This tithe issue is being over flogged. I tithe and it's my personal decision. I was not told to tithe by any man of God. I read it in the bible and believed in it and it has been working wonders for me. At times when things seems hard, I go on my knees and tell God to remember my givings and how I have been faithful to it and everything will change immediately. Please, tithing depends on your relationship with God. It is personal and you don't need any third party to dictate how you worship your God to you. It is not by force.
