Funny enough since mine was sent from UK, i was expecting the verification will not take this long. I think i have to send a mail to my school to confirm if any form of verification mail was sent to them. I don taya

UK degrees are not usually verified I think... is it a UK degree? but naija degrees are verified... at least most of the case...until the verification mail comes from WES , you can't do anything.

I'm tired of waiting for the mail to come so I can proceed to the next step.

patience is a virtue. mine got to them on the 20th of April. still no verification mail. be patient. it's not easy.

My documents was sent to WES on the 30 April 2018 for ECA. Please, how long would it take for WES to update my status? Or should I say how long would it take for WES to receive the documents from Nigeria?

I would appreciate responses from the gurus in the house. Thanks.

if it was sent on the 30th, it should have gotten to WES by now . it usually takes about 4days max from naija. you should have a tracking number to track your package as well... u will see if it's been delivered.

secondly, check your WES account to see if they've updated status. it will show if documents received.

mine got to them on the 19th. they updated on the 20th. waiting for verification mail anytime now.

Awww. never say never!! my advice to you both is that you should take some time off the exams and study . the exams are all about following instructions, having a good sense of timing, total focus and serious preparation with past questions to know the format. I aced mine in the second attempt. don't worry. give yourselves a month again but study everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow. that would have been an awesome result ...you need at least a 7.0 in writing. I would suggest a remark. it's worth a try cos the other scores are top-notch. but you would need a healthy dose of patience. if you have money, register another exam while u apply for a remark. cheers.

I'm so excited!!. First time writing IELTS, got my perfect scores with CRS 475.

Result: LRWS=8,9,7,8.

Even with the little drama regarding my speaking test rescheduling. Thanks to the guys that suggested and emailed me contacts to get my speaking test rescheduled, I was contacted by the BC examiner for my test centre @sorefunmi @happytbaby.

Could've gotten a 9 in Listening but I got bored and my mind started to wander towards the end so I missed a few answers.
Speaking result was unexpected as the lady examiner was smiling at me and everything I said a little too much and might've distracted me a little...lol
For writing in my opinion, the time given was too short or it just went by fast to get all my points down.

Nairaland is such a wonderful place with amazing people willing to help all the time. Off I go to create my EE profile.

OK. 21 days post verification or 21 days counting from delivery ?

You should receive a mail when it is dispatched to your school for verification. Maybe you should give pause for 1 more week before contacting WES. However, ensure someone in your school's exams and record unit is on the look out for the mail from WES.

This Canada EE thing can drain the hell outta you..especially when you are just confused over some info. From reading page 0 to getting conflicting responses. The long wait of WES evaluation is another agent that can send frustration down your spine...hahhahahaha..
Me i have resolved to take everything one step at a time biko..before i develop HBP. From bookmarking down to writing down infos on a special book then sending pm to gurus..meehhhnn this journey aint easy.
WES should be fast abeg...lemme jump into the pool and know what next.
