Hi,

Why not share core information of what is required of the person before moving the conversation to private chat. At least this will massively reduce the number of messages you will get and ultimately save you the stress of reading through messages from people that may not fit into what is required of the DB admin.

Well, the last person that was there for an interview as I heard wanted a 250k pay check every month and the owner said she cant afford that for now.

At all, please if you are not a qualified Chartered Accountant there is no point sending CV's to my mail... Please let me get to the right Cv's in time so i can forward.

If I or my boss was the employer i can convince him to hire a smart person who isnt Charterred yet, but no there is a reputation to protect here...

Hello,

I have no idea what the monthly take home will be. However, I believe there should be a standard salary for a chartered fellow. Also, you can apply and if/when interviewed you will get to know the salary.

Hello everyone,

Okay, a big restaurant in Lagos (around Victoria Island) is in need of a Chartered Accountant.

NOTE: 1 to 2 years experience and if you don't have any experience, the right candidate should be very smart (kinda like a "plug and play" employee).

Send CV's to the email below with the subject "ACCOUNTANT APPLICATION"

28oct.leke@gmail.com

NOTE: I did not add the name of the restaurant here as my boss (A friend of the restaurant owner) said the owner wants a referred employee - This means I will forward your CV to my boss once it gets to me.
Business / Re: Paystack - What Did Others Do Wrong? by fretfingers: 1:56am On Sep 28, 2017
Sure... Check their docs
Business / Re: Paystack - What Did Others Do Wrong? by fretfingers: 8:44pm On Sep 27, 2017
1. They got funding from an accelerator program. Got mentorship from professionals (project managers, business developers and so on) during the boot camp. This amidst others - fine tuned their idea at its early stage.

2. Easy payment gateway integration - You do not necessarily have to be a developer or hire one before integrating payment solutions to your system.
They have two integration types :
a. URL based integration (For non developers)
b. API based integration (For developers)

3. Just to re-iterate what pcguru said - They got nice, easy and detailed documentation.

I have not worked with much payment gateways but I have worked with Remitter and Interswitch... and I still prefer Paystack - fast growing, easy to integrate, very developer friendly integration process and less than two years old online payment solutions. cheesy grin

Remiter wouldnt had made waves if they didnt have govt strong backing - Government at one point made it compulsory for its parastatals to integrate Remiter into their system. This made system vendors to integrate with Remiter so as to remain relevant in the govt clime.

Integrating with them was World War Zee... not too good support.

Lemme stop here I have said enough already and its getting too long - Boring cool

Modified: If you want to push your start up idea to the accelerator (Where Paystack got their first big funding) to get funding... They are called YC Combinator

Just thought I should drop it here for guys that have ideas and do not know about this start up funding programs... There are lots and lots of them... if you do not know.... then you have not start searching well....

There is "The Next Titan", Diamond bank, UBA and so many other Investor funding programs as well as accelerator programs... However you need to also sell your idea well - PITCH ...

Good luck to everyone is search of making your startup go global. cool cool

Hi...

You don't need a poultry management system database... What happens when you decide to do fish farming or is it pond management system? Will you start creating another database to cater for it?

What you need is a farm management database.. One database structure that fits all types of farm business (livestock, crop and so on)..

Programming / Re: What Is The Best Strategy To Win A Whot Game? by fretfingers: 11:47pm On Jan 29, 2017
I think you dint get my question well.

Let me paint a scenerio:

You and Comp have 5cards each...

You have three balls numbered (5,3,1) and a triangle and carpet with numbers (8,11) respectively

Comp has one ball with number (4) , one carpet numbered (1) and three stars numbered (5,8,7) respectively..

Now Comp is to play next and the opening card has a carpet with number 5...(Note:: Games mode is set to professional or the highest ranked diffculty)

Now my question again.. What card do you think the comp should play first?

What I think should be considered are the following (which are based on your knowledge/research or expertise on the game itself) Please note that I am not an expert too at whot playing however I know guys that are good at it and the ability to guess 80percent of the following gives them that edge IMO ::

1. Card Number or Shape?
2. Card number or Shape on Hand
3. 80percent guessing precision on Card number or shape with the challenger (this IMO is a logical guess based on the probability of the card opened and the Card on hand)
4. Card that links other cards
5. Most frequently occuring Card Number or shape.
6. Least frequently occuring Card Number or shape.
7. Total number of Action cards on hand
8. Leading cards
9. If you are to deal then it should be that there is a piece missing in the card combo to form the perfect winning combo plus you also have the feeling your challenger may also deal.

Sorry for the long text.. However I just wanted to point out that there are more than one variables/parameters to consider than just prompting the comp to play according to just the card (number and shape) played by the challenger that's if you want the comp game level to be top notch.

Regards

opeaceo:

Yeah, honestly, or do you have a better option?

Lol... Young lady, a fee would as a matter of fact encourage more scammers... Y? Cause tell me how much seun would charge them that wouldn't be affordable (1kobo, 2kobo or 5naira may be)?

Secondly, when you open a thread you have that mindset that the OP paid for it hence, you will believe most (if not all) of the things he/she says, well assuming we all see it from ur perspective/POV.

Thirdly, forget about good threads, why? Because why would I want to share my knowledge or expertise in a field on NL when I will be required to pay before I can tutor people (seriously?) when I can as well go on other social platforms and share freely... Guess what would happen--yeah u guessed right--- all threads would be ads cause to open a thread may be cheaper than putting up ads on NL.. So why pay for ads when I can open a thread and interact with so many people... Lol I will jst advertise soap one week then advertise wristwatches n shoes the next...

Lol.. I hope with this few(kinda exaggerated) points of mine av been able to convince n not to confuse you that paying before opening threads on a forum as NL aint d way forward to curbing scam/scammers..

Regards.

1. The size of the textarea available to reply a post isnt fixed... I was able to resize it such that the top-right and button-right edges of the textarea were lost (by lost, not that the text were missing). Hence when typing my reply/post, i couldnt see my far-righted (permit me to use the word) posts.

2. The follow button when clicked dint change to "following" (although i got a message indicating that i clicked on the follow button). It only changed when i refreshed the page. Same when i clicked "following" to unfollow.

3. When i read a quoted post, it says "expand" after reading the quote and OP's username before reading the new post. Also there is this post by lonewolf about chrome computer or so anyways=> the read function reads 12.9 inch as 129 inch same as other decimal point numbers. Now this may seem not important to you now but imagine a section thats entirely "figures" dependent say building/construction where post contains dimensions n so on in form of numbers which means the read function needs to be optimized, well except you plan to scrap it then you need not bother.

4. The font size used for the OPs name should be smaller than the topic in the recent topics tray. Its not eye friendly IMO. Lose the "bold" on the OPs name. You can use the same font for the time/date and the OPs name. Also make either the OPs name or the time and date to be in italics OR the font color for the OPs name should be different from the topics.

5. I got the following error when i hit the backspace button to take me a step back to previous page. It worked perfectly initially, but i spent some few mins on a page and when i decided to go a step back (pressing the backspace button) i got the following error = imageBelow;

will post more when i fully get the time to test...

Cool website

Oh one more before i hibernate for today,

The gdevit logo should be clickable and link back to home page. I shouldnt have to always click home before going home wink cool
