4.Circumstances may crop where you might not be able to get this Application number from HR/PRO and you probably have already exited the country..Now this will be the time to ask your friend(the one living in UAE)to call 800665, provide your passport number and enquire if any visa has been applied on that name.(If the answer is 'NO'..then its clear the PRO did not apply any visa for you, if the answer is 'YES' ask the call center executive in a polite manner to give you the application number..(once you have this application number,you are now good to go...that means something is happening.


5. Employment visa process takes from 1day to probably maximum 45days)if more than this for sure, there is a problem somewhere.(call 800665 enquire,and you will be advised accordingly).

Take note of these hints...I work with them.

from my little observation, this document has been doctored. There is nothing like " prerequisite for inssurance of the work permit " but prerequisite for issuance of the work permit. There is nothing like "Twelfth Article" but Eleventh Article. There's also no space for ur thumbprinting. In a nutshell, this is not a work permit.

this is not a work permit. It is part of the process for work permit application. You are expected to sign, thumbprint and scan it back to ur sponsor. I also got something like this.

$1=3.6dhs..so you divide the present dollar rate in Naira by 3.6 which will give you the exact black market rate.

$1=455naira. therefore, 455÷3.6=126naira.

Hello forumite, my sponsor in UAE working on my employment visa sent a 5 pages document to my inbox asking me to sign and thumbprint only the last page. The top of the forms indicate ministry of human resources and emiratisation. My question is, is it after dis it will be taking to MOL? Plz gurus I need more clarification on dis. Coz he promised to get d stuff done under 12days.

I got a 2 years job offer from an agent to work in dubai.The total package will cost me 600k.He told me the job is airport cargo boy with free accommodation & transportation and the salary is 1400 dirhams.
I ask him for offer letter but said Offer letter will b giving to me when i get to d company by showing my working permit.Please how true is this?
Also I ask him the nature of the job if ( indoor/outside job) and working hours but he's not sure.Please can anyone tell me the nature of airport cargo boy job in dubai.
Though have not given him any money.please I will need your advice in taking decision.

the agent is not even sure of d working hours. Lemme ask u a question, if after paying d 600k, you get to Dubai and d offer letter States that ur salary is 600aed, 12hrs per day, abeg shey u go turn back?

@omega...y dropping ur int'l passport when all u need is to scan the page that has ur info. E just dy pain me say all d gurus in d house r offline, dy would av advise u better. Peace!

@Omega...dis people wan go dump u for dubai. They will so delay their promise till time would ran out on ur visa and u may end up bn an illegal immigrant or Teco. I don read part 1 and part 2 and my OT on Dubai is 100%....thanks to justi4jesu, monchou, nattybanta, samhay, igwe and d likes.

this is a SCAM from the pit of hell..my brother, RUN for ur dear life. If they r real, you wouldn't need to travel with a tourist visa as they would av perfected ur employment visa and you would av signed an offer letter b4 the procesing kick-start. The offer letter will gv more details abt d company,contractual terms, gross salary etc then you can run a background check on d company.

well, going to Dubai to search for job is a different thing to thinking of "starting a good life"... All I can say is to be careful, read the travel section thoroughly and from there you will have an idea of what is good for you. Peace!

Sorry to say bro, I doubt if anyone could start a good life with 600k outside naija. with the present exchange rate, 600k is equivalent to $1379. As someone opined, Gambia should be OK or Togo & Benin republic.peace!
