lake of fire from inside the earth — consuming everything within miles just from the heat? When Mount St. Helens erupted in May 18, 1980, it was described by reporters, "When HELL surfaced upon the earth." The book, Volcanoes, Earth's Awakening (p.91) describes an erupting volcano as "descent into HELL".

YES! THERE IS A PLACE CALLED HELL!
In Numbers 16, the Bible gives the account of people falling into hell alive! "And THE EARTH OPENED HER MOUTH, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive INTO THE PIT, and the EARTH CLOSED UPON THEM:" Numbers 16:32-33

Caspar Peucer, a famous fourteenth century astronomer and physician, who also researched and documented the volcanoe eruptions at Heklafell wrote some very frightening information in his research findings. Peucer, claims (as others) that "fearful howlings, weeping and gnashing of teeth" could be heard "for many miles. . ." as these volcanoes erupted: "Out of the bottomless abyss of Heklafell, or rather out of Hell itself, rise melancholy cries and loud wailings, so that these can be heard for many miles around . . . there may be heard in the mountain fearful howlings, weeping and gnashing of teeth." (Haraldur Sigurdsson, Melting the Earth, The History of Ideas on Volcanic Eruptions, p. 73)

And Caspar Peucer is not alone. There are others who believe they have heard "cries and screaming" coming from volcanoes. Most have tried to ignore the obvious. Some simply explain the "sounds of hell" to some rational meaning. But they are there. . ."The fearsome noises that issued from some of their volcanoes were certainly thought to be the screams of tormented souls in the fires of hell below". (Haraldur Sigurdsson, Melting the Earth, The History of Ideas on Volcanic Eruptions, p. 73)
Inside this earth, this very moment, there are millions of lost, tormented souls — burning, weeping, wailing — without any hope whatsoever!

In Mark 9:46, Jesus Christ says about hell: "Where THEIR WORM dieth not, and the fire is not quenched."

Jesus said explicitly — THEIR worm — not a worm, or the worm — but THEIR worm. The Bible teaches that Christians will one day have a body like the Lord Jesus Christ. Scientists recently discovered cracks on the ocean floor where fire was leaking out. Do you know what they found around these fire-breathing vents in the crust? Eight-foot long worms, found no other place in the world! The book, The Deep Sea, by Joseph Wallace (p.39), reads, "Perhaps the strangest of ocean creatures recently discovered are Riftia, the giant tube WORMS. Measuring up to 8 feet in length, the worms are ONLY FOUND NEAR DEEP SEA VENTS."

And Jesus Christ said, "Where THEIR WORM dieth not, and the fire is not quenched."

National Geographic magazine truthfully titled their story on Volcanoes "Going To Hell". When PBS did a series on The Savage Earth, one episode was titled "Hell's Crust: Our Everchanging Planet". Everything we know. Everything we observe. Echoes the truth of a place called hell.

Nature magazine recently discovered (July 2002) what the Bible knew over 3,000 years ago. Inside this earth is "fire and brimstone": "Volcanoes may be more like hell than anyone realized. Eruptions disgorge streams of molten sulphur, the brimstone of evangelical preachers, which burns up before it can be preserved for posterity, new research in the journal Geology shows". (Nature, Science Update, July 22, 2002)

HELL IS A PLACE OF TORMENT
Jesus says of the man in Luke 16:
23 "And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in TORMENTS. . . "
24 ". . . for I am TORMENTED in this FLAME."
28 ". . .PLACE OF TORMENT."

It is humanly impossible to comprehend the Bible description of hell. Nothing on earth can compare with it. No nightmare could produce a terror to match that of hell. No horror movie could describe its fright. No crime scene with all its blood and gore could begin to match its horror.
It will be beyond anything humanly imaginable!

The Bible warns in Psalm 9:17, you will not only be in hell — you will BE TURNED INTO HELL! You will literally BE HELL! “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.” Psalm 9:17

The Bible describes it as weeping (Matt 8:12), wailing (Matt 13:42), gnashing of teeth (Matt 13:50), darkness (Matt 25:30), flames (Luke 16:24), burning (Isa 33:14), torments (Luke 16:23), everlasting punishment! Jesus Christ says in Matthew 25:41, "Depart from me, ye cursed, into EVERLASTING FIRE, prepared for the devil and his angels."

In Matthew 13:42, Jesus says: "And shall cast them into a FURNACE OF FIRE: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth."

HELL IS FOREVER!
Rev. 14:11: "The smoke of their TORMENT ascendeth up for EVER AND EVER: and they have NO REST DAY NOR NIGHT." Just look how the Bible warns of the eternity and permanence of hell:

everlasting fire - Matthew18:8, 25:41
everlasting punishment - Matthew 25:46
everlasting chains-Jude 1:6
eternal damnation -Mark 3:29
eternal judgment -Hebrews 6:2
eternal fire -Jude 1:7
unquenchable fire - Matthew 3:12
the fire that never shall be quenched -Mark 9:43, 44, 45, 46, 48
fire unquenchable - Luke 3:17
mist of darkness is reserved for ever - 2 Peter 2:17
the blackness of darkness for ever - Jude 1:13

What could possibly be worth eternity in hell? No wonder Jesus Christ warned so much about hell! No wonder Jesus said in Mark 8:36, "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and LOSE HIS OWN SOUL?"

Hebrews 9:27 says, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this THE JUDGEMENT"
Friend, it is appointed unto man once to die . . . and one day — YOU will die . . .
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments . . .

But God is a God of LOVE. . . Why would a GOD OF LOVE send me to hell? Yes, God is a GOD OF LOVE — but God is also a HOLY GOD. A HOLY GOD demands payment for sin. Otherwise God would NOT and could NOT be HOLY.

Because God is holy — sin MUST be condemned. Joshua 24:19 says, ". . he is an HOLY GOD;. . . he will NOT forgive your transgressions nor your sins."

BUT FRIEND I HAVE GOOD NEWS!
God does NOT want you in hell because hell was not made for man. Matthew 25:41 says, hell was, ". . . prepared for the devil and his angels:"

Because God is a GOD OF LOVE, and He LOVED YOU so much, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to this earth to die a cruel death on a cross to pay the price a HOLY GOD demands for your sins.
Roman 5:8 says, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. God does not send someone to hell. You choose hell when you reject Jesus Christ. When you refuse God's love gift of eternal life in Jesus Christ. . .

Millionaire Ted Turner, said in an interview,” I’m looking forward to dying and being cast into Hell. That's where I belong." You say —a fool! But friend, when you say "No" to Jesus Christ and His payment for your sin — you are saying the same thing! "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, repent from all your sins, confess and forsake them, become a new creature in Jesus and you will be saved from the terror of hell.

HELL IS NO RESPECTER OF PERSON!
One thing about Hell is it's no respecter of persons. The rich go to Hell, the poor go, to Hell, the Old go to Hell, the teens go to Hell! The Jew goes to Hell, the gentile goes to Hell! even those that never
hurt anyone, and even help others, those that are kind and generous to charities, in the worlds eyes we would say they are NOT bad enough to go to Hell with Hitler and the Satanic worshipers, murders, etc. but the bible says ALL Have sinned and fell short of the Glory of God! All of us need a perfect savior and that is JESUS CHRIST!

There is ONLY one entrance way one door into Heaven and that is YAHUSHUA /Jesus Christ! It does NOT matter how famous you are in this world, in HELL you are a NOBODY! Satan has no favorites he only wants to do one thing, to take as many souls to HELL with Him to suffer with him for all eternity! Please don't be one of these many faces! Please warn others! Grandma's, Grandpa's, Moms, Dads, Sisters, Brothers, Husbands, Wives, and Children (teens) are in HELL! All races are in hell. Warn THEM before its too late! In Hell there is no healing! You die in sickness and pain! if you choose to go to HELL after reading this I can NOT stop you its Your Choice!!!! But at least you were warned!

So, what do you want to allow taking you to hell fire? Fame or riches, position or possession, popularity or cares of this world? Let me ask you, how many years do you think people will spend in hell then after the Judgment to real hell fire? Your friends and family members who died in one sin or the other are now in hell and lost forever, the Blood of Jesus Christ is forever in vain over their lives and they will ever be with demons and devil forever and never see light. They wish they could have a minute out of your time now, but they will never. Will you not make use of your time NOW before it is too? It is not about being a Christian or pastor, it is about living a holy and righteousness life. Sin is sin, no matter how little, common or harmless. Do you really want to go to hell?

“So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 13:49,50.

Are you ready to rededicate your life to Jesus now and start a new life? The repent! Confess all your sins, ready to forsake them all and ask Jesus to forgive, cleanse you and save you.

D A V I D VS. S A U L
Both Saul and David were anointed by God as the kings of Israel, both of them conquered several battles, and both of them committed sins. But the difference is that, Saul was more concerned about his personal ego than his personal relationship with God while David was primarily concerned about his relationship with God than his personal ego. King Saul regarded the respect of people mostly, but King David regarded his reconciliation with God more than anything else. When King Saul committed a sin and God sent Prophet Samuel to rebuke him, king Saul realized he had sin but he was not ready to let go of his ego. "Then he (Saul) said, “I have sinned; yet honor me now, please, before the elders of my people and before Israel, and return with me, that I may worship the Lord your God.” 1 Samuel 15:30. But when David sinned and God sent Prophet Nathan to rebuke him, he humbled himself before God and man, and so he was pardoned. "So David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord.” 2 Samuel 12:13.

Some people do say that David committed sins but God forgave him because he knew how to praise God very well. That is a serious error and un-biblical conclusion. Such conclusion can mislead people, and it's misleading many people. Sacrifice of praise to God cannot cover your sins, in fact David himself said that any sacrifice in sin is useless to God.

"For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You do not delight in burnt offering.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
A broken and a contrite heart—
These, O God, You will not despise......Then You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness,
With burnt offering and whole burnt offering;
Then they shall offer bulls on Your altar." Psalm 51:16, 17, 19.

David received the mercies of God because he confessed and forsook his sins. Saul confessed his sin of wickedness at different times when he was pursuing David, but he did not stop pursuing David. 1 Samuel 24:17, 21; 26:2,3, 21; 27:27:1. But David confessed his sin of adultery and murder, and he never continued in the sins again. Have you read it anywhere in the Bible that David committed adultery after he had confessed to God? Never! Praise and worship does not cover sin as many preachers are saying today, thanksgiving and sacrificial giving cannot get you the mercies of God as many modern preachers are claiming today. The only two things that guarantee God's mercies are confession of sin and forsaking the sin, that is to discontinue in the sin. Proverbs 28:13, "He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy."

Do you need the mercy of God like David? Do you want to be a precious child of God, a peculiar servant of God as David was? All you need is to humble yourself, open up, confess and discontinue in such sin.

DON'T GIVE UP
"Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray" James 5:13

As a child of God, if you are seriously disturbed or any unpleasant thing happens, you may not feel like praying. You may feel so down and traumatized that you can't even consecrate in prayer, your mind is bothered and wonders away when you start praying; as you open your mouth to pray, you don't know what to say or what you have said. Then you may feel it is not the right time to pray, that you need to take your time away. The truth is that, such time is the best time to pray. Prayer is being in the presence of God, communicating with God as He does back to us, it is not a must you ask every time. Taking time away to worry will only worsen the situation.

Even when you don't know what to say, even when you mind is not focused on the prayer, just keeping praying or singing, God understands and it is then He renews our strength and hope, and gives us way-out of the situation.You remember King David in the Bible? Many times in his Psalms, he would start the psalms with bitter complaints about his situation, but before he finish, he would feel joy, hope and strength, and end the psalm with praise and faith in the Lord.

So, the next time to pray and you are down in your spirit, distracted, disturbed or discouraged and Satan suggests you should postpone the prayer, please don't, don't stop, don't give up the prayer; keep praying, keep saying something, keeping singing, even if your mind is not in the prayer, remain in the presence of God and God will renew your strength, your hope and intervene in the situation.

Psalm 13
How long, O Lord? Will You forget me forever?
How long will You hide Your face from me?
......but I have trusted in Your mercy;
My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
Because He has dealt bountifully with me.

BIBLE STUDY: FULFILLING ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS
Matthew 3:15, "But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him."

To fulfill all righteousness is not just to do something for the sake of doing it for nothing sake. To fulfill all righteousness is to follow the scriptures accordingly, even when it seems not necessary or when it looks difficult. Fulfilling all righteousness is following scriptures to the last letter as written in the Bible for the fulfillment of the righteous promises of the scriptures to come to pass.

We must follow the scripture to the end before we can see the end-result of the scripture. It's when we fulfill ALL scriptural righteousness that the scriptural promises will come to pass in our lives and ministries. When we obey or fulfill half righteousness of the scriptures, when we interpret the scripture to suite our personal conveniences, or when we obey some parts of the scriptures and see the other parts as unnecessary, we cannot have the fullness and fulfillment of the righteous promises of God.

Jesus Christ went to John the Baptist for water baptism, but John saw it as quite unnecessary for Jesus Christ to be baptized by him, in fact he said he ought to come to Jesus for baptism. But then Jesus Christ told him it was necessary to fulfill all righteousness. And after Jesus was baptized by John, as He came up from the water, behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Matthew 3:16, 17.

Three things happened after Jesus fulfilled all righteousness:

(1) HEAVENS OPENED. Heavens, not just a single heaven, all heavens were opened on Jesus. Until we fulfill all righteousness of the scriptures, we can not experience the opened heavens of God's blessings in our lives and ministries. What we are experiencing now is minor compared to when "heavens" opens. The fullness of all blessings of heavens hinges on our fulfilling all righteousness. When we desire opened heaven of God's outpouring Spirit, anointing, blessings and miracles in our lives, families, and ministries, we must first fulfill all righteousness. Half-done obedience or half-way obedience cannot reach heaven to open.

(2) SPIRIT FALLING. God has promised the outpouring of His Spirit upon us, but before this scripture can be fulfilled, we must first fulfill all righteousness of the scriptures - by following the will of God, obeying the Word of God and doing things in the way of God. Failure to fulfill all will falter the existing blessings and frustrate the expecting promises of the scriptures. The fulfillment of God's promises is not just by asking, praying or fasting; it is by fulfilling all righteousness of God.

(3) GOD'S APPROVAL: To experience the blessing of God in our lives is not as important as experiencing the Spirit of God present and working in our lives and ministries; and to experience the move and miracles of Holy Spirit in our lives and ministries is not as important as receiving God's approval at the end of our lives on earth. It's possible to get God's blessings of opened heavens, it is possible to see the move and miracle of God's Spirit, and at the end gains no entrance into heaven.

Jesus Christ said, "Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’" Matthew 7:22,23. These Christians and ministers who were disapproved by Jesus Christ experienced opened heaven of blessings in their lifetimes, they also experienced the great move and miracles of God's Spirit to the point of doing "many wonders", but they failed to fulfill all the righteousness of God in their lives and ministries, they failed to follow the scriptures to the letter, they gave their personal interpretations to the scriptures for their own conveniences. At the end, they failed to receive God's approval, and so they were doomed forever to hell despite all the blessings and anointing they had.

Jesus Christ received God's approval, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" because He fulfilled all righteousness. What if Jesus did not go to John the Baptist for water baptism? What if Jesus went to John just to visit without fulfilling all righteousness for water baptism? What if Jesus had heeded the suggestion of John the Baptism not to be baptized? He would not have seen heaven opened, then, He would not have received the Spirit falling, and He would not have received God's approval.

PERSONAL LIFE
Christianity has become so clumsy with different ideologies and doctrines that fulfilling all scriptural righteousness is not unnecessary, or it’s so tedious. In our personal Christian living, and in our different denominations, we tend to do half righteousness and fill the rest with human ideology or interpretation of the elders. We indulge in several worldliness and unfaithfulness, falling short to fulfill all righteousness. We involve in "it doesn't matter" sins, selfishness and permissiveness, and we still claim to be righteous. Little lies do not matter, little worldliness do not matter, worldly music, movies, magazines, TV reality shows, and makeup do not really matter to us any longer; exposing and expensive dress never bother us again, bribing for contracts and falsifying age for job do not matter as long as you pay your tithes faithfully.

Anger, envy, jealousy and gossip do not spoil our faith again as long we still greet one another. All these make us fall short to fulfill all righteousness, and they will make us fail to get God's approval if we do not repent. When we fail to fulfill all righteousness, then we fall short to receive God's righteous promises of eternal blessings. We need to go back to old time faith of righteousness before we can ever experience old time revival.

FAMILY
In our marriages and families, starting from courtships, do we fulfill all righteousness to keep the bed undefiled? We must fulfill all righteousness of the scriptures in our homes before we can experience God's presence. Wives must submit to their husbands irrespective of their statures, husbands must love their wives irrespective of their states, and children must obey their parents in the Lord.

The Bible says what God has joined together, let no man separate; but today, we care for money than we care for our marriage. The incessant separation because of job and business without first praying to seek God’s leading has ruined many Christian homes. Simply because of love of money and care for better financial life, we do not bother to maintain the unity of marriage; many children are wayward, many husbands have given in to strange women, and many wives are living in grave loneliness because of technical separation, because of the love of money we are running divided house. Temporal separation because of job transfer or business pursuit is not a sin, but it is not good and it will not go well with every family; that is the reason family needs to first seek God’s face for leading before moving. But the love of money and care of this world will not allow contentment and unity with little.

Oneness is Bible command in every Christian home, that is, husband and wife doing and planning EVERYTHING together, but in a case where husband has secret bank account, secret project or things he cannot disclose to his wife, and the wife has something in secret, how do you want to unite together in prayer and prevail over the enemy? How do you want to experience God’s presence in your marriage, or how will enemies not keep tormenting such Christian home when there are covered sins and past sins unrevealed?

CHURCH
In the church today, we are fulfilling scriptural righteousness to half and filling the rest with our church ordinances to suite ourselves.

Doctrines - Every denomination interpret the scriptures the way that will fit their personal interest. The members see what their senior Pastors and Bishops say as final without searching the scriptures to cross check, yes, that is like an abomination today.

Tithes- We claim the payment of tithes, we collect tithes with scriptural backing but we fail to fulfill the purpose of the tithes as clearly stated in the Bible. When the Bible says, "Bring the tithes and offerings to My storehouse, that there may be food in My house" We bring the tithes, we collect the tithes but we divert it for other purposes. We claim the promises of tithes but we don't use it for the scriptural purpose for the collection of the tithes. The biblical purpose of tithes is for distribution of the tithes for the benefits of the people who pay the tithes as the early church faithfully followed and fulfilled it. Acts 2:45; 4:35. While the scriptural purpose of the tithes is to build people in God's kingdom, we are busy building ultra modern church auditoriums.

The Bible purpose of the tithes and offerings is for Food - spiritual food for the people - for free materials; physical food for the people - for free food provisions, free basic healthcare, free library and schools for the same people who paid the tithes; instead, we are busy building multimillion church edifice. Church’s secondary schools are unavoidable, our church universities are more expensive than Government schools, and yet we pray for revival in our churches. How can there be revival of Holy Spirit when there is no faithfulness? We claim to have holiness church, but how can a church that is not faithful with money be a church of holiness? How can we claim to run a Bible church when we can’t be faith with usage of tithes as clearly stated in Old Testament and clearly followed by the New Testament church?

We give several excuses of using the tittle for administrative purposes and others, that is nothing but extra biblical misuse of fund; it is siphoning money for unbiblical purposes. The early church could also give excuses but they knew they had to fulfill all righteousness just as it is written in the scriptures, so that they would not fall short at the end. No wonder we pray and fast for revival but only to see more reversal. When we want to collect the tithes, we claim the scriptures, but when we want to use it, we say that is how churches in American and Europe use the tithes for administrative purposes. No wonder we are not having Bible church again, but American church; no wonder we are not seeing our signs again, no wonder enemies are insulting and assaulting the church, because we are not faithful, even we money. Until we fulfill all righteousness, until we are faithful to all the scriptural commands to the letter, we will keep recycling. If biblical administrative system is too old for us in our modern world, then we are too fragile to contain the old time revival.

Let’s go back to the old path of fulfilling all scriptural righteousness, no matter how old or odd it seems, so that we can experience the old time revival in our lives, homes, ministries and churches.

Hosea 6:1-3
Come, and let us return to the LORD;
For He has torn, but He will heal us;
He has stricken, but He will bind us up.
2 After two days He will revive us;
On the third day He will raise us up,
That we may live in His sight.
3 Let us know,
Let us pursue the knowledge of the LORD.
His going forth is established as the morning;
He will come to us like the rain,
Like the latter and former rain to the earth.

FULFILLING PURPOSE IN LIFE
There is difference between fulfilling your purpose in life and fulfilling God’s purpose for your life. These are two different statements that mean two different things, but many are getting it wrong, thinking they are both same thing applicable. No! These are opposite and never can be the same. The prosperity preachers and motivational speakers, inspired by Satan, are doing havoc to many people by misleading them. Here is a clear clarification:

Fulfilling Your Purpose -To fulfil you purpose is to seek to be successful in life in the eyes of the people. You don’t need to be born again, you don’t need to live for God, and you don’t need to follow God’s leading, you just discover what you want or like by your PASSION, PLEASURE AND POWER and pursue it.

Fulfilling your purpose is pursuing your will, what you like or any opportunity that comes your way. Most time our purposes are opposite to God’s purpose for our lives, our ways and wills are often contrary to God’s. You can be successful before men but at the same time a figure of failure before God, you may be rich financially and materially but poor spiritually; you may be very popular on earth but unknown to heaven. You may be working hard to fulfil your purpose and working contrary to God’s purpose for your life.

Many are wonderfully fulfilling their purpose in life but unfortunately working against God’s purpose for their dear lives – for two reasons here:

First, your desired purpose or passion may be sinful or unscriptural. For example, God does not create anybody for the purpose of entertainment in life – comedy, secular music and movies, etc. All the people in entertainment are working hard against God’s purpose for their lives and they are missing God’s purpose for their lives already. You know why? Because entertainers are sugar of the world, to sweet like sugar, ministering to human feeling and emotion causing spiritual and moral diarrheal, but every genuine child of God is a salt of the world, to season like salt, ministering to human soul and spirit for outward transformation.

Entertainment, sinful professions or products, makeup services and many of their kinds are ungodly purpose and pursuit in life. There are many purposes and passions in life that are sinful and go against God’s will, that is the reason a child of God cannot just fulfill a purpose but God’s purpose.

Secondly, your desired purpose may be good and scriptural but not God’s will for your life. When you surrender your life to Jesus Christ, you accept Him as the Lord, Director, Commander, Controller, and Judge of your life; it is no longer your wish, will, personal desire or passion again, but His will and purpose and plan for your life. You may desire to be a medical doctor but God may say, “No, you must be a lawyer, because that is my purpose for you.” And if you have truly surrendered your life to Jesus, what will be your response, “Not, my will but your will Oh Lord!”

As a child of God, you must seek to know God’s purpose for your life, why He created you, and fulfill it. We must seek the will of God on what, where and when in every aspect of our lives. It is not hard to discover God’s purpose for your life as long you are a child of God, but it is hard for many to follow God’s purpose because it clashes with their own personal purpose.

The only way you can live a fulfilled life on earth is by fulfilling the purpose for which God created you, the only way you can do that is by first surrendering your life to Jesus Christ and be transformed, because you must become one of the sheep before you can follow the Shepherd, not a goat.

Are you fulfilling God’s purpose for your life or you are fulfilling your own purpose in life? Are your pursuits in life scriptural or worldly? And are they directed by God or by yourself? You are created by God for His good purpose, don’t let today pass by without discovering and doing it, do not leave this world without fulfilling God’s purpose to the letter, or why will you meet Him empty handed?

Surrender to Him, seek Him and serve Him.
“Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.” Isaiah 43:7
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10

THE RE-APPOINTMENT OF DISAPPOINTMENT OF LIFE
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28.

I was in several relationships before I eventually met my wife, some of these relationship ended up in disappointment, but at the end God turned the disappointment into re-appointment. The same thing has happened in other aspects of my life, terrible disappointments which eventually turned to be a blessing and better re-appointment. That exactly the promises of God for us His children, He said that all things work together for our good, including those disappointments that come your way now, God is working on them to make them re-appointments of blessings.

As long we love the Lord, we need not to be so disturbed by any disappointments that come our way. Yes some disappointments are so painful and unexpectedly that shake us, but when we have it at the back of our mind that God is at work, working to bring good and better thing out of the terrible situations we face, we will not be so disturbed or weakened.

Whichever or wherever disappointment that comes our way, while Satan and his agents are busy working disappointment on our ways, while human beings are busy working disappointments on our way, God is laughing at them, working something good and better for us behind. And so behind every disappointment along the way of every child of God is a better re-appointment from God. Take note from today.

Too bad?
Sometimes we wonder why would God allow situation to get too bad before He would intervene, we even think our situation might have gone too bad that no testimony can sweetably come out from it. But the truth is that no matter how worst our situation is or we think it is, God can always work wonder from the worst situation. When we are so worried that we think God cannot work wonder from our worst situation, it only means our faith is weak, not our God.

You Have Got To Answer This Question
“He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:32. The question from this Bible passage is, if God could bring wonderful things from the most terrible thing that ever happened in the history of the world – the condemnation of the only ever sinless Man on earth and His dead on the cross, then how will He not bring good things from your worst situation as His child?

As long we love God with all our heart, He will always make EVERYTHING to work together for our good. But Satan will want to discourage us to deny or delete our love for God because of hard situation we are passing through, he will want to paint God as wicked as if God does not care for us or our situation has gone beyond repair, whereas he knows God is working some things great for us. Beloved, don’t be deceived by Satan. God is working everything for your good. No matter the situation, you should always have it at the back of your mind, that as long you still love God with all your heart, He will never work against you, but for your good, He will never disappoint you and He will always make all things to work together for your good, including the efforts of your enemies, when they think they are working against you, God forces them to work together for your good.

Too Late?
What you need to know when your expected blessing gets too late is that God wants to make it the latest, so don’t settle for the less and don't lose your long-time relationship with God.


What Of My Mistakes, Sins And Errors Of The Past?
This is one of the mysteries and multiple wonders in Christianity, that God makes our past mistake, sinful lifestyle and errors to work together for good of our present live in Jesus Christ. Here is the word of God, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28. All the wrongs choices of your past, the sinful and wasteful lifestyle of your past, even the loss of your past God miraculously use them to work together for your good in your new life in Jesus Christ.

So you can see that all we need to do is to love God in Christ and remain in the Love of God, in living to please and serve Him, because when we love God, we have nothing to lose, when we love God with all our heart, we will not loss together with this world, but everything will work together for our good.

God led me today to speak comfort to His children, and as long you are a child of God, totally surrendered to His word and will, and you are having sorrow or situation of hardship, I pray everything should begin to work together for your good in JESUS NAME. Amen

REPAIRING THE ALTAR OF GOD IN YOUR LIFE
1 Kings 18:30, “Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come near to me.” So all the people came near to him. And he repaired the altar of the LORD that was broken down.”

Before you can experience the manifestation of God in your life, and before there can be fire of revival in your life, ministry and church, there is need to repair the altar of God in your life. The altar of God in our lives is the level of our commitment, consecration and separation unto God – the center of our attention and priorities. We need to totally reconsecrate, recommit ourselves to God in repentance from all sins and to holiness; we need to separate ourselves from ungodliness, worldliness, compromise and care of this world.

To repair the altar, the first thing to do is REPENTANCE. 2 Chronicles 7:14, “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” The second thing is SEPARATION. We must separate ourselves from sin, worldly attachments and the cares of this world. 1 Samuel 7:3, 4, “Then Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying, “If you return to the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths from among you, and prepare your hearts for the LORD, and serve Him only; and He will deliver you from the hand of the Philistines.” The third thing to do is CONSECRATION, to seek the Lord His word and prayer. Acts 6:4, “but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.” Then the fire will fall into our lives, our family, and ministries and in the church.

To keep the fire burning, there is need for COMMITMENT. We must commit ourselves into pleasing God, into holiness and righteousness. We must commit ourselves in LOVE for one another. Selfishness, self-centeredness, is cold water that quenches fire of God in lives and ministries. When the love of brethren waxes cold, the fire of revival is put out; disunity quenches the spirit and quickens self.

One of the major reasons there is no revival and fire of God in many lives, many ministries and churches, even after they have consecrated themselves unto God, and separated themselves from sins; the reason is lack of love – selfishness. The fire of God can never fall or burn on the altar void of love. Love keeps the altar dry for fire to burn, without love for one another and sharing with one another, one cannot experience fire of revival no matter how prayerful or pure one is. Songs of Solomon 8:7.

In the Acts of Apostles, the church experienced continuous great revival because of great love among them. Love does not come by just preaching love but by practicing love. Without practical love there can NEVER be the move of God’s power in a family or church, let them pray and fast for 120 days. The early church experienced mighty power of God in their services and fellowship not by long fasting but by love, sharing accomplished with holiness.

Acts 4:33-37
“And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. 34 Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, 35 and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need.
36 And Joses, who was also named Barnabas by the apostles (which is translated Son of Encouragement), a Levite of the country of Cyprus, 37 having land, sold it, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.”

Many Christians want the fire of God in their lives, many ministers greatly desire power of God to manifest in their ministrations and every church long for fire of revival, they take more time to pray and pray and fast for it; some go to mountain, long days of fasting, different prayers and program for revival, but why are they not seeing their signs? It is because of selfishness and self-centeredness. If you are really ready for the fire of revival in your life, you will not allow the things of this world to attract you, will not be running after latest cars, phones and other stuffs; you will not be absorbed with earthly projects of buying or building houses that you will not be able to bountifully share with your brethren, family and friends. The people in the Acts of Apostles sold their houses and land and shared, but you are busy with how to buy and build and you want to experience the same fire of God? It does not work that way.

Churches who claim holiness without love and sharing among themselves will never experience fire of revival in their midst.
1 John 4:7, “ Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.” As a child of God, when you freely share with all, you will definitely experience the fire of revival in your life, family and ministry.

FIRE OF REVIVAL, SHOWERS OF RAIN
When there is revival in the land, in our lives, abundant of rain ensued. Shower of rains of salvation, many people turning to Christ, and lives being transformed for Christ. Shower of rains of healing, deliverance and all blessings in our lives and in our land. 1 Kings 18:41, 45, “Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.” “Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel.”

CONCLUSION
Repentance from every sin, separation from every worldly attachment, commitment to watchfulness, holiness, truth, righteousness, love and consistent prayer keep the fire of revival burning in us, in our families and in our ministries.

We need the fire of God for us to be fervent for God, and for the works of Satan to be consumed in our midst and through our ministrations. 1 Kings 18:38, “Then the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench.”

PRAYER
Our heavenly Father, we come before you again, we humble ourselves before You. We ask you to forgive us all our sins as we repent, we ask You to cleanse us with the precious Blood of Your Son Jesus Christ. And we ask You to send Your fire of revival upon us to consume every work of Satan in our lives and quicken us in Your work. Revive us again and cause us to rejoice in You forever. We ask in Jesus Christ name. Amen

BIBLE STUDY: DISCIPLE OF CHRIST OR CHURCH MEMBER?
Matthew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”

Jesus Christ gave us the command to make disciples of all nations, which is what the Great Commission is all about. But the difference is the case in our churches today. People are focused on making members for their different denominational churches in the name of working for God. But if you look closely to the Master’s commandment, He didn’t say, “Make church members of all the nations” He said, “make disciples of all the nations” Matthew 28:19.

There is a clear difference between making disciples and making church members; there is a crystal clear difference between being a Christ’s disciple and being a church member. You can be a certified, recognized and appreciated church’s member, who is well known in the church, did all sorts of New Covert’s, Believers or Membership trainings, and yet you are not a disciple of Christ. You can go through all these “so called” workers trainings, ministers trainings or Pastoral trainings and yet you are not a disciple of Jesus Christ, you can be so committed into your church, that most of your time and money are spent on different church’s activities, programs and services, and you are not a disciple of Jesus Christ. You can be devoted to your church as a member, as a worker, as a leader, minister or pastor and yet not a disciple of Christ Jesus.

The Great Commission Jesus Christ gave to us is, “Make disciples of all nations” But the devil has deceived us and turned it to “make church members of all nations”. That is the reason you see every denominations struggling to have large number of members that is the reason you see them everywhere, every street, they want to have their own denominational branches or assemblies or parishes, whatever name they call them.

Think about it, if a church or a Pastor says they want to create another branch or parish in a particular street, is it because there are no existing biblical churches in that particular location? If the motive is that all or most denominations in the area are unbiblical and teaching errors, that is good. But they create their new branches there and preach and teach the same thing. They don’t care about that, their mission and focus is to make members from every street, every town, city and state, but not necessary in every village. Because they are not after the mission of making disciples, they only want to make members for their denominations.

You will see in a particular street where different denominational churches are staying side by side. You will see a two, three storey building of different denominations on each floor, the ground floor is denomination A, the first floor is another denomination of B, and second floor is a different Pentecostal denomination C. When church A is doing Sunday School, church B who does not do Sunday School in her denomination will be doing heavy Praise Worship with loud shouts and instruments, and church C will be having a “fireful” and prophetic moment of prayer; all at the same time with their speakers loud enough so as not to be overshadowed and suppressed by the other church. Everything will be boiling in the air, in the name of serving God? This is because they are looking for members not disciples. It is confusion; it may be seen as united confusion, friendly confusion or prophetic confusion; whatever name we call it, such is confusion and God is not an Author of confusion.

Every church wants to have the largest congregation, many branches or parishes and many rich people, all in the name of the Lord. Competition and rivalry among denominations all in the name of the Lord.

It’s a terrible thing in the Christianity of today that the devil has turned the Great Commission to the great competition. The devil has diverted and deceived pastors and churches to think and believe that making church members, creating more parishes or branches are as the same as making disciples. You see more denominations and more parishes of churches today, and at the same time you see more sins, more evil, more competitions, and more immorality. Why? Because most of these pastors and their churches are only making members not disciples. Anybody can be a member, but a not a disciple.

Anybody can be a worker, an ordained minister of a church. Is it not to be regular, committed and do their different classes? But it takes those who are genuinely saved, regenerated, who have forsaken their sins and living new life in Jesus to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ. John 8:10, 11, 31, 32.

THE DIFFERENCE IS CLEAR!
There are clear differences between a church members and a disciple of Jesus Christ:

A disciple of Christ is somebody who genuinely comes to Jesus Christ for the salvation of his soul and eternal life and keeping following Him for the bread of life. John 6: 63-67. But a church member may have other purposes like problem solving, prosperity, prophecies, healing, etc.

A disciple of Christ is somebody who come to Jesus and repent from all his sins, forsake them and continuing in the Word of God. Acts 14:21,22. A church member does not necessarily need to be genuinely saved; they may just answer altar call and be committed and faithful to the church ordinances. Are you a disciple or a church member?

To make disciples, Christ, and Him alone must be preached with the sole aim of leading people to salvation in Christ and helping them to grow and live in holiness, truth and righteousness, and to make heaven. To make members, no need of priority of genuine repentance, salvation, restitution and holiness of life, just preach what will attract people in the name of Jesus. If your purpose is to make people get to heaven, it’s not a must to make them members of your church. You can have thousands members in your church and none of them is a disciple of Christ. The population of a church is not in proportion to the spiritual value of that church. The number of the members in a church is not in any proportion to the number of Christ’s disciples in that church.

ANYTHING GOES!
Many pastor and church is looking for numerical growth today, they want to make members of every nation, every city and every street, and they are ready to preach and perform anything, ready to change any standard to have this dream of mega church come through.

Some denominations say their vision is to have their denominations at every corner of every street and to make members for their denominations from every family. That is a human and personal ambition and not Christ’s ambition. It’s an idea generated from personal ambition to build personal empire not the kingdom of God. You see, there are some things that you don’t need to speak in tongues or have the gift of prophecy before you know if they are biblical or not; all you need to do is to check the Word of God and compare them with the Scriptures that doesn’t change. Jesus said, “make disciples of all nations” He didn’t say, “make your church members of all nations” The only means such denominations can justify their visions or missions is if they claim and prove that their church is the only biblical church through which people can get to heaven and through their church alone people can become disciples of Christ. But if you don’t believe your church is the only church recognized by God and that not all your church’s member are real disciples of Christ, then you don’t need to have your church’s member in every family and at every corner. Christ’s mission is to have His disciples in every family not in your own denomination, except if you believe only your church members are Christ’s disciples in the world.

Most of the missions in the ministries today are selfish, self ego generated missions. Pastors are just building their own empires in the name of God. Pastors are seeking their personal glory in the name of working for God. They are using you to fulfill their own ambition and personal agenda, to boost their personal ego in the name of working for God. They want to have large congregations; they want to have the biggest church auditoriums – multibillionaire, so that it will be written at the back of their books – for that, they are ready to swear on both Testaments, to say anything with God’s name to convince you.

SOME UN-BIBLICAL METHODS OF MAKING AND MAINTAINING MEMBERS
(1) Membership Certificate
Most pastors and their churches today are using various strategies to make and maintain members. Some even go to the point of making their church members to have membership certificate. That is funny. They may tell you, “If you don’t go through our membership class and have certificate, you are not a bona fide member of this church” there are different classes in different churches today, to promote holiness and maintain old standards or maintain members? You wonder why you didn’t hear such things among our founding fathers of faith. Well, you can certify somebody as a genuine member of your church, right? You can be certified by your pastor or General/Senior Pastor as a genuine member but you may not be part of the Disciples of Christ. Having your name written in your church’s book does not mean your name is written in the Book of life in heaven.

Paper certificate is useless; membership certificate is immaterial to becoming disciple of Christ. It may be part of the modern system to maintain church membership. If our genuine aim is to help people to be true Disciples of Christ, there is no need making them to be your certified church members as if being recognized as a genuine member of your church has anything to do with being recognized in heaven. Only Jesus knows His own in a church, no pastor can judge by certificate the true and genuine members of Christ’s kingdom. The classes and certificates are not enough evidence to certify people as genuine disciples of God. Only God can determine His own in the public meeting, so such act is usurping God’s territory and very inadequate.

You see, in those days, our founding fathers of faith were not using all these human ideas, they only preached Jesus alone, and it was evidential in their own personal lives and the lives of the members, because the Bible says by their fruits you will know them, not by their church’s certificates or by their commitment to their church classes and activities. Being a devoted church member or minister does not imply you are a true disciple of Christ. Your church can say anything to sooth you, to make you so confident as if you are a candidate of heaven as long you come to their church, if you build your life on that, it will amount to disappointment at the end of your life.

(2) Membership Marriage
Some churches go to the point of telling their church members not to visit any other churches or marry from another church apart from their own. That is nothing but selfish ideology, not Christ’s or biblical ideas. Not all churches are biblical but that does not mean every other church apart from your own is unbiblical. How can we invite other church members to our church and we don’t want our own church members to be invited to other churches? That is not the commandment of Jesus Christ and has nothing to do with the Great Commission. Jesus says, “Do unto others as you want them to do to you” if you don’t want your church members to attend or visit other denominations, then you don’t need to invite people from other denominations too. It’s all about personal and human ambition and wisdom to make and maintain members. Except if such denomination can biblical prove that their own denomination is the only heavenly recognized church on earth and all others are fake and all their members are sinners going to hell.

Some churches don’t allow their single sisters to go and marry in another denominations, maybe they can allow their single brothers to marry from another denominations and bring the women to their church but not that their sisters would go and marry in another church and then join the church. If your ambition is for kingdom of God, not for your own personal denomination, you don’t need such smart not-biblical tactic. The Bible standard for choosing marital partner is simply “only in the Lord” 1 Corinthians 7:39. It doesn’t says, “Only in your denominational church” a selfless pastor will not care if his single members marry from his church or not, he will only care if the person is in the Lord, not necessarily in your denomination.

Teaching or persuading people to marry only in your denomination is an extra-biblical teaching, EXCEPT you are saying only your church members are in the Lord and other children of God from all other denominations are outside the Lord. You don’t justify people by the church they attend, that is an ungodly judgment, heaven doesn’t recognize any denomination and no denomination is registered in heaven, only people who are washed by the Blood of the Lamb and living daily in righteousness, truth and holiness are recognized in heaven, irrespective of your denominations. So why are we fighting, competing and dividing more and more everyday as if becoming a church member is the same with the command of Jesus Christ of becoming His true disciples and making disciples for Him? Why can’t we base on the biblical standard that by their fruits you shall know those who are truly in the Lord and not by their denominations? Why can’t we stop the great competition of making members for our churches and let’s start the Great Commission of making disciples for Christ Jesus of all nations and of all denominations?

(3) Motivational Methods
Some pastors, in the process of making more members, they changed their messages to motivational, miraculous speaking in order to sooth people. Since many people want preachers that will deceive them by telling them what they want to hear not what they need to hear. So to make many members you must make mention what the many people want to hear at many times. People want motivational messages not rebuking messages, people want prosperity messages not message of purity, people want to go to churches where they perform miracles not where they practice holiness. So many preachers have become motivational speakers; others go to the point of getting demonic powers to perform miracles. You preach prosperity, breakthrough, faith for fantastic living and to overcome problems of life, but not the faith for holy life or to overcome temptations. They preach materials blessings and business success with long life. They sweeten their messages to psych your emotion and make you scream, to motivate you in your sins not from your sin. And you feel calmed, cooled and comfortable in your sins but uncomfortable with poverty.

With these, preachers can only make members for their denominations; with these, you can only become a member of a denomination and not disciple of Christ Jesus. You can be busing preaching, praying and sacrificing in the name of serving God, but all for nothing for your eternity. If your preaching, praying and teachings are not turning people to righteousness, all your effort are baseless. The Bible says in the book of Daniel 12:3, “Those who turn many to righteousness shall shine like stars forever and ever.” That is for people who are wise not the foolish ones.

If your purpose for the ministry or God’s work is to turn people to prosperity, to business success, wealthy life, healing and miracles, you are a big looser because no eternal reward for you. Only those who turn people to righteousness are recognized and will be rewarded in heaven. You may be popular here on earth and prospered and rich, but when this world passes away, your gains also pass away. If you are a member or minister of any of church but you are not living a righteous life, you are a great looser. Imagine your offerings, sacrifices and services are waste, your effort and giving are useless. You are just busy for nothing, your pastors and church can be deceiving you to continue like that as if everything is fine with you, they can try to misinterpret the Bible to calm you; Satan can be throwing miracles into your way in the name of testimonies to make you feel as if nothing is wrong or God is okay with you, but you alone has the power to choose not to be deceived by people or satan.

PERSONAL EXAMINATION
You can examine your own life, put aside all the physical and material testimonies, the certificates, the ordained “tittles”, the position you have in and outside the church; are you a true disciple of Jesus Christ or just a church member, minister? It’s not by claiming or ordinary confession, but it’s by your fruit testified to by people. If you are not yet a true disciple of Christ, you can become one NOW. All you need is to be sincere with yourself, realize your situation and repent from all your sins both open and secret ones and ask Jesus to forgive you as you determine to forsake them. Start a simple and sincere new life in Jesus with daily Bible reading and prayer and be zealous for God’s work not a church works.

THE BLESSINGS OF ABRAHAM
LUKE 16:25, "But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented."

In Christianity today, we claim the blessing of Abraham as a reason for every child of God to be rich, that is great, but the blessings of Abraham is more than the passing riches of this world, Abraham's blessing was much more than financial blessing and material stuff. Lazarus was a son of Abraham, in fact, when he died, he was right at the bosom of Abraham, yet he was poor on earth. That means Abraham blessings are not just physical, they are spiritual blessings - justification in Jesus Christ. God can choose to make any of His children financially rich and He may also choose not.

It’s not a must for the child of God to be rich financially and materially, but it’s a must to be rich towards God. Jesus never promised financial prosperity to His followers, since no place in the Gospel books or throughout the teachings and episodes of the Apostles, and in the book of Revelation that financial or material prosperity was promised to those who follow and serve Christ.
It’s not a sin for a child of God to be rich, but it’s not a must, as many preachers are claiming. Financial riches and wealth is so minor and additional that a genuine child of God and minister of God will not focus his attention on it. The priority of a serious minded Christian is to live according to God's word and fulfill God's will on earth.

The temporal "good things" are not as important as the eternal good things. If you allow the good things of this world to distract you from serving God, if you allow the good things of this world to take away your salvation and integrity in Christ, you are making yourself another "rich man" of this generation who had his "good things" and ended up in hell of eternal torment.
Do not give what you need forever for what you need for few days. Surrender all to Jesus and serve Him with whatever you have, no matter what!

MY DAMAGED CAR BUMPER
Two days ago, my wife and I with our little boy were coming from work in the evening, as I drove close to our street’s around-about, we met a long hold-up traffic, just as I was driving out of the traffic, I saw this Okada guy (commercial motor cycle rider) riding roughly, waved from the car in front of me and seriously hit our car in the front. The motorcycle rolled away as the guy tumbled and fell down somewhere. I decided to park from the road, not to block other vehicles coming. I saw my car’s bumper completely damaged.

For me go and meet the Okada guy who was lying on the road with his bike, I was surprised that the guy had vanished with his motorcycle, his colleagues helped him to escaped, knowing fully well that he had bought a market he didn’t plan for which he might not be able to afford. I managed driving the car home and took it to workshop yesterday to change the bumper and the small light, the expenses I didn’t budge for.

THE OFFENDED AND THE OFFENDER
I wasn’t happy with the situation that happened as the guy damaged my car and escaped without saying “sorry” thinking that he was smart and putting me in additional expenses I didn’t budge for, but what do I want? Do I want God to provide for me and replenish my pocket more in 100 folds of what I spent to repair the car or I want God to punish the okada guy who damaged my car in 100 fold? Or I want both? This I was meditating yesterday and God use the incident to teaching me this valuable lesson…..

Prosperity Or Punishment?
When somebody tenderly or terribly offends you, and you are painfully affected, what is the outermost desire of your heart, do you want God to replenish your loss and prosper you even more than before as you move on with your life and forget about the offense and the offender as you enjoy the joy and multiple blessings of God, or your outermost desire of your mind is for God to punish the offender that she or he will regret it in life forever for what she or her did to you as you stay somewhere in bitterness and unforgiveness, waiting for the news of calamity from the offender? If God should choose the top desire of your heart when you are offended, is it going to be the prosperity and progress of your own dear life or punishment of your enemy or the person who hurts you?

Unfortunately, many Christians are after God to punish their offenders more than for God to prosper and replenish their lost, boasting, “Except if I am not serving a living God, you will see” And what do you stand to gain to see your offender becoming miserable? I heard a not-funny story of pastor’s wife in her neighborhood, her neighbor offended her and she was seriously hurt, though she didn’t want to raise her voice and begin to curse as her old way of life before she became converted, yet she was hurt and she didn’t want to let go, so she said, “Oh except if I am not serving a true God, except if you didn’t hurt me, that my God will not ruin and destroy your life, that He will not scatter your life in pieces…..” The woman began to raise curses on her neighbor in the name of God.

The Replenish mentality VS Revenge Mentality
Sometimes, God allows some losses to come our ways so He can use the occasion to multiply us and replenish our losses even in 100 folds, but many times we do not key in to gain God plans to unleash on us after the loss, but we are after the revenge of the offender because of our old mentality.

When someone unlawfully breaks away from you in business, maybe your worker or partner, when someone breaks away from you in marital relationship, in ministry or in anyway, what is your outermost desire? Is it for God to replenish and multiply you as you move on from the spot the person left you? Or that God should punish the person who unlawfully breaks away and become miserable that he or she will come back begging you as you remain in the same spot, tied down by bitterness and unforgiveness in the same spot?

When Lot unlawfully broke away from Abraham with the best portion, thinking he was smart, what was God’s concern for Abraham? Did God tell Abraham, “My son, don’t worry I will punish Lot, and he will regret what he did, he will know you have a great God who called you out from your father’s house.” No, God did not say that to Abraham, because God knows Abraham has nothing to gain from the punishment of Lot, but God told Abraham:
“And the LORD said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward; 15 for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever. 16 And I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth; so that if a man could number the dust of the earth, then your descendants also could be numbered.” Genesis 13:14-16.

That is the mind of God for all His children, how He will replenish and multiply us when we have a loss, when someone offends us, when people unlawfully break away from us in business, in marital relationship, in ministry or in anyway; and this mind of God for greater replenishment should also be our mentality, not for revenge. We should repent from every bitterness or unforgiveness as a result of evil or loss anybody caused us, and trust God to use every occasion to work for our betterment. We should also pray for the offenders and break-away people that God should save them just as Abraham prayed for Lot – Genesis 18:23-33, we should wait on the Lord for their salvation, not waiting for calamity to befall them. We may not need them in our lives again, (especially if you are not married the person) but as we go on our different paths, we should desire good news from both sides. That was the mentality of Abraham.

The mind of God is that we should pray for our enemies, those who despitefully used us with our finance, with our time resources, in marriage or in anyway, as we do this God will cause replenishment and refreshment into our lives and cause repentance to the offender, and only the devil will be the looser. Amen!

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

SPECIAL PRAYER POINTS FOR EVERY CHILD OF GOD (1)

ABOUT THE PRAYER POINTS:

The watered wood here may represent worldliness, waywardness, etc.The stones represents stubbornness of heart, stony heart and stubborn adamic sinful nature. The dust may represent cares of the world, distraction of the devil and his shadow in lives, marriage and ministry. And the water in the trench means spiritual coldness, prayerlessness, lack of passion for God's word and God's work.

PRAYER POINT:
LORD, let Your consuming fire consume every wood, stone, dust, and water in the trench on the altar of my spiritual life.

Prayer this for 30 minutes. We are waiting for revival!

Time is Fast Running Out (2) - PLEASE READ!
– Testimony of Hell & Heaven (Summary) by Victoria Nehale ( Part 2)

2nd Trip to hell
On October 18 2005 I woke up at 05H30 but I could not go to work. I was feeling very weak and drunk; I could not move or turn around in my bed, and the presence of the Lord was very heavy in the room. I was trembling and felt electricity going through my body. The Lord came to take me just before 08H00 because the last time I had looked at my watch, it was 07H48, and he arrived very shortly after that. He greeted me and said that we should go again because time was fast running out.

I stood up and we began to walk. The way we were walking on this day was very different from all other times; although our legs were doing the walking movements, we were sort of floating more than walking. While we were on our way, Jesus told me that all sins are bad and there is nothing such as small sin and big sin. All sin will lead to death, no matter how big or small. The Lord told me that we were going to visit Hell again and then He asked me if I was afraid. I answered that I was afraid.

He said, "The spirit of fear is not from My Father or from Me, it is from the Devil. Fear will cause you to do things that will land you in hell."

Without faith it is impossible to please God and fear is the direct opposite of faith. It is obvious that fear does not please God because it destroys one's faith. For the whole time we were on our way, we were walking side by side but as soon as we arrived at the gate of Hell, He took my hand into His and held it for every second we were in Hell. I was very happy that the Lord was holding my hand because the firm grip of His hand removed all the fear from me. The place was still the same: nothing was different from the first time. There were flies, worms, extreme heat, the smell, skeletons, the noise: everything was just as it was the first time I was there. We entered the same ugly gate again and the Lord took me to one group of people.

There were many people I knew when they were still alive on Earth. The poor people were in a terrible state; they looked miserable and in great agony but the worst of all was the look of hopelessness on their faces.

The Lord pointed out one middle-aged woman whom I knew before her death. She had died in a car accident at the beginning of 2005. I was shocked to see that woman in Hell because we all knew her as a God-fearing and God-loving person. The Lord told me that that woman loved Him and He also loved her; she had served Him when she was on Earth; she had led many people to the Lord and she knew the Word very well. She was kind to the poor and needy; she gave to them, and helped them in many ways. She was a good servant of the Lord in most ways.

Those words of the Lord shocked me even more and I asked Him why He would let someone who had served Him so well end up in Hell. The Lord looked at me and said that this lady had believed the deception of the Devil. Although she knew the Scriptures well, she believed the lie of the Devil that there are big sins and small sins. She thought that a ‘small' sin would not lead her to Hell because, after all, she was a Christian.

The Lord continued, "I went to her many times and told her to stop what she was doing but many times she would reason that what she was doing was too small and she attributed my warning to her own feelings of guilt. There was a time when she stopped for a while but then she convinced herself again that the warning was not from Me but her own voice because that sin was too insignificant to grieve the Holy Spirit."

I asked the Lord again to tell me what the sin was that this woman has committed and He answered me thus, "This woman had a friend who is a nurse at Oshakati Hospital. Whenever this woman was sick, she would not go to hospital and pay for her hospital card as normal practice; she would just pick up the telephone and tell her friend to organize medicine for her from the Hospital Dispensary. Her friend would always oblige and tell her to pick up the medicine at a particular time. Firstly, she decided to accept the lie of the Devil about small and big sin and rejected my truth; she caused somebody else to sin and steal on her behalf but, worst of all, she grieved the Holy Spirit. This is what caused her to be in Hell. It does not matter whether you bring millions of souls to the Lord; it is still possible to go to Hell for grieving the Holy Spirit. You must not only care about the salvation of others but you must be careful not to forget about your own soul. Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit at all times." After the Lord said those words He said that we should go back.

Many Christians who have heard this story do find it problematic. They would always ask me, "What about justification, mercy and grace?" and "Is it possible to lose your Salvation after you have received it?" "Is that not a bit too harsh?" "Can God be so cruel?"
Well, as I have said elsewhere in this book, I am not presenting any theology here. I am just telling you what the Lord has shown and taught me - and what He has allowed me to experience. Please refer to your Bible for answers. Look at the following verses and make your own judgment.

"But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I preached to others, I myself should become disqualified." (1Corinthians 9:27)

"What shall we say then? Shall we continue to sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? (Romans 6:1-2)

"Do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lust." (Romans 6:12)

"For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries." (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Can I go to Hell after having served the Lord and led many to Christ? You be the judge!

Dear reader, I congratulate you if you are reading this because you are still alive to amend your way, second chance. You need to totally surrender your life to Jesus and experience genuine salvation that gives power over sin and Satan. You do this by repentance, confession and surrender.

If you have surrendered your life to Jesus before, but rising and falling, counting some sins and too small, refusing to do necessary restitution and living a consist holy life, you need to rededicate your life to Jesus before it is too late. DO IT NOW.

If you are a child of God, serving God, you need to examine yourself and ask the Lord to search you; don't be conceited. You think you stand? You think so, but let God search and sanctify you more and more. Let's be watchful and prayerful and we look forward for the appearance of the LORD.

LOOKING AHEAD!
It was a wonderful and funny experience I had this evening around 5pm as I was driving home. The rain was just dropping and suddenly it became so heavy that I could only manage to see ahead, I had to put on my full light and the emergency light also as the wipers were working at the highest level. As the rain continued to get heavier, I was thinking of parking aside, I don’t like driving in the heavy rain especially after I watched this movie, 90 minutes in heaven, (LOL). The sky was cloudy as the heavy rain continued, but as I looked ahead I saw a bright sky, so I felt I should continue driving. As I continued driving in the heavy rain and cloudy sky, within few seconds, I found myself in a dry, bright, sunny sky without rain. It was a surprise to me, from heavy and cloudy sky rain to a dry, bright sun sky. I was like, “Thank God I didn’t pull over in the rain. And the same thing is applicable in our Christian race.

WHEN THE CHRISTIAN RACE GETS TOUGHER
Sometimes the Christian race gets so tough that we could barely feel the power of God and hardly see the possibility of God’s promises, when flesh becomes so tough to subdue, when Satan becomes more roaring to resist, when walking with God becomes so tedious and tiring, when working for God becomes so difficult and waiting on the Lord becomes so annoying like wasting time and when heaven becomes so far away, do you know what we are to do? It is not to pull over or pull back or look back, we are to do what Jesus Christ did. In Hebrews 12:2, the Word of God admonished us to “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith" meaning we are to look unto Jesus and do as He did when things were tough for Him during His earthly ministry, we should look to the secret of His success during His earthly ministry when things got so hard and tough, here it is in that same Hebrews 12:2, “who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Jesus Christ looked beyond the cross, and He saw the joy, of salvation of many souls, the rewards, and glory, so He was encouraged to endure the cross and despise the present, passing shame of the cross. And so we are to follow His steps, we are to look ahead of the present situations. Look ahead of the eternal joy that is set before you in heaven, of the rewards in heaven and eternal blessing of being in the present of God for ever and ever and ever. And why should we not endure the temporal cross and difficulties, why are we not going to despise the passing shame of the world? By God's grace we will!

Are we going to fall back from the race to heaven because of the present pressure of sin and persecution of Satan? Are we going to forfeit the mansions, crowns of glory and eternal joy of heaven? Are we going to forsake our precious salvation and covenant of total faithfulness to God because of these temporal, screen-saver earthly gains? Are we going to miss the glorious heaven and mess up in the gloomy hell forever? NO! God forbid! By His grace, in this Christian race, we will not pull over, we will not pull back, we will not fall, we will not faint and we will not falter. When flesh becomes so tough to subdue, we will plunge into unlimited God’s grace and put the flesh to death. When Satan becomes more roaring, we will resist him by faith in Christ, not by our power. When walking with God becomes so tiring, He will renew our strength to fly. When working for God becomes so difficult, we are going to look unto Jesus Christ, we are going to wait on Him and He shall take us to His Father’s house of many mansions, and there we shall be with Him and reign with Him forever and ever. Amen!

Satan is a bad god but God is a good God, Satan is a liar and way of death but Jesus Christ is a Way of Truth and Life. And so we are not going to join the stupid generation who choose death instead of life, who choose sin instead of salvation, but we are not going to turn back like many others. By daily prayer, daily Bible reading, daily watchfulness and daily available God’s grace, we are making it, I am making it and you are making it to heaven.

You know what the Bible says in the same Hebrews 12:22, “But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, 23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel. Amen!

It also says, “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.” Hebrews 12:28.

THE SECRETS OF SERVING GOD (PLEASE READ THIS)
"Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16
The truth is that, you either serve God or you serve the devil; you can not serve both together. To many, serving God seems difficult, while to others, it is like impossible or unattainable task. But when we do it right and realize the secrets, it becomes easy and successful.

THE RIGHT START!
The only acceptable way to serve God is through Jesus Christ, you need to experience genuine salvation through Jesus Christ. Many are having it hard in their Christian lives because they have it wrong or they are taking it wrong way. Christian life without genuine salvation makes it terribly difficult and impossible. If you want to serve God acceptably and successfully, you need to start well. Genuine salvation starts with repentance; many are starting their Christian lives with confession, and they find it hard to overcome sin and Satan, they keep confessing and committing sins. Repentance is the solid base, it is realizing your sins and ready to forsake them. After your genuine readiness to forsake sins, then you go ahead and confess, ask God to forgive and cleanse you through the Blood of Jesus Christ; ask Him to save you, then you are saved.

RUNNING THE RACE: 2 ISSUES
(1) The point is that your salvation helps you to forsake sins, but you can't forget everything about sin; after you surrender your life to Jesus, the formal thoughts of sin will still come, the tendencies and temptation will come. Some time you will feel weak and vulnerable, and suggestion may come to your mind to give in to sin by the pressures within and without. Sometimes, this pressure will be so pressing as if you can't but give in to it; people outside may be pressing you to yield to sin again. The memory of the past sin may flood your mind as if you have not be saved, and Satan will try to confuse you that you are not a child of God. Another common issue is after you have resisted a particular sinful habit and you think that is the end, you may be surprised that the tendency will re-surge after some months or years. You may be disturbed and wonder why that again? The reason is because Satan is not dead yet and he is desperate about your dear life. You resist him, he goes and then look for another opportunity to come, as he did to Jesus. "Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time." Luke 4:13.

(2) After you rededicated or re-devoted your life to Jesus, you want to serve God, you want to please God, you want to pray more, you want to read God’s Word more; you want to preach God’s Word. But then you feel empty. When you want to pray, before you pray for 5 minutes you are empty, before you read few verses of Bible you feel sleepy, your heart is wondering about. It is like your prayer can’t be answered, as if you are not meant to be strong spiritually, as if you can’t be strong in prayer, as if God hates you or you are not a child of God. Has it happened to you before? What next came to your mind? "STOP!" That you should, “stop the prayer, the reading Bible, the new life in Jesus. You will always fumble, you are not meant for such life. You are naturally week and God is not really looking for such people like you.” The secret is that such a thought is not just ordinary; it is from the devil to discourage you from moving forward.

SO WHAT IS THE SOLUTION?
(1) DON'T GIVE IN. Do not give in or yield to sinful thoughts, tendencies or temptations. We cannot pray that temptation should not come but we can pray unto God to deliver us from temptation, by His grace and strength. Keep resisting the devil as many times he comes with temptations, keep standing, don't relent, keep praying and watching every moment. Many Christians successfully resisted the devil at the first hand, but later they felt relaxed and fell afterward. A Christian who comes out of past nature of lust, immorality, masturbation or anger, he may stand to resist after his salvation but he needs to keep standing and resisting, because the tendencies may still come over again. The secret is that you keep resisting through prayer and Satan will keep fleeing from you.

(2) DON'T STOP. You are praying and you feel empty and wondering about? Don’t stop, continue the prayer, God understand your weakness. The secret is keep on the prayer, you will be filled by the Spirit of God before you finish the prayer. The secret is that the first few minutes of prayer, praising God in Spirit or reading Bible are likely to be distracted and discouraged; but if you don’t stop you will be filled, full and stronger.

The same thing is applicable in your new life in Jesus, in your re-devotion, re-dedication and consecration to God. It will first be un-natural, boring, discouraging, and cumbersome as if you can’t stay long, as if you can’t survive or sustain to the end, as if you can’t understand everything or be holy. Do you remember when you got your first phone and going through the manual? It was as if you would not get the functioning right, but now you are almost an expert, why because you didn’t stop using and practicing the phone. So also if you don’t stop in your new devotion to Jesus, you will get better and stronger. It is applicable to everyone, both the people in the past and present; all who have ever come to Jesus went through such striving, only they didn’t give up and many are passing though similar things. But Satan will want to personalize it to you as if you are the worst. The devil is a LIAR!

CO N C L U S I O N !
When the people, pressure, persuasion or feeling to commit sin comes again, DON’T YIELD! It is then you will discover the strength and grace of God as your weakness is turned to strength. When the feeling of being empty, of wondering of thoughts, of weakness, of discouragement and despair comes to stop you from your decision and move to serve God, DON’T STOP! If you don’t stop you will be strong. Take your weakness to God in prayer and get strength and grace everyday.

1 Peter 5:8. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.”
